Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The perks of Ruby are:

Ninja- acrobatic talent. Always active

Hawk Eye- Analyze the stats and substats of possible enemies prior to engaging combat. Always active.

Spidey Senses- feel the presence of an enemy near you. Always active.

While crouching, Ruby listen to the words of the "robbers", and what she heard made it quite clear that it wasn't a robbery as she first assumed. Instead, it seemed like they were searching for someone, and surely not with good intentions. She sighs, annoyed for having to be in such a situation not long after coming into this city, but for now she's still calm. Or at least, she is calm until the bartender face is blown away, and the situation takes a turn for the worse. Knowing that soon FEDRA will be coming after them, they promptly begin to take hostages and, as luck would want, Ruby is one of them.

The one who takes her makes some remarks, but he's completely ignored as she's intent on seeking the best way to get the hell out of there. Fighting with them is not an option since it's too dangerous, as the situation is highly unfavorable to her, and it's not sure that she would be rewarded for taking them down. Too much risks and too little possibility of rewards. Instead, waiting for the right opportunity to strike the one holding her and running away seems to be a better choice, and it would be the easier too. That's because the "robbers that are not robbers", as she's calling them now in her head, right now under the assumption of having the upper hand over the hostages, are probably mostly concerned with the incoming FEDRAs, and to prove this guess if the fact that not only they didn't search her for weapons, but they also ignored the katana strapped on her back. They probably thought that with their guns they could kill her even while she's unsheathing her weapon, so no point in taking it away. Also, having that blade on her back, they probably assumed that she doesn't have other weapons.
But that's too bad for them, as not only she's hiding a Kris dagger and a handgun in her belt around her hip, but also her katana is not a katana, but a dual kodaichi, and of those two the hilt of the first is the hilt of the presumed katana, while the hilt of the second coincides with the lower end of the scabbard, disguised as a normal end of a scabbard, and so is beyond suspicion of being the hilt of a weapon, and so even if grabbed they wouldn't probably give it much thought.

Anyway, she continues to follow them, waiting for a good chance, and that would probably be when the FEDRA's men arrive. If there are no pursuers and it seems that they think to be safe, she'll start to act when she thinks the time is right, but for now it's better to wait...

She wa already supicious about his man. He definitely gave off a strange vibe. She was about to dive head first into a situation like this without understanding the consequences.

(Don't get too excited. I just didn't have much to do today.)

Nobudi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

During their brief walk to the club, the town seemed to eradicate itself until the three of them were the only ones in sight. The echo of a fired gun made all three of them swivel their heads, then Lydia almost jumped as a fit thirty-something man passed uncomfortably close to Ravina and seemed to be in quite a hurry. Lydia was frozen: she didn't want to go the club but didn't want to go back, as that noise seemed awfully close. Ravina then decided to check out hat was going on where the sound came from, and that the other two should go on without her. As Ravina was walking away, Lydia seemed to go into a panic attack and collapsed on the ground, leaving the two vulnerable to an attack.

Sticka:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With a tongue of gold, Jenny asked the man "you can trust me. Why do you really want me to do this?" He looked around briefly then told her "Fine: I'm undercover, weeding out the criminals who think it's ok to simply prance under the walls that keep us safe. They're there for a reason, you know?" Jenny, of course, could always rat him out to the other shopkeepers, but that wouldn't bode well for her, as this man was an agent of the government.

Ellie:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

She rolled her eyes at his question. She had been blissfully daydreaming until he cut her away and threw her back down into the real world. "It's um... Kind of hard to explain. Can we talk about something else? " Or, better yet, she thought, talk about nothing at all.

urhr:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

After barging into two other stores unsuccessfully, the men freeze once outside, confronted with a squad of FEDRA agent. Ruby was grabbed and a gun put to her temple before she could react. "We're only here for one woman," one of her oppressors shouted to the agents. "Hand her over and we'll leave."

hazard:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Sam's tears streamed down her face as the infected made her air-tight; her holes filled completely and desperately gasping for air between violent thrusts down her throat. To her relief, she saw shadows gathering and moving around above her. It was tough to see behind the runner's hips, but she saw a group of soldiers clamboring through the windows at the top of the storehouse, then standing on top of the crates, looking at the scene unfolding below.

crimson:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Bullshit!" screamed the soldier as Donovan gave hi perfectly legitimate excuse. He felt a hard knock on the back of his head and fell to the ground, unconscious.
Clearly, the soldier was antsy after seeing his dead friend. But, luckily for Donovan, he was perceived as dead by the five men who tore through all the other guards in the building while he was only unconscious. When he awoke, blood and corpses were all there was to greet him.

