Candy felt a wide smile form on her face as her fireball hit its target and set it aflame. For the moment at least, that was one enemy essentially down, especially if the flames weren't put out anytime soon. The only problem was that as he screamed and jumped as flames ate at him, this meant he was an elemental hazard to both herself and Karina...though it was also true of his own allies.

She was somewhat annoyed that her next target dodged her spell, but she was unrelenting as she sent out more waves of lightning his way. He suggested figuring they needed a meeting point in case they fail to meet up at the potion shop.

Aramis procures a Steel Helmet and Steel Shield and spends 40 gold to do so. Aramis sells his Iron Shield if possible. Aramis now has 14 Gold remaining.

Kal accepts the quest too, and so Ruby does <Well, that settles it> she sais, waving at the fox man while following her companion, and once they were out of his reach, she'll concentrate on trying to find leads to the demoniac's lair <See? After the boss they got 8 experience points, and she still needed 2 to level up, but completing this quest could have given her the two points needed to level up...

Lulu acquires the armor with no trouble. She does get two coins for her iron boots, lowering the price just a bit. The bear happily makes the transaction, and sets her up with her new gear. If there is something she wants, but doesn't have, it would be good to come back tomorrow. As she leaves the store, she spots the apothecary just past the archery store. Large health potion: 70 gold coins: restores 20 health points

Antidote: 15 coins: cures poison

Arashi had no trouble purchasing the shield and helmet from the bear merchant. He got three gold coins for his iron shield. This let him end up with 17 gold coins before he left for the potion shop. He encountered nothing else on his way to the potion store. the entire transaction did not take very long. The bear merchant was rather swift in his transactions and his bargaining skills. After they got their affairs in order, the two set out to find their injured quarry. They were able to follow his blood trail, through the farm and out into the woods. As they made their way into the woods, Kal took the lead, being a better tracker. Once she got on the creatures trail, she followed it for two hours. However, during this time, both of them felt like they were being watched. They would occasionally see things in the corner of their vision, but never when they looked. They then followed the blood trail to a small, abandoned cabin in the woods. It looked old and dilapidated, but still functional. They could see one window on the building as well as a door. However, they could not see anyone around the cabin, through the blood trail, led right up to the door.

Candy was not surprised that her enemy didn't seem all that bothered by her mad cackling, but she didn't mind. Half the reason she'd gone for this open beta was to vent in the first place, and this fight was proving an excellent way to do so. Most people she reckoned would have been bothered by the fact that the Gnoll like monster was coming at her with an axe, but this was simply an opportunity to unleash her other spell. After all, the closer it was, the less likely she was to miss.

Taking just a moment to make sure she wouldn't hit her ally as he closed in, she let loose the ice spell upon him, and then aimed to follow it up with more lightning. If she was lucky, it'd freeze or slow him enough to give her the time to get in some more hits before it could try and slice her apart. Or, at the very least, get out of its way.

Arashi was all smiles by the end of the transaction and whilst he figured he might have gotten a better deal on his shield by maybe one gold he wasn't going to complain about it. After all he may not have the right skills or bonuses to get a good deal on it. If that's a thing anyway. In either case Lulu and he seemed to have a good mindset when it came to questing and priorities so he could honestly see them questing more and more.

