“One.” With unanticipated speed, Kenji impales the nearest druid, catching him/it by surprise. In protest of its inglorious demise, the druid lets out an awful shriek that is reminiscent of a bat in a blender, you know, whatever that might sound like. As death took its icy hold, the druid carelessly threw its arms out wide, sending its weapon straight into the head of the druid unfortunate enough to catch it. “Two.” Lifting his foot, Kenji frees his weapon with a hard kick, and just in time too. “Three.” Kenji decapitated the third druid after sidestepping its very telegraphed attack. “Four.” One of the druids had tried to sneak up on him, but had failed its attack so poorly that Kenji was quick to put it out of its misery. There was one druid left, but rather than fight, it foolishly attempted to run. “Five.” Little did the druid know, throwing your sword always works. Kenji was a little surprised that he was able to throw his sword with such deadly accuracy, but like everything else that had just happened, he ultimately just shrugged it off. Whatever, or wherever this place was, it was doing something to him.
Looking around the temple, Kenji was careful to make sure that he had killed all of the druids before he would even consider letting his guard down. He may have been keeping count, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he was paying much attention, which is unusual for a life or death scenario. Once Kenji had retrieved his sword, he wiped it free of any blood using one of the dead druid’s robes. Suspecting that the contraption that they had rode in on would be his ticket out of here, Kenji approached the alter-like vehicle, slightly unsure what to make of it. "How the hell do I drive this thing?"