Ruby let the robbers do their thing, dragging her along in other stores in their attempt to find their target, but unfortunately for them they have no success. And if that is not enough, the FEDRA agents arrive. The situation would be mildly good for Ruby at this point, if not for the gun readily pointed at her head, that force her to stay put... at least for the moment.
The men demand a woman from the agents, but the situation is not exactly one where she can leisurely listen to their blabbering, and so Ruby doesn't give much attention to it. She just hear the main points, and in the meantime focus on the movements of the robbers so that, at the minimum sign of an opening, she would try to run away.

How? Simply by drawing the lower kodachi, the one disguised as the lower end of the scabbard of the katana, and slashing at the hand of the robber that holds the gun. After that, depending on the situation, she would try to simply run away or, if the situation is more dire, she'll use the robber holding her as a human shield (even if it means continuing with her attack and killing him as swiftly as possible before doing so). The plan should be easier as the robbers are probably more focused on the FEDRA agents, and they wouldn't even expect an attack as both her hands doesn't seems to be near weapons.

Sam struggled when she saw the soldiers and looked at them pleading. She tried to break loose of the horde of creatures that was currently sandwiching her so the soldiers would have a clear shot at the monsters.

He cursed silently at the sight behind him, as well as the splitting headache he was feeling and slowly got to his feet, giving himself a pat-down to make sure that he hadn't been robbed while unconscious. Finding nothing missing, he let out a soft sigh and proceeded with Rule 2 of Karl's Survival Rules, Scavenge and Rule 5, Double Tap.

He moved from body to body, taking what he deemed useful and valuable such as weapons, ammunition, food, drink, lights and batteries from each body before stabbing his knife through the side of their heads before taking inventory of his spoils and listened out for any noise as per Rule 6 - 'Keep Silent, If your so quiet you can hear a mouse fart, you can hear something trying to sneak up on ya'

Eden gritted her teeth as he whipped out her pistol.
"Move!" she growled at the girl, grabbing her arm and dragging her into a position of cover away from where the sounds of gunshots were emanating from.

"I can understand that" she said nodding her head, " Ill keep my mouth shut about this. I may be a simple merchant but are there any ways i can help? Gathering intel or just general scouting? Because i need things to kickstart my store." She said looking at him hopeful that he had work to offer.

Ellie:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

At the mention of Riley, Ellie pulled her gun on him and aimed it directly at his face. "Would you just shut the fuck up already? God dammit man, give it a rest." She realized, after her outburst, that it was an overreaction, and began to put her gun back in its holster.

Sticka:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As if on cue, after she asked him this question, a FEDRA soldier jumped up behind him and shouted almost super-humanly loudly, "Everybody! Come with me! Tourists are attacking the settlement! Avoid the slums and the main road at all costs! They've already killed the guards in the watchtower, and we fear that there may be a sedition coming from the poorer areas of town." The shady merchant motioned for Jessy to follow him. "We're going to help FEDRA, but I don't want to break cover." Soon, you arrived at the slums where all hell was about to break loose. A group of thugs could be seen with hostages while scores of FEDRA weapons stared them in the face. Meanwhile, what looked like the rebel group was gearing up for an all-out war against FEDRA. But the two of you just pranced right in amidst the chaos. One young rebel boy threw rifles at the two of you, barking orders, "grab these and follow Hamilton, right there, to get your injections." The merchant looked at her with an interesting look on his face; it seemed that he had no idea what injections they were about to receive either. After following this Hamilton character, the two of you receive syringes filled with a translucent liquid. However, you can see that the liquid you received has been diluted with water, and originated from a vial with a biohazard symbol on it. What the hell was in this?

