His eyes quickly darted towards the Khajiit woman drinking with the thugs, keeping an ear open to their conversation as he turned his eyes towards the two women before him "Of course, such beauties should not be thirsty" He purred in the gravelly voice of his race as his eyes changed between the curvy elfen woman and the female Orc. He didn't mind the company of either race. He'd found from past experience that both races had their pluses. Elven women were always so sensitive and loved the feeling of his sharp teeth gently grazing their pointed ears in bed, while Orcish women, due to the strength of their race, always had such...'tight' bodies and loved fingers working the tense muscles of their back and shoulders. That and despite the tusks, they were surprisingly good with their mouths

Putting a few of his 'borrowed' gold pieces onto the table, he purchased a round of drinks, one for himself and two for the elven girl and her orcish friend, curious as to how the night would take them

No one notices you walking to the pouch and picking it up. Upon grabbing the pouch you can tell its gold only by its weight, Glancing around about to pocket the money for yourself you notice the High elf is staring intently at you. He looked as if he was happy such an unfortunate event had occurred to the vindictive imperial.

In response to your question the man speaks quietly "Well according to some of the guardsmen there have been three men going around kidnapping women, And i think i might know where their hideout is" Looking left to right to ensure no one was listening he continued " If we were to capture them we could surely get a huge reward from the guard!" But what he didnt notice was that there was a strongly built argonian in the corner of the room that seemed as if he was watch your groups every move. all the while you listened to the man your vision blurred slightly as if there were two of the man.

You purchase the women's drinks at the cost of 14 gold coins and take your seat between the two beauties. The elven girl was carrying on a conversation with you and rubbing her soft silken hands over your chest while you drank the drink you had bought earlier "That potion he gave me had changed my life" You could hear her say as she finished some unimportant story. Oddly enough it was the orsimer woman to your left that was sitting quietly sipping on her drink, she was obviously uncomfortable. The khajit woman seemed as if she was extremely drunk as she swayed in her stool. You saw the man whisper into the felines ear but you couldnt catch the exchange due to the noise generated by the other people in the Tavern

Caslandra gave the man a quick smile, then darted off into the darkness. Although it seemed as though the man wouldn't be calling over the guards anytime soon, cynical Caslandra wouldn't take any chances. She made her way towards the mages' guild to ask about her ring before it got too dark.

Upon arriving at the guild hall it began to rain, as the rain began to fall lighting stuck out lighting up the night. With the rain falling flat against your exposed body and your soft skin you decide now would be the best time to go inside. Looking to the front doors of the hall you approach them warily and open them stepping inside from the rain. As you as you step in you can feel the blast of warmth from the halls fire places scattered about the building. There were many wizards and mages bustling across the open floor going in and out of various numbers of nondescript doors and all of them looking quiet busy. There were two massive stair cases on the far end of the room convening at the middle in which there was a door against the wall and a outcropped veranda over looking the entire floor. there were two rooms to your immediate left and right. it seemed as if there was an apothecary to the left and the mage's shop to the right, And there were two large double doors farther in front below the veranda. You had no idea where you might go first to get the ring and the parchment appraised, you best try to flag someone important looking down before you get kicked out for loitering and not being a mage. Mages were well known to be stuck up and elitists among others with little magical talent.

The fact that the man currently trying to get into the Khajiit's pants was looking around was more then enough to invoke the curiosity of the Argonian. He dropped a hand to his legs, resting a palm on his thigh, mere inches away from his new copper dagger in case things turned nasty. He often learned that bar-rooms could turn like the snap of a finger, so he wanted to feel at least a little prepared just in case. He chuckled at the elven girl's story, he hadn't really been listening, his eyes roaming the figure of both women. Noticing the silence of the orcish woman, he turned his eyes to her and raised a thin eyebrow "Whatever is the matter plaguing such an emerald beauty?" he purred at her, the same seductive smirk on his face as he smiled at her

With no better ideas, Caslandra took the door on the right into the mage's shop. Hopefully the vendor inside could point her in the right direction, as she only wanted to have something appraised. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle, she thought. But mages were, indeed, obnoxiously elitist.

Alright, so... he was outside. And possibly maybe perhaps missing the biggest party of his life. Zanik looked around, first at the village and the road he came from, then at the forest lying in front of him. It was early enough to be dark still, but he could make out enough outlines of the village to know he was in fact at the edge. Which meant fleeing back the way he came would be a hassle. And he hated hassles.

Instead he turned around and tossed a glance through the trees leading up north. 'Alright, so no magicka means no fancy magic stuff to defend me. No weapons means no fancy fencing stuff to defend me. And being out of shape as I am means no pugilism to defend me. What could possibly go wrong?'

