I was thinking going with a cleric, however after reading the spell list i feel that would break the game, since all their spells tend to turn or rebuke undead
(Also i can't figure this how spells work for the life of me so there's that too)

Actually a Cleric would be a good choice. And No, it wont break the game xD It's just the first quest xD Cleric will add balance to the group. Since we have a fighter, a rogue, and a ranger. And you can only turn undead like a couple of times at first level anyways xD And I simplified the spells really. xP If you need help, I can set up your spells for you if you want. :3

If you need help let me know, and if that kitsune race doesn't do it for you I can convert a humanoid character for you into a werefox and you can just have him/her in a sort of constant hybrid form x3 And if you find it easier to just dump a PDF of a character sheet or something on me I will transfere the data to a sheet on myth weavers for all to see :3

Me friend Kal told me about this and, tell ye the truth, I'm intrigued and it's probably one of the only RPs on this forum that got me interested enough to stay on.