Nobudi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When Eden picked her head up to move forward, she saw why Lydia had collapsed. There, not more than two feet in front of her, was the supposed man, John. He fit the description: tall, fit, clean, and had an aura of arrogance about him. "Hello Lydia," he whispered. Eden noticed too late that he had been pointing his pistol, Maria, at the collapsed woman, and shot her through the brain. Her skull imploded into shattered bone and mushed brain matter.

Crimson:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

He was able to find a 4 9mm pistols that was issued to all the guards with 24 rounds total. He continued outside and saw that the settlement was spiraling into a nightmare. Gunfire could be heard from the opposite side of town and guards were moving citizens into shelter while forming barricades. He was still moving silently, however, so when a clicker shuddered past him, he was left unnoticed. How did the infected get inside the walls? Donovan looked to where the clicker was heading to find it seconds away from rending the flesh from an innocent FEDRA agent looking the other way.

Hazard:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When she readjusted herself to the best of her ability, she realized that these were not FEDRA soldiers, but the rebels that she'd met earlier. The man she'd previously talked to was there too, standing over the unfolding scene and took his time making a decision, relishing in her domination by the powerful monsters. Finally, he gave the order to fire, and the infected were obliterated, but not without a parting gift to Sam. As they died, they unleashed all the cum trapped within them, drenching her from head to toe, both inside and out, with thick infected cum. The rebels, both men and women, jumped down onto the ground from the boxes above, carefully treading around the dead bodies of the infected. They efficiently gathered the supplies from the warehouse, while the leader came to talk to Sam. "You owe us your life. You can have what I promised you for completing your mission- although you did a terrible job- but you must help us in our fight." He stared down at her uncovered breasts and cum-drench body, and seemed to smile a bit. "Besides, you don't have much else to do, no? The virus has surely already spread to your brain and you'll die withing a few hours." He did not know that she was immune.

urhr:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ruby cut off his hand, and his reaction was quite unusual. Instead of screaming, he opened his mouth but nothing came out. He collapsed to his knees, and nobody noticed, so Ruby slowly began to back away from the criminals. As she was backing up, she realized that the group of outlaws was slowly shimmying towards the nearest ally to make an escape with the hostages, who they would surely kill once they got there.

Sam panted choking on some of the thick cum the monsters had covered her in. She blinked her eyes open wiping away the seed left over them. When she saw the same man she had met earlier she got a little angry. After all if he could have brought all his men here in the first place why didn't he just retrieve them like this? "I'm fine..." She said getting onto her hands and knees listening to his recruitment speech. "Yeah sure... what could you possibly have for a dying woman?" She asked looking for something to wipe herself clean with and then a new pair of clothing.

Her action indeed brought results, but what followed she didn't expect what followed. Once her captor hand was cut, the man just collapsed with his mouth open, just like if his soul was sucked out, and his friend didn't even notice, giving Ruby the chance to sneak away, but while doing so she looked back and saw what was happening.
Well, it's not her business, so her priority is still finding a place where she can hide and, maybe, see what's going on from a safe place. Once she's somewhere where the "robbers" couldn't do anything to her even if they shoot, if she can she'll look to see what's going on, if there is still something going on, and will proceeds as follow.

The life of the hostages has nothing to do with her, and even if she intervenes directly it's not sure that they'll be safe. If things go wrong, the FEDRA might think that she's with them, and even if it's not like that, they will at least take her in for questions about the "robbers", and that's not something she would like.
On the other hand, the men took her hostage and gave her unpleasant comments. Yes, they messed with her, and that's not something she would leave alone... usually. Yes, if FEDRA was not around, she would probably try to at least hinder them. But FEDRA's agent were there, and this was the very first day she was in this city, meaning not only that she doesn't completely know the streets, but also that she still doesn't have a place to sleep and a way to feed herself.
Yes, she would like to shoot a pair of bullets against them, but the situation doesn't exactly entice her, because even if she plays hero and supposedly save the hostages, if she's taken in for questioning then she'll probably lose the rest of the day. It's not impossible that they could give her some type of reward for her action, but she doesn't want to bet her night on something unsure.

And so she turns and goes her way, leaving the role of hero and the fate of the hostages to the FEDRA's agents. This time her destination are the slums, searching two things: a places to sleep for when the night will come, and work. Information instead of work could also be ok. About the place to sleep, it's true that she's naive, but she still knows that with what she has finding a place to sleep in another part of the city will be extremely hard, and so the best chance to find a cheap place is in the slums, even if said place could be about to crumble.

