Rosa stayed back as Wulf attacked the last wolf in the room. If Wulf missed her attack then she'll go in for a quick strike with her twin daggers.

"Random event, huh?" Lulu says, mostly to herself, as the husky lady moves on. That's kinda extreme for a random event, but no one can say it isn't exciting, she guesses. At least she got a reward out of the deal. Speaking of rewards, she makes sure to loot the corpses of the goblins before doing anything else. While she's thinking about it, she checks the Goblin Hunt quest to see if that's complete since, combined, the two of them killed 6 goblins. Then she turns to Arashi. "So what now? Neither of us are at all full power and we've still gotta tackle the quarry. Wanna find the path and get back on that or are we retreating for now? Unless we regen health while we move, I'd go with the former."

The battle pick up it's pace, and with the raging wolf man slashing away at her with his claws, things are getting not only more dangerous, but also more exciting. Yes, now there is no doubt. She made a excellent choice in when she decided to play this game. Slashing and swinging from everywhere, Ruby somehow manages to avoid all the beast's attacks, sometimes by the hair, as she can see them fly in front of her eyes after barely dodging the last swing. She's doing her work well, but... things are not so easy from the other two prospectives. They're moving fast, so fast and unpredictably that they're not able to hit him.

The more the fight draws on, the more harder it will be for the three of them, but it's not like they have any other choice, and so Ruby continues with her work, dodging away any hit coming her way and sometimes adding some feint of her own to make sure that the wolf man focuses on her instead of thinking about the other two.

OOC: our posts indicated we were going to the forest to grind, was that not evident?

"Well, lets head into the forest and get some grinding done. I want test out my spells." Candy says, and takes the lead, heading out of town and towards the forest. If Karian followed her, good, she'd have backup. If not...well...there was always the possibility she could try to find some other way out of a sticky situation

"I'm okay… Seems like the berserker in you got a little blood drunk." He was a touch surprised by the heavy battle lust that Lulu snapped out of and he was fortunate that she had the presence of mind to know whom was friend and foe. The woman that was being molested would approach Arashi now. "You're welcome m'lady" He said taking the gold with a smile of satisfaction knowing she was okay. Arashi had the same idea to loot the bodies and as they conversed they would search half each more than likely. "That was probably adjusted to take advantage of the quest we were on and because we were in a party together." He said patting these goblins down. Upon the suggestion of heading back to New Haven for now it seemed like the wiser course of action. "Seems smart. Let's check the quest log and see if we meet the requirements for beating the Goblin Hunt."

Kal swore her special had missed and she needed to wait once again for the cool down, she decided to just take aim at the wolf once again and to shoot, this fight was surprisingly tough for a first battle but then it gave them plenty of time to learn how to use their abilities.

Mineshaft Madness:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Wulf lunged at her opponent, the wolf dodged to the side. He then jumped up and bit into Wulfs side. She could feel some pain, but not what she would have normally experienced. At this point, Rosa attacked as well, as Wulf had missed. The furry creature, remained light on its feet however, and dodged her attack as well, jumping back to face both of them.
Wulf rolls a: 10 Health 8/10
Rosa rolls a: 16
Wolf rolls an: 18
End Result: Wulf got bitten by a wolf.

Arashi and Natalie:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As the two went over the bodies of the goblins, they found seven coins, as well as an iron helmet. They found nothing else among the bodies. However, they now had to decide who was going to get the helmet. Also, by the time they finished their looting, they saw their health bars go up and refill to full. Apparently, they refilled when not in combat. When they check their quest stauts, they see that the goblin hunt quest has been finished, and their rewards, as well as experience are waiting for them back in town.(Except for dungeons. They Refill much slower in Dungeons.)

Battle at the Barn:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Ruby dodges the Wolf demon, he keeps getting closer and closer with his slashes. However, as he finally gets Ruby to trip and fall down, Kal puts an arrow in his back. This time the wolf, lets out a loud, sharp whine and reaches back to grab the arrow and pull it out. He then snarls at them both, before heading to the front of the barn and running out into the night, away from the barn. You can see the creature take off into the night. However, you also notice that Natalie has logged off. You both could try to track him at night, but that probably would not end well. Best to wait till morning and track it to its lair.
Ruby rolls a: 19
Kal rolls a: 20
Wolf rolls a: 18
End Result: Wolf Demon is injured and runs away. Congrats on beating the first part of the quest. Both players advance in experience, 8/10.

Karina and Candy:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As the two women head off into the forest, they have some time to get to know the scenery. They make their way into the sparse woods, for nearly half an hour before they find anything. However, they soon come across a small set of rocks in the woods. They appear to be some sort of ritualistic boulders set up in a circle, near a small cave entrance.

(I thought that that reference sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it.)

Maximus smiles as he feels his ax sink into the flesh of the goblin, but is slightly disappointed that it didn't drop in one hit. Deciding to put the very injured looking goblin out of his misery, Maximus swings his ax at the creature again, intending to kill it. The second goblin would be a lot easier to handle on it's own, and this is a good warm up to how the creatures in this area act.