'Geez! Good thing I've saved quite a bit back. Potions are expensive!' Lulu thinks as she sees the prices. Well, she's got 31 coins, so it's not all that bad. She needs to hold some in reserve anyway since the Armory told her that they're constantly getting new inventory in and she might want some of that. So she decides to grab 2 Small Health Potion, since that does the same thing as a Health Potion anyway for a smaller price, and save the rest of her 11 coins for later. Once she's done, she turns her attention to the Fighter that she noticed earlier. He doesn't seem to be doing much, so she debates whether to invite him to the quest to the quarry. Setting off, with Kal leading, the two follow the trails left by the demonic wolf man, delving deeper and deeper into the forest. Time passed, and the tracking itself wasn't so hard. Instead, all along she felt like someone was watching them, and even sometimes shadows seemed to appear in the corner of her vision. Was she just imagining it? Was it just an illusion? Ruby had time to think about it for quite some time, as hours took for them to arrive at the end of the trail. The traces of blood continued till the door of an old cabin.
Things were quite suspicious, and directly going into a cabin where there could have been prepared an ambush seemed like a really bad idea. Not that their combination would allow for such. Kal was a sniper, and as so needed to be in an open space to be as efficient as possible, so a fight inside there would not be good <You remain there, ready to shoot your arrows. I'll scout ahead> she whisper those words to her companion, and then, as stealthy as possible, making good use of her class's features, she tries to go near the window and sneak a peek inside, and after getting a look as good as possible inside, she'll try to open the door while hiding, so that even if it's open, she wouldn't be seen from inside.

Maximus growled, growing slightly annoyed as this goblin kept evading him. Clutching his ax harder, he tried to think up a plan for when the goblin came at him again. Once again waiting for the goblin to charge at him, Maximus decides to try and use the goblin's agility against it.

Waiting for the charge, Maximus would drop his shield arm almost all the way to the ground, preventing it from going under it again. He would the follow up his block with another swing of his ax, trying to take the bastard out.

Not interested in testing the fighting abilities of two remaining goblins, Daeva uses their distracion over the death of their companion and starts running away. Dave hopes the game is realistic enough to give Daeva speed advantage thanks to her longer legs, but there's no reason in giving the goblins the time needed to collect themselves and lessen her headstart. Hopefuly he'll find a way back to the town instead of getting lost deeper in the woods. Daeva will need to heal, find some quest and maybe some meathsh...tank to keep baddies away. Thogh his original goal, testing the combat, was fulfilled, Dave's regretting that with two enemies still left, there isn't enough time to search the body of slain goblin for any loot, so there will be no new equipment when he'll get back to civilisation. Rosa made her way toward the two wolves chewing on their bones. The rock she threw proved a perfect distraction as the wolves got up to look over toward the noise. She then was able to creep forward until she was directly behind her opponent. She then drew her dagger and embedded them both into the sides of her opponent. Karina made her move, as another hyena was closing in on Candy, ready to attack her. However, the hyena caught Karinas movements out of the corner of his eye, and was able to dodge her slash at him. This caused Candys spell, to pass right over Karinas arm, close to her face. The hyena himself, dodged Karinas attack, and was ready to counter-attack, but he jumped back to dodge the ice spell, that Candy had cast. The hyena that Karina originally slashed, now jumped forward to get to her. This ended with Karina and the hyena after Candy facing each other, while the second hyena closed in on Karinas shield side. Candy was a few feet away from the stand off, and facing the hyena that was after her, but now turned his attention to Karina.

The fighter that Lulu spoke to, looked her body over, before he greeted her.

Ruby made her way around the small cabin and scouted it out. she found a small window and was able to peer through. As she checked out the inside of the cabin, she saw three things that stood out. The first was the tripwire just inside the window. The second was a trip wire just behind the front door. The third thing, was that the blood trail went halfway through the floor of the cabin and just disappeared. Upon looking closer, it looked as if there was a trap door of some kind in the floor of the cabin.

Maximus was able to put his plan into motion. The goblin tried to roll past his legs, but ended up, headbutting Maximus' shield. The goblin then let out a loud curse, before jumping back, which pulled the axe out of his arm and side. The goblin was hurt badly, but not quite out of the fight, as his arm bled freely.

Davea saw her experience bar go up as she ran away to 4/10. She made her way out of the forest, with no trouble and could see the town off in the distance, which she made a break for. She soon arrived at the town gates, without any trouble, and made her way inside. She now stood at the towns southern gate, looking over the merchant square as the merchants, people, and guards went about their daily business. She did not see anything out of the ordinary, as she walked around. Though she could see the guild halls now, and they appeared to be open.

All players: The guilds are now open with their first quests.