Narrowing his eyes, he pocketed one of the pistols, placing the other 3 into his bag. He could always trade them for supplies to other survivors at a later date. As the clicker passed him, Don froze, hugging the wall tightly with his breath held as his eyes followed the Clicker.

He cursed mentally when he figured out where the once female thing was heading and made a snap decision. Carry on with his sneaking and let the guy be killed/raped, or be an idiot and go save the guy, most likely resulting in injury. Plus there was also the factor that the FEDRA's guards had knocked him out for finding a knife, something everyone should have in this climate.

With that in mind, Don made the decision to sat screw you to the FEDRA and continued to try and sneak away, leaving him to his fate

PM me if you have any questions, otherwise just take up where Sticka left off if you're feeling kind. Crimson:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(ooc: never said it was female  )
Donovan turned his head away once the screams began. He managed to duck behind a nearby concrete slab, waist-high, to which he leaned against sitting down and checked his supplies. Before the cries subsided, shots were fired, into what he assumed were the FEDRA agent and the clicker. Before he got up to continue moving, however, he saw the breach- what looked to be an artificial hole in an entrance to the sewer must have been what allowed the infected to get in. He could always investigate this, or continue on to the gunfire. In addition, sneaking around wasn't necessary anymore, as the guards that accused him of being a criminal were dead in the guard house. On the other hand, FEDRA agents would try to corral him into shelter with the others if he were seen.

urhr:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ruby managed to escape the criminals, and left the other hostages to die. After she'd turned the corner behind the nearest building, she heard synchronized gunfire, which could only mean one thing. The sound of scores of FEDRA agents running after the criminals confirmed her deduction.
Once she got to the slums, she realized how much the settlement had spiraled into anarchy. Nearly every man, woman, and child was armed and digging into the area for what could only be assumed to be an imminent fight. But against whom? FEDRA?
Amid the chaos, Ruby walked right behind their lines without anybody taking notice. It seemed that because she wasn't wearing FEDRA garb, they accepted her as their own. One young rebel boy threw a rifle at her, barking orders, "grab this and follow Hamilton, right there, to get your injection." After following this Hamilton character, she received a syringe filled with a translucent liquid. However, she can see that the liquid has been diluted with water, and originated from a vial with a biohazard symbol on it, in the tent behind where they handed her the syringe. What the hell was in this?

hazard:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

He gave her a devilish grin and motioned for her to follow him, without allowing her to clean up or get new clothes, despite the fact that she was a walking virus-spreader. Bad form mate.
Once the two of them arrived back at the slums, he handed her a syringe filled with a clear liquid. "Take this when we give the order to. Not before, not after, but exactly on the mark. Is that clear?" His tone told her that these rebels would kill her if she did not comply. Looking around, she saw the entire force preparing for war, digging into the area for protection and setting up barricades. In addition, it seemed that everybody else was getting these syringes. He added, "I cant tell you what it is, but it won't kill you. You must trust us. It isn't like you have much else of a choice though, is it?"

Leaving the hostages's lives to the FEDRA agents Ruby goes away, ignoring the gunfire behind her and going her way, directed to the slums, but... things are different from what she expected. Everyone was armed and ready to fight against... who? Could it be that soon there would be an horde of infected ready to destroy this city, like it happened in her previous town? She begins to worry a bit. She's just arrived, how could she already have to flee and find another place to live? Yes, that would be really worrying... but that doesn't seems to be the case. More than infected, those slum people seems to want to fight against normal people... FEDRA's people, to be precise, as they just counted her as one of them when they saw what she was wearing. A young boy gives her a rifle and begins to spout orders, something that she doesn't like, but for now will follow to understand what's happening. Not much later she meets this Hamilton and is given a strange syringe, apparently filled with something originated from a questionable origin.

Once she's given the syringe, Ruby begin to take some distance from all the crowd and, once she's sure that nobody is looking, she hides in the first apparent place she can find. Having gotten a rifle is good and all, but if she doesn't know what's inside that syringe, she won't absolutely use it. For now she'll hide and see how things goes, especially the effect of the syringe, and then she'll decide what to do.
