I'm actually quite happy with the hood, though; that might not have been clear from my first post.

Alrighty, I'll keep the hood with him. :) I had a feeling yah liked the hood, but wasn't completely sure. *shrug*

When I was originally looking for the right head I had imagined him with the beard (possibly a badass chin puff or goatee), just not the 'stache, heh. If you want to, you can!

Phoenixcz Wrote:Mod 1 fits, maybe change sleeves to same color as pants? It's supposed to be only light vest, not full armor. Right bracer may be even smaller, if there's any such option which accepts "metal" color, I like darker green color on pants in that model too...maybe use color from mod 2 for leather parts (sorry for being a choosey bastard :D)

Like dis?

Luckily your friends aren't too far away (as I'm addressing in this post coming up), though whether they help you or not is up to them since you kinda abandoned them.

I'm still accepting characters who want to do a solo play outside of a group (Solo play is actually surprisingly easy since I don't have to track a dozen actions), but aside from a couple people who contacted me before I stopped accepting applications, "group" play is "reserve list" only. Mind you your character could potentially run into other characters, but solo folks are going to have it much rougher since they don't have anyone to watch their backs (or in many cases bums) but themselves.

I had a lot to write but... i kinda forgot xD

well, to summarize the important point, awesome images. Nothing less, only all the more. Awesome. So much awesomeness that i'm tempted to use them instead as the image in the appearance part of the CS XD

Ah, don't worry for the post, it was my fault for not being fast enough XD

Added in a couple pictures, working on one (maybe two) more for the current post and then I'm going to pass out for the evening. You guys are awesome!

Also, I'm sorry about the wall of text, Berserker!

Nah, but I should've gotten your portion up earlier today when I was focused! It's actually been sitting pretty much done for the last four hours, but I like to just respond to everything at once. >.<

EDIT: Also, I'm taking down the poll unless there's any opposition to such. I think I'm going to try (keyword try) to learn how to properly use ACAG/intimate suites for more than just the nude models in order to give you guys a better experience overall.

For those wondering how the combat system works, it's mostly "story-based" where when a creature catches you off-guard it's typically reflexes to avoid being grappled by it. Meanwhile, with things like bandits and more combat-oriented enemies, or when you actually catch them before they have a chance to act, you'll actually be fighting them and HP will come into play to an extent.

I'll just say now that some enemies "don't need to roll" or rather they get a large bonus when you try to fight them a certain way since that's how they trap their prey. Trying to crush a red slime with a hammer, for instance, is probably not a good idea.

In the new poll
  • Feywild refers to both feywild creatures and "magical beasts." Mostly plants/animals.
  • Undead refers to undead obvious (ew, but no good fantasy setting can go without undead so I'll have to add them eventually).
  • Humanoids (orcs/goblins/gnolls/etc.)
  • Devils/Demons (as the name implies)

I'm letting folks pick two and going with the most popular two to work on first.

If it takes me two weeks or more to respond to a RP without prior notice, send me a PM. It's more likely I've missed the last post, forgot or got distracted and need a little reminder rather than deciding to drop the game without warning.

I cast my vote for humanoids, since we've already got some of the "basics" up like slimes at what not. I don't know if this would be easier for you, but one thought that I had was to make new entries into the bestiary as they become relevant. Take undead for example, where we have the lone zombie entry. That first entry can be considered somewhat general knowledge, and is probably all we really need until we encounter other types of undead. When the players encounter new types of undead, then we can expand upon the bestiary, and consider it as being more privileged information for the seasoned adventurer in the active story thread.

I'll give it a shot in a little bit here, going to make a quick post for urhr

Actually while on the topic of the nwn models, there is a "larger bust" torso and "shaven" pelvis model if anyone would like those on their characters. Obviously neither shows up in armor so it's purely be a flavor thing for the occasional picture where you might be naked.

Reaver Wrote:Grape, do I include in my post, my raven returning or do you handle that?

Either way. I was just going to add a little tidbit about your raven landing on you when yah get outside. Up to you.