His mind made up, his meager possessions packed and with little to lose he made his way through the treeline and into the forest. He did not know the name of the group of shrubberies in these parts, which could very well hold suspicious or ominous names like 'black forest' or 'misty forest' or 'place where all the vampires drag their victims off towards'. Yes, perhaps it was better that he didn't know.

He started humming a tune and continued his way north.

Even with your hospitality and warm comforting smile the orsimer woman glanced at you and got up and left the bar. Her elven friend astonished at her rude behavior got up to chase after her shouting at her to come back and keep the "Nice man" company, Leaving you alone in your own table with 3 drinks and two empty chairs. Strange, not many orsimer women were as.. Shy shall we say as this one was. It was almost unnatural you think to yourself, But you think nothing of it. You could go chase the two down but that would mean leaving the tipsy Khajjit youve had your eye on the entire night.

Walking farther into the woods seemed as if it was a stupid idea especially after crossing paths with a few skulls on a pike, Yet after a few hours of walking aimlessly and coming to uncross-able rivers you arrive at a camp. There were two tents a fire pit with a cooking pot overhanging the pit and a few stools surrounding the fire pit. The camp was well hidden behind a hillside so a fire would surely go unnoticed but it also seemed that the camp was long abandoned but there were a few cloth sack spread across the camp that still seemed to have contents inside them.

"Umm... Excuse me? Anybody here?" Caslandra called, hoping for an answer. There must be somebody nearby; she just had to find him/her. If she couldn't find anybody in the shop, she'd check the apothecary.

((Sorry for disappearing, I've been away from my computer.))

Khyt'ti tilted her head at his words. Three men kidnapping woman. For some reason that triggered alarm bells in her head. Yet if she were to get up she would surely find herself falling over. So it would seem that she was at the mercy of these rough men unless someone else interfered. A look of alarm crossed her face for a second or two before she managed to smooth it out. "Wha *hic* do yeh plan on doing aboush it?"

He raised an eyebrow at the sudden departure of the two women he had been entertaining, though he didn't rise to follow them. He didn't understand the reason for the Orcish woman's sudden departure, but he intended to find out what would happen with the Khajiit woman, taking a small sip of his drink. He guessed that the two women often came to this tavern, so he would try and find out tommorow after his meeting at the docks and after he sorted things out with the 4 across the bar

At your call a creepy old imperial comes lurking out of the darkness, odd no mage was that good at blending in with the shadows without alteration magicks. Regardless you decide to ignore it and get to the matter at hand. The man walks up to the counter where the lights of the fungi and plants on the shelves illuminate his appearance. The imperial looks as if he hasnt had sleep in weeks, with the wrinkles piling up around his face and his eyes had the distinct sagging of a man without rest, and brown somber robes cover his body. The imperial noticing you taking in his appearance says sharply "Its rude to stare young lady, you elves may live longer than us imperials but i recoginze when a youngling when they waltz into my store willy nilly feeling free to shout about as if the place were her own!" giving you a dinstinctly disdainful look he asks "What bussiness have you here in my place of bussiness?"

"Well the man said quietly if we happen to go capture said fellows then surely the gaurdsman would pay us hefty rewards, imagine all the alchohol and jewels you could ever want could be yours" The man says with a grin of malice on his face. His companions get up from their seats and begin to encircle you, they grab you gently by the arms and help you up out of yours seat. " Come well help you out" he says as he follows close behind. You can hear the sound of his voice fade away slowly as you shut your eyes passing out, the last feeling you remember is the rough floor begin dragged across your feet. Fading in and out of consiousness you catch glimpses of the city in its darkened state, there was the breif sight of a store, and then at one point something reached your keen nostrils, something salty. This was the true last thing you remember before you passed out for good.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You still needed to meet up with your cowardly kinsmen by the docks at some point in time. Then there were those two shapely ladies from which you had just met. Yes they were quiet lovely you would definantly have to stop by again tommorrow night to see if you could find them again. Still there was the question of where to find Ja'ree he was supposedly here in the imperial city but with so much going on here your only lead was that man you saved in the alleyway, yes this was going to be a task indeed. With so much to do on your mind you almost miss the three men dragging out the khajitt from the bar, she seemed as if she was passed out, if you hurried after them you might be able to catch up to them before they disappear into the night.

