Candy shakes her head. "I don't think we can take her with us. Whitney certainly wouldn't let us back on the farm if she tagged along." At your question, she gives you a confused look, but when you glance at the collar, it seems to remind Candy about it's presence.

"Hey," She says, lightly slapping Nala's face to rouse her from her state. "Tell me about the collar."

"Y-Yes Mistress Candy..." She says, and when she says that you sense a flash of smug pride and a feeling of power flash through Candy's mind. "The collar is something that was conceived by a highly corrupted Goblin...it requires the one who wishes to use it to focus on themselves and themselves alone. It is then capable of being placed on another being...and it will influence their mind so that the owner of the collar becomes a supreme object of affection and desire. Strong emotional ties to others can mess with this though...as for what I'm sure your thinking about...I know of no way to remove it. They are made with the idea that those they are used on shall always belong to the collars owner."

Shandra shrugs her shoulders. It didn't matter much to her if Whitney wouldn't let them back on the farm - that idea didn't sound nearly so bad as being separated from Mistress. And leaving her behind didn't sound very appealing at all - she didn't want to be separated from her. And killing her sounded equally as bad to Shandra. "Are you sure we can't bring her along?" She knows that she has an equal say in their decision, yet she felt strange trying to talk as an equal with Mistress's mistress. Even as much as she loved Candy. "I can't think of what else to do with her..."

At the description of the collar, a frown crosses her face. So this collar is making her see Mistress as her mistress? Her mind is being forced? She knows that she should struggle against it, and she does build up a bit of resistance to it, yet it just feels like the right thing to do to see her as her Mistress. And she is disappointed as she hears that there was no way to get it off - Mistress or not, she has no attachments to the collar itself. "Maybe we can find a way to get this thing off?" she asks, looking between Candy and Mistress. "Would the goddess (Marae?) know how to get this off? Or maybe even Whitney?"