EDIT: Sorry Shura, your post didn't appear on my phone for some reason. >.<

Oh trust me, I'm only including "generally known monsters" to people in the wastes at the moment into the bestiary since it's more of a reference guide, and even a number of those monsters that are found elsewhere in the world are different in their own ways. There's actually a lot more information about individual slimes and whatnot that I didn't include, and only a select few people (such as Elspeth/Rayle when she gets a chance to read her bestiary) have that information right now.

That's quite alright. I'm a newbie, so my posts need to be approved before they show up. I suspect that may have had something to do with it. Anyhow, it seems like you've got a pretty expansive world set up for the rp, so that's cool.

I'll see what I can do here.

How do those look? I could plot in something that juts out more like an arm guard for bows, or gauntlets if you'd prefer that?

The braces look great! That was exactly what I was hoping for, Thank you!

Not sure about the sleeves though, if its not too much trouble could I request a side by side comparison of Triana with and without the braces to see how both look next to each other? And I really like the scenes you've made in the rp thread, awesome work!

So I guess I was really vague about that whole thing. The "religion restrictions" of the more exotic races are less for the average worshiper and more for priests and priestesses. Those races wouldn't be very inclined to worshiping another deity to the level of dedication of a holy warrior or clergy member. An Orc for instance could worship Radamis, but he could not be a holy warrior of Radamis in terms of dedication. Exotic races might pay tribute to a different patron deity, but they will never feel 100% certain with that deity's viewpoints of the world. Elves would not agree with the war-like nature of Rastan nor the scholarly pursuits of Radamis' scribes. Most of the general populace has a "patron deity" that they pay homage to, but few are at the level of dedication of a clergy member. Take Myrdur for instance. The mercenary guild and a number of soldiers pay homage to Myrdur for good fortune in battle against their foes, and chastity is required until marriage (or how alcohol is only supposed to be ingested in times of need such as before a giant battle or when there is no water available), but few Myrdurans follow this philosophy in practice unless they happen to be clergy/holy warriors. Similarly, not all clergy members are necessarily able to use divine magic. Some (such as Radamis' scribes) are in fact devoid of magical prowess.

As a side note as I happened across it by accident...

Yeah, that'll do it. There's plenty of cool things around the site if you're looking to take a gander around for something interesting to post in (creative corner's non-flash section is my usual hiding spot), and it looks like you're only one post away from no longer needing moderation!

GM Roll; Contraception vs. last injection- 17 - 4(Human) = 13! ;)

Yeeeeeaaaaah... People are going to find out quickly that many of the plants and animals that it would seem are incompatible with humans in fact are due to Irilin's taint...

I have an evil streak from time to time, as much as I try to not show it.

Working on getting some posts up, then I'll work with the models some more and see what I can do, you two. Judging just by the initial poll results, I'll be working on getting humanoids up next.

Uhhh... Berserk? There's multiple "limbs" on that thing. If you want to go through with that action you can, but I was kinda implying that if she doesn't kill the thing/get away from it, it was just going to use another limb to get back into her, as fair warning since she'd likely realize this. I need to see Elenwe and Shura's reactions (or rather if they plan to go help) given that new revelation of theirs before I respond any further to that scene. Consider it an official "I'm giving you the option to retcon that action if you'd like."

The bulge was caused by how deep the vine was/how it was pressing against her.

The others would've heard the initial screams still before she stuffed Mr. Vine into her mouth though in case the two of 'em are curious about that*

As a side note for Urhr for future reference; The misc bonus will help during things like saves, certain types of resistance, and skills in some cases, but it won't necessarily help in combat. With combat you're almost acting on raw instinct and while you can know that the best idea is to aim for the throat, things can become unpredictable in a heartbeat and such (E.G. Letting a rogue get a +3/+4 bonus to combat is way too bitchin').

I know that from all that reasoning she won't get any bonuses XD what i wrote was just the logic, planning and, in future combats, the tactics that she uses. Being a rogue and not a fighter, she can't just hurl herself against her enemies, if she wants to survives she has to use her head XD well, in "using her head" i mean it in a abstract way, and maybe sometimes in a headbutt way, and not in a more... lewd way XD at least for now XD

In short, i wrote that not for the misc bonus, but rather to explain better the mechanics of what she's doing and why she's doing it like that. Obviously if that reasoning rings some bells it's your call, but that's not my main objective (well, at least not my main trololol)