Zues

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Awaking in the forest there was naught a living soul around you that you could detect, that was odd because just the night before you had been sleeping comfortably in your tent within the legion camp, standing up you seem to find yourself completely naked with the exception of a loin cloth, all your belongings, your gold, your Armour, and your weapons were all gone! "Who did this?" you think to yourself Picking up a large staff like stick next to where your dormant body used to lay you take in your surroundings. you were in a clearing where the camp had once been, it seems they had left without you... But why? The imperial legion is not one to leave its comrades behind.. With the pace that they march at there's no way you could possibly catch up them even if you knew where they were going, such knowledge was not given to a basic legionnaire like yourself. What would you do from here?

Jamgon looks around. Surprised to be alone in the forest, he holds his stick in case any creatures attempt to attack him.

He looks down. His green body is covered in dirt from laying on the hard ground. How come he remembers falling asleep on a bedroll with the rest of the legion? Is he such a deep sleeper that someone could dump him onto the ground without waking him up? Jamgon's stomach growls. It seems these questions should wait for later. Right now, it's time to find food and water, then follow a river until he can find a city. He walks straight, looking for edible tubers and listening for running streams.

As he wanders, he keeps tight hold on the thick stick. The large piece of wood and his loincloth are his only possessions, and they're not much to defend against wolves or bandits. He hopes to find a town soon to earn some coin and buy some clothes and a real weapon.

"I was hoping, sir, that you or somebody else here would be able to appraise this ring I found." Pulling out the ring, she showed it to the man, hoping that he would tell her its worth and purpose so that she could leave this rotten building and get back to the world.

Making your way through the dense forest was a difficult effort the branches scratch your bare olive body as you push the plants out of your way still carrying the large blunted stick you found at your original location. Eventually you came to arrive at a clearing where there was a small pool of water and there was even a few berry bushes growing next to it but what truly caught your attention was the glowing plant that grew nearby there was but one of them. Thoug it seemed to emit a strange monotone sound that pierced your consciousness.

The man snatches the ring from your hand and peers at the inside. It seemed there was an inscription on the inside. "I dont have the slightest idea what in the name of the divine this ring says on the inside" The old man said " But even a orc could tell that this ring had invisibility enchantments on it" The man says tossing it back to you and leaving the room. Strange.. What might the inside of the ring say you thought to yourself.

(ooc- totally missed the post. Thought the rp was cancelled! Yay! It's not!)

Caslandra gave a thankful smile and put the ring in a pocket to be used later if she needed it. She counted up the gold she had and decided that she'd need somewhere to sleep, not only for tonight, but for future nights as well. Without any better ideas, she asked him "do you have any idea where I can find a place to sleep for the night?" As she did so, she remembered that she could somehow read the Falmer language, as evidenced by the note from the pastry shop. Taking the ring in one hand, she examined its interior, hoping that she could deduce what it said.

Walking up to the plant in curiosity, Jamgon feels compelled to examine the odd plant. Taking a small part of the leaf into his mouth, he recoils at the bitter flavor. Not knowing what it is, he spits out the leaf and walks over to the berry bush.

Picking a few of the light pink berries, he tastes them only to find that they're bitter as well! "Urgh! Why is everything bitter?" he shouts in his deep voice, stomping over to the pool and drinking a few handfuls of water.

Tired and hungry, Jamgon lays down his stick and sits against a tree in the clearing. Letting the sun fall on him as he sits there, he rests his mind from the confusing morning. As he lies there, his eyes are drawn back to the glowing plant. "Well, it's glowing... Maybe I could sell it to an alchemist." he says, and he walks over to it and picks it. Not having a pouch to put it in, he awkwardly holds it in his left hand. "Hmm..." he murmurs, wondering how to carry the strange glowing root without having to constantly hold onto it. He eventually decides to tie it to the top of his stick; hopefully nothing would attack him, but if it did he can always take the root off the top or let it fly as he swings.

With nothing else to do there, he continues to walk, keeping his ears perked for any flowing water.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With your stick in hand and a oddly glowing plant hanging by the end you venture back into the wilds, you definitely needed to find a pack of some kind. The lack of such basic supplies was actually amazing due to the sheer inconvenience of having to hold something unnecessary as a plant but maybe you can sell it to the alchemist for something actually VALUABLE to a soldier like yourself.
After walking from an even longer period of time than before you come to a simple street which ran over some rocks and even dropped down farther to what you think is the south into a miniature waterfall. While watching the water flow and listening to the sounds of the water babbling over the rocks you notice something strange... The water had a certain.. discoloration to it a strange mix of red and purple the ambiguous colors were definitely not there before so they therefore must have come from up street, looking to the "north" or what you perceive as north in your mind you notice that it is a small sloping hill so you cannot see where the strange dyes came from unless you decided to travel there, but then again there was that miniature waterfall the opposite direction, what could be down that way you wondered.