Arashi smiled a touch. "Well would you look at that… We have regenerating health outside of combat." Arashi had ahold of the helmet but it looked as though he was trying to figure it out for a moment "Might be a good idea if you take this one since you obviously need the damage resistance more than me." Simply math really. If he was suffering one damage per strike and she was suffering two points then the helmet might reduce this risk she had going for herself. "Doubt theres anything hidden about it. Course if you cannot equip it thats also a problem."

"Hmm… an uneven amount of gold…" Arashi said in contemplation but regardless they would split the gold. Three for each with the single coin that couldn't be split between them as the next thing. "I say we keep any loot we cannot split between us until later when we can split it or we can just use it at the tavern for a good meal and drink to celebrate later." Arashi now had fourteen gold on him at least which was a nice take and Lulu had thirteen and the helmet if she wanted it. Either way there was little else to be gained from this. Checking the positioning they had they still had to travel west in order to find the Stone Quarry. "I say we keep going to the Stone Quarry. If anything we can scout the situation before we commit. Of course if we want to level up we should probably head back to New Haven."

The battle keeps heating up, and as the wolf gets more furious and reckless, his swings keeps getting dangerously close to the girl. Yes, she might be strong by herself, but she's still new to the game and only a level 1 player, so it's already a miracle if she's going toe-to-toe with a boss like him without getting hit. Slash coming from here, dodging from there, jumping from that side, avoiding claws from the other... things are getting harder and less manageable, and this is when it happens. Ruby trips. The wolf is soon upon her and, before she can react, he's about to slash when... he stops, and then screams, trying to pull out from behind him. The girl uses this chance to sneak away from her disadvantageous position, and once she's ready again to fight, she's surprised to see that finally her companion's attack brought results. He seems to be in quite some pain, and soon begins to run away Ruby follows him till the door of the barn, but then she let's him get away, as it would be too dangerous to follow him in the forest.

The girl turn around, to see her party members, and only Kal is there. The other probably logged out, but she doesn't care much and talks to the remaining one <Good job, he fled> Ruby sighs, finally calming down after the intense fight <He's gone in the forest. He's wounded, but still, going inside those woods when it's so dark... i don't think it wise> she goes up, and sits on the chair that made them skip time <We've protected the barn, so the quest should already be completed. If we want to track him, better wait till morning. He might heal himself, but if we finish the quest we'll level up, and so it will probably be easier to deal with him, don't you think?> she sighs again, thinking that it will be a while before morning comes <Do you think those chairs can make another time jump if we say...> little pause, and then she says aloud, hoping that they'll work again <Wait till morning!>

If it worked, first thing first she'll go the the fox, to receive her reward and the experience from the quest.

Kal listened to the Assassin, for the most part she agreed they had protected the barn but the boss running away felt scripted to her not that it mattered at the moment, though Kal doubted if the Quest would be truly classed as being done. "I don't think we've finished the Quest yet Ruby, yes we've chased away the wolf but it might come back tomorrow and continue the cycle once again, I think in the morning were going to need to track it back to it's lair." Kal was looking forward to doing that and she reckoned this would be confirmed by the fox man in the morning, what ever the case she sat in one of the chairs as aswell, "Wait till morning"

Seeing her health regen, Lulu smiles. Well, that's one less thing to worry about. With full health, there's no reason to go back to New Haven... until she sees that rewards and experience await her back there. When Arashi offers the helmet, Lulu takes it without a second thought and tries to equip it. She was taking WAY too much damage from those goblins for her tastes. "Sweet, thanks!" Then she looks at the uneven amount of coins. "Nah, you take it. I'm getting a helmet, so you should at least get the odd coin out. I agree with the policy in general though." Thinking a little, she decides to at least scout out the Quarry, maybe see if they should prepare a little more before jumping in. After all, they don't have any health potions or anything like that, so a battle worse than this would be terrible! "Yeah, let's at least scout it out. After that we can decide whether to go back and get some potions or something. Lead on." She says, once again trying to disguise the fact that she has a terrible since of direction.

"Sounds good." Moving on ahead with Lulu, the arcane knight was glad to see that she was enjoying the helmet. Arashi was smiling since the thought occurred that if they killed two more goblins each they could very well level up. Mostly because of the sheer fact that the goblins give two experience when they die and they didn't seem to share experience even in a party. So basically the person whom gets the last kill gets the experience for the monster slain. Maybe there is something they could loot along the way if they were icky but until they get to the Stone Quarry or pass along something else of interest there would be no way to know.

Daeva smiles for the first time since this whole mess started. One down, three more to go. One of four isn't much, but there's now hope that the fight can be won, or she could escape if she kills another one. Targetting another convenient goblin just like the last time, Daeva sends another blast of lightning at him, followed either by Ice Spike if she hits, as Fireball is on cooldown, or another dose of Sparkle Fingers if the goblin dodges.

Candy looks at the circle of stones, trying to recall what she does know of ritual sites from her occasional foray into Pagan history. She doesn't immediately notice anything, but then perhaps the game developers didn't base this off anything and just threw it together.

