Thank you for your interest :)

Right now there's nothing new to report, sorry. We'll keep you up to date once we advance the development process which, as I said before, is stalled at the moment for various reasons.

The stall is mainly my fault, it's hard for the other members to work on stuff without new character models, art or the dialog, lol, but I have so much on my plate right now it's hard to have a good chunk of time to create the mountains of stuff that needs to get made. Hopefully this week I'll be getting a new job as an in house concept artist so I don't have to chase down freelance to keep the heat going, lol.

I don't have much in the way of updates other then "I'll be getting back to work on the project soon"

happy even later new year! Lol... Things are starting to settle down for me and I'm officially a professional in the video game industry! Yay! So hopefully I will pick up a lot of techniques for actually making this game happen.

Not sure if the rest of the team is still interested in coming back to FML, seems everyone is extremely busy, but I am going to keep working because it's fun and I'm learning a lot. I'm focused mainly on writing right now and depending on Katsu's availability (he's a busy guy with school and I think he's not benefiting from a Flash project as much as his 3D work, which is really getting nice) I may start over with the programming and simplify the scope of the project. On the plus side there is a lot of art and writing already done and I'm getting faster all the time.

Personally I think cutting down the number of characters and simplifying the sex scenes (making the animation less intensive) and into something I will be able to handle alone. Sorry to disappoint everyone but it's either simplify or walk away at this point.

It’s good to hear from you goat it even more wonderful to hear you have found a job. I’m glad you still want to make the game I’ve been holding my breath all month waiting for everyone’s return. I would not jump to the conclusion that no one is coming back yet goat this project has risen from the dead more than once. But if it comes down to just you simplify if you need to I would much rather have something than see this wonderful project die for good this time.

Good luck with the new job and everything you look to do.

I am still working on it but not close to Alpha yet. I can't really put a time table on it because I'm not sure how much help I will have on the project. I'm trying to learn what I need to get it there but this us a side project I can only work on it when I have time.

@littleredrabbit: thanks for your support :) it does help keep me going knowing people are still interested.

That would be wonderful! I was actually just trying to figure out some of the key systems. The main thing I need help with is the inventory/shop set up. If you could help me figure out how to set that up that would be amazing! There are a bunch of other minigame ideas and things but if they don't come together it's not a problem. I have art done for all of the inventory screens and a mocked up shop as well as a player dressing area. I'm pretty fast with redesigns if you have any ideas for how it should be set up differently.

The game is built in AS2 so if you can help in that language I'd be greatful, but I could rebuild it in AS3 (I was thinking about it anyway.) much of the art is already done and the writing. The only systems in the game that matter is dialogue,inventory(buy/sell/give/equip), character creation, time and saving. I'm not much of a programmer but I've learned enough to read code and be able to elaborate on it. Katsu who started the project taught me a lot and he had most of it figured out when I came on board, the inventory was the last thing. I can send you the files if you'd like to take a look at them.

Sure, if you send me the files and give me an idea of what you need done I'll give it a try, although it might be a few days before I have a chance to look at it

I’m so happy to hear that you are still working on the project goat and Mr. Mouse you are my new hero (after Goat of cores) and if I knew where to find you two I would give you my home baked cookies.

Oh I’m so happy this just made my day.

Thought I have to ask Goat if you are going to keep giving us those lovely previews of our love interests? The once you did for our little sheep scientist and pop puddle are fantastic and I’m practically drooling hoping to see some of the boys.
