Lulu had a point. It was better to level up first before tackling this dungeons and using their gold to better outfit themselves. Secondly they might be able to get some extra help for it because new players have to be constantly coming and going to and fro. Secondly the GM did mention they required a healer. Better to find a PC healer than rely on an NPC healer who may very well not have the best AI on them. "Seems like good advice to backtrack the way we came but first lets mark the location so we can find it. We don't have a map either so we might be able to unlock that at New Haven." Arashi said in contemplation and the company head did say this was essentially an open quest that was meant for a party and several at that since each team could complete this quest. "Let's head back to New Haven and prepare. Maybe we can gather more people as well to help with it."

While waiting for her companion to sit in the chair she listen to her, and then answers <I know that he's not dead and might return, but the fox man wanted us to protect his cattle for the night, and we did it, so it should be finished. He'll probably give us another quest to kill him once we explain the situation> she stops talking when the girl sits and gets the "time machine" going, and once again they skip time until the next morning. Once the time skip finish, she gets up and proceeds to go down the stairs, and it's then that she hears the fox man calling.
Ruby is about to answer when... she remembers. During the fight she took off her upper armor, and right now she's still topless. Blushing almost as red as her hair, the girl sprints toward her leather vest, wearing it before finally talking back to the fox <It went well> she said, approaching the door <And you were right. It indeed was a demon that came here. A demoniac wolf man, clad in flames. It was hard, but we managed to make him flee without taking any of your cattle. This should be enough to fulfill your request, right?> she hints at the reward, and then continues <We have done our work, as promised. However, if you ask, maybe we could try to track him and finish what we started, so he won't ever be back here to bother you> once again she hints that they have done what was requested, and if he wanted a continuation he first needed to keep his word, and then make another request.

Alright! Stand behind me though I'll protect you. Oh and let me make a torch real quick, it's pretty dark in there. Karina tears off on of her sleeves and wraps on a dread branch she found at the foot of the large tree. Tying around the top of the branch she ignites the cloth by striking her sword against some stones to create some sparks on some kindling. With her torch lit she moves into the cave towards the voices, caution with every step keeping candy at her back just in case.

Candy nodded, though she idly wondered if the torch was necessary. After all, she was a sorceress...theoretically she should be able to cast some sort of spell to produce a light for exploring dark places.

Kal watched Ruby's interactions, she didn't speak up honestly she still didn't believe the quest to be done yet so she would hold her tongue for now and see what happens. If Ruby proved to be wrong they would simply go out and hunt the thing otherwise they would take the reward and move onto the next stage.

Rosa crouched a bit and prepared her twin daggers, ready to attack. She waited till the wolf tried to attack her or Wulf. If the wolf attacked her she'll quickly side step it and then stab it from behind. If it attacked Wulf she'll try to charge and strike it before it could get to Wulf.

Wulf Growled lightly and prepared to either defend herself or attack the wolf she watched it closely to make sure it couldn't howl and call for backup or run from her and Rosa. Wulf still wagged her tail but faster and more excitedly spreading the smell of her arousal and excitement around a lot to the point of the smell making her more aroused.

Well, there it goes. Though torn dress doesn't concern Dave one bit, getting hurt is much more unpleasant here then in others, non-VR games. Dave considers his chances again. He can kill this goblin, maybe even one other, but the last one will propably kill Daeva. Retreat sounds like best option, though it will mean lost loot. Whatever tactic he'll choose, this goblin will have to die, though.

Daeva launches Ice Spike at the staggered goblin in hope he won't be able to dodge as fast again. The little bastards are quick, but she's getting better with practice too, though practice in less dangerous circumstances would be prefered.
If it takes me two weeks or more to respond to a RP without prior notice, send me a PM. It's more likely I've missed the last post, forgot or got distracted and need a little reminder rather than deciding to drop the game without warning.

Candy and Karina:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As the two entered the small cave, they found little of interest as they followed the voices. Yep, they were definitely voices. Though, they sounded off, somewhat, as if they were not human voices. The two did not encounter anything as they made their way through the dark cave. However, as they turned a particularly sharp corner, they came upon a chamber inside. What they saw inside took a moment for their minds to register.
There was a horse woman, chained to the ceiling. She was hanging loosely from her wrists, as she had slumped down as if unconscious. She was a dark brown furred mare, with lighter brown on her stomach and chest, which was exposed. There were three hyena anthros sitting around the chamber, laughing as they drank and relaxed, not noticing the two, yet.