"Something tells me that if we stick around here, we'll get an encounter of some sort." She said to Karina though. At the very least, she was curious as to what purpose this ritual site held, and was willing to remain and try to investigate.

Yeah we probably would... That cave looks pretty interesting, maybe we should check that out. Karina looks over to Candy and equips all of her armor and weapons before pointing to the cave and walking over it, peering inside only to be greeted by darkness.

Candy blinks and looks over to the cave. "Huh...how did I not notice that sitting there. Must not have been paying attention..." Shaking her head in amusement she brought up her spell list again to give herself a refresher and said "Well, I've always wanted to go spelunking...let's go take a look inside."

Maximus
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Maximus swings at the goblin he had wounded earlier. However, as she swung this time, the second goblin charged him. He was still able to block him with his shield, but it did throw his attack off, just enough to miss his intended target. The second goblin then used this opportunity to stab him in the foot. Maximus felt some pain, but not nearly as much as he normally would. He did however, see his health bar go down by one point, 9/10. The goblin attacking his shield, then let out a cackling laugh, as he jumped back to attack again.
Maximus rolls a: 14
Goblin rolls a: 18
Goblin rolls a: 7

Arashi and Lulu:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Nothing else happens to the two a they make their way down the path. However, the blood on Lulu slowly evaporates, leaving her blood free. As they make their way down the road for several more minutes, they eventually see some flags in the air, and come closer to find a small camp set up outside of what looks like an old rock quarry. Once the two made their way to the camp, they were stopped by a wolf anthro in rather ostentatious gold armour. However, after he speaks to them, they recognize him as Mr. Silent, the owner of the game.
"Well hello, my friends. This here is my big ol' rock quarry, currently infested with bandits. The rules are simple. The dungeon is randomly generated for every party that comes here to complete the quest. You only get to complete the quest once, however you can try as many times as you like. You will both get a class special weapon or amour, once you complete the quest. But, be warned, this is a big dungeon and without a healer, it may take you guys some time to fully complete the quest. Though, since you guys don't have a healer, once you enter the dungeon, I'll give you an NPC healer, to heal you in between battles. However, he cannot attack, and if he gets taken out, you guys are out of luck."

Barn Battle:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Once Ruby and Kal sit down and wait till morning, the same time altering affect takes place. They see their health regenerate, though Rubys armor is still laying on the ground. The fox man who enlisted their help soon arrives, looking rather nervous, as he peeks his head in.
"Hello? Anyone in here? How did things go?"
He asks as he nervously walks into the barn, his tail all bushy, and wielding a pitchfork in his hands.

Davea:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Once the second goblin charges Daveana, he quickly jumps to the side and rolls, closing the distance between the two of them, as well as dodging her lightning attack. He then slashes at her with his dagger, slicing her dress a bit, as well as damaging her. Davea sees her health bar go down by two more points, as the goblin readies to attack her again. 5/10
you roll a: 13
Goblin rolls a: 17
She then sent out another zap of sparkle fingers to hit him in retaliation. This time he was too close to dodge her attack, and ended up taking the spell in the chest. The goblin fell back a little bit, before shaking the pain from his mind and readying his knife once more to attack.
You roll a: 17
Goblin rolls a: 1

Candy and Karina:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

the stones had markings and runes on them, but nothing that Candy could recognize. However, as Karina peaked into the cave, she could hear sounds deep within. The sounds appeared to be voices, but they were too far away for her to tell what kind of voices, and if they really were voices. Nothing else happens as the two look over the stones and the cave entrance.

Lulu breathes a sigh of relief as the blood coating her slowly evaporates rather than cooling down and becoming a miserable mess. She was worried about that and it's great to have an answer now. She wasn't sure just how many surprises the game had left for them, but seeing the game's head honcho in front of a dungeon decked in gold armor so flashy she has to wonder if it has any stats or if it's just for show. Still, mentioning that would be kind of rude, so instead she says, "Good to see they worked out the flea issue." It might not be the best thing to say, but it's gotta be true since he doesn't have paratrooper jumping from his nose this time around. As he goes on to explain what's going on here, Lulu starts thinking a bit.

If this is a big dungeon, then they can expect a lot of enemies. And if the company's head is giving them a NPC healer, then the bandits here are going to hit kinda hard. On the one hand, because they have the healer they can expect to survive more punishment than usual as long as they can keep him alive. They can also expect to rake in the EXP if there's going to be that many enemies in here, so that's nice. On the other, she's not sure how many of the enemy are capable of straight up one-shotting the cleric and leaving them up shit creek and she doesn't know what the respawn procedure is here. She could every well end up with nothing if she dies and have to backtrack here to get it back. Still, it seems like a fun enough risk.

"I'm willing to go for it if you are. Or did you wanna backtrack to New Haven and get the goodies for finishing the Goblin Hunt first? Actually, I kinda wanna do that. Get some Health Potions and stuff so that we're not completely reliant on the healer."