Arashi and Lulu:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The journey back to New Haven was uneventful, other than the burned wagon being gone, along with all traces of its existence. They arrived at the bustling town, without trouble, and found their quest journals leading them to a small building set, next to the market place. There was a young looking fox male standing behind the counter, looking over a large book. Their quests journals pointed to him for their rewards. Once the two made their way up to him, he gave them both a happy smile.
"Ah, completed a quest? Very good for you two, here is your reward!"
He said, as he handed them each a small coin purse containing 40 gold coins each. They both then saw their experience bar jump up to 14/10. They then got their level up message on their HUD, as well as a message about their new ability.
Arashi: Shield bash: Shield bash: has a chance to stun opponent for one post. Three post cool down. (Shield enchantments add damage to this attack)
Lulu: Pommel Strike: Hit opponent with pommel of blade, doing damage as well as stunning opponent. Three post cool down.

Ruby and Kal:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The fox man made his way into the barn and happily hugged Ruby, picking her up in a surprisingly strong hug.
"Oh, Thank you for protecting my cattle!"
He said, as he showered thanks upon them both, before he walked back outside, and giving them each a very large pack, the could fit on their backpacks, allowing them both to each carry a tent and a sleep roll, for camping. He then stopped to think for a moment.
"I don't have anything else to offer you, other than coin, if you want to track that beast down. I'll give you each 50 coins to ensure that he stays dead."

Wulf and Rosa:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The wolf charged at Wulf, teeth bared as it readied to bite into her. However, despite her arousal, she was still able to concentrate on killing her attacker. She ducked to the side, and stabbed the creature in its heart. The wolf let out a small yelp, before it hit the ground, for the final time, not getting back up. It's life's blood began to ebb away into the ground, as it breathed its last breath. The chamber they were in was now empty, though it looked like nothing of interest was in it. Fortunately, nothing else came to investigate the noises of battle.

Rosa rolls a: 7
Wolf rolls a: 14

Davea:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The goblin clambered after Davea, with its weapon raised. However, her spell proved too fast for him, and it hit him square in the chest. The goblin turned into an ice statue momentarily, before it crumpled away, emitting all sorts of cracking and cackling noises, before finally breaking apart. The other two goblins looked at each other for a moment. They hesitated, as they were deciding whether to attack her or run away. If Davea wanted to escape, now was her chance.

Candy was a bit surprised to see yet another person, though an NPC this time, completely naked. However, of more interest was the Hyena morphs around the room. They hadn't yet noticed either of them, but Candy wasn't exactly sure if the odds were in there favor. As far as she could tell, there was no level indicator to tell them how difficult they'd be, and recalling the introduction, she somehow had a feeling that it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume the developers had thrown in some higher level encounters for n00bs to encounter, to teach them the wisdom of grouping and or grinding before tackling the big stuff.

She pulled up her spell list, and selected fireball as a good spell to use if they decided to engage them. She looked over to Karina and said "Well, if you want to take them on, I can send a fireball at'em."

"Annoying little prick!"

Maximus growled, seeing as how he not only didn't finish off his kill, but got counter attacked as well. Just peachy. He knew he wasn't in any real danger yet, but he wasn't looking to be in any either. Tightening the grip on his ax and shield, he gets in a defensive stance. Knowing the goblins would charge again, he decided to let them. If the full health one charged first, he was planning on using shield slam on it, take it out of the equation for now. If his injured buddy did instead, he would end it's misery.

"C'mon you little bastards! Come at me if you have the balls!"
Sometimes I think i'm crazy, but then my other voice says i'm alright.

I'm not sure if i'm just too creative, or just cant focus on one thing.

Wulf walks over to Rosa and whispers quietly "Hey do you wanna split up or stay together?" Wulf asked pointing at the different exits while trying to see what was different about them She looks at Rosa "Hey I got an idea I'll go down the middle you explore the other two ok?" And before Rosa can answer Wulf set off down the path her tail still wagging as her arousal grew more and more 'What the hell why am I so, Mhhh me being a submissive bitch letting big wolves mate with me non stop stretching my ass and pussy giving birth to wolf cubs." Wulf shakes her "What the Hell? What am I, in Heat? yeah right." She mumbled as she entered the chamber another wave of lust hit her kicking her arousal up another notch to the point of her pussy juice soak both her legs

Before Rosa could respond Wulf was already heading down one of the mineshafts. She smelled Wulf's scent again from Wulf continuously wagged her tail. Rosa felt herself get warmer for some reason but she ignored it and went down one of the others paths. She made sure to keep to the darker parts of the mineshaft and to be as quiet as possible.

"Yeah, lets take these guys, i'll take the two on the left and center you take the one on the right. Im a shield bash the center one and slash at the one on the left. Im a snuff my torch as well so get a good look and aim straight." Karina puts out the fire on her torch and repositions herself to get a clear charge on the hyena in the center. If Candy could take out the other hynea with a fireball quickly they both can easily over power the other two anthros.

Candy had no intention of simply aiming for one enemy...not when the description for Fireball made it to be an area of effect attack. Taking a moment to find center her aim in a way that it should hit all three, she gathered the magical energies she felt flowing through her and let loose the fireball! She gave it five seconds to speed toward them before she called up Sparkle Fingers and made ready to attack the one Karina had suggested she take on. A spell with essentially no cool down time...she had every intention of spamming that.

The fox man in quite over-zealous with his thanks, leading Ruby to instantly move back, and then receives her reward. As he said, he gave them equipment for sleeping anywhere. Pretty handy. He then continues with his offer, and she responds <For me there is no problem... if it's ok for my friend here, too> yes, the wolf is too strong for her to beat alone, but with that sniper help it would probably be possible to bring him down. She knows that she'll accept, but she still ask if she'll go. Once she accept the continuation of the quest, she would begin to try to track the wolf man, otherwise, in the rare chance that Kal won't accept the "new" quest, she'll go back to the city.

Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how one looks at it, the pair encountered nothing else. He wasn't sure if there random encounters to deal with in terms of scenarios and such. However Arashi smiled at the fact that they made it back to the town and to what could only be an adventurers guild. A record keeper in the form of a male fox whom upon conversing with him told them of their success and the commissioned payment of their victory. "Excellent. Alright, first stop are the markets to see if we can find some essentials or upgrades for us. Let's see if theres any other convenient quests we can pick up along the way back before we go as well." Arashi wanted to see if there was any such quest board in this place that had other quests since there might be more than one quest board. In the meantime Arashi checked to see if any of his stats changed from leveling up that tends to happen or if here was anything to invest into them. Particularly hit points and so forth since that was more common. The skill he got was pretty sweet to be sure and one that could be given a boost by his first skill for some synergy.

Seeing the EXP bar fill up, Lulu gives a "WOOT!" of excitement as she levels up. She doesn't see any assignable stat points, so she figures it's not an every level thing. Oh well, she can dig it, especially since she got a new skill out of the deal. Counting up the coins she has, she decides it's time to do a little shopping. "Kay! I was thinking along the same lines anyway. This ratty bit of armor can only take you so far after all."

Candy and Karina:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Candy let loose her fireball into the small gathering of hyenas. The swirling ball of flame hit her target. The hyena in the center burst into flames, as the fireball hit him in the side. The Hyena in front of him, fell backwards from his chair, and hit the ground, letting out a surprised scream. This however, took care of the target Karina was going after, to shield bash, as he was now jumping up, trying to extinguish the flames upon him. She then went to attack her second target and ended up giving him a good slash across the chest, as he was too surprised to get out of the way. However, the second Hyena that Candy was going after, rolled back, after he fell to the ground, and dodged her next lightning fingers spell, before getting up, ready to fight.

Rosa and Wulf:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Wulf made her way down into the center pathway and found it to be quite dark. However, she was able to find her way through, after traveling for several minutes. She then found another small chamber further in. There were two wolves inside the small chamber, though they had not seen nor smelled her yet, and were unaware of her presence.
Rosa took the path on the right and found it to be a rather short path. She soon came to a small bit of rubble, where the mine had partially collapsed. As she fumbled through the debris, she found what remained of a human skeleton. Upon that skeleton however, was a pair of leather gloves, that would compliment her armor, rather nicely.

Maximus:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The wounded goblin charged Maximus first. His weapon was ready, as he charged forth, emitting a guttural battle cry. However, Maximus proved to be too fast for the little monster and ended up putting his axe into the creatures neck. The blood spurted a few times, before Maximus took his axe back, and readied himself, just in time to block an attack from the other goblin, with his shield.

Arashi and Lulu:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As the two made their way to the town market, they found it to be full of stalls, with various merchants selling things. Most of it appeared to be food, and other uninteresting things. However, as they looked through the marketplace, they found the store they were after. They could see an armorers shop just at the end of the marketplace, and the two went to investigate. Upon entering through the wooden door, they found a big bear man behind the counter. He let out a bellowing greeting.
"Howdy! Welcome to my store I sell weapons, armor, and shields. Come take a look and let me know what you are interested in."

Store inventory:
Iron Boots: 8 coins

Looking up at the man, Lulu's about to ask what the hell he eats to get that huge, but then she remembers that she's in a game and he came programmed that way. Still, he's freaking tall as fuck! Getting over that, she takes a look at his wares and compares it to what she's got on right now. Most of the iron stuff didn't look that impressive, though she does note that she's missing gauntlets. Now steel, that's where it's at. All of the steel stuff is much better than the items she has on right now, but the entire set is a just bit out of her price range of 53 coins since she doesn't want the shield. 'I mean, who's heard of a Berserker going into battle with a shield!?' she thinks to herself. So she decides to grab the Iron Gauntlets and the Steel Boots and if she has enough after looking around for some Health Potions she'll come back for the Helmet. "I'm off to find a Apothecary or whatever sells Health Potions. She says to Arashi.
