Well, there's a reason I didn't do that straight away, and I know it'll sound ridiculous, but... what if some young kid stumbles on it? I not gonna deny that I looked at porn all the time when I was younger, and still do, but I kinda like the idea of a final wall between innocence and perversion, just in case.

I dunno, call me crazy.

If I was to put some kind of sex scene in the preloader, it would probably be along with the disclaimer in the frame following the "play" button.

Nah I don't think you're crazy, you've got a very good point.

Personally I'd probably like to see a few Nintendo girls in sexy outfits and maybe sexy positions but without any actual nudity so then it won't be upfront porn but you'll get the idea that you're loading a porn game/animation.

I agree, this is a good point. My first encounter with flash hentai was actually cum pre-loader on NG a little under nine or ten years ago. And to think, I was scrolling through the new releases, looking for something funny to watch.

And on that note. Holy hell is AS3 and CS5 a pain to get an internal preloader working. I'm using a DocumentClass and was fighting for quite some time to get code running before 100% loaded. I ended up using basically 0 of your code though and had to use a class someone else made externally (if curious.. its from here). It was really finicky to get working - but its working perfectly now. Theres lots of tutorials out there, but they all seem to leave out the most important stuff that actually makes things work. The key (at least in my case) to getting the preloader working was in the AS3 publish settings: Make sure the Preloader Method is set to "custom preloader loop". And in regular swf publish settings, making sure everything is checked (including exporting the SWC - ignore the compile warning if one pops up). Then I set all classes to export on frame 2. On the main stage I have 3 frames. First frame has the LOK loader object (set to export in AS, but the frame export is unchecked) and third frame basically starts my game.

So, in other words, I was absolutely no help at all... ah, oh well.

I don't know jack about coding or whatever, I basically just salvaged and stripped a Newgrounds preloader and added different pictures. I figure it's best to leave complicated changes to the pros (you either know it or you don't).

Speaking of pros... I've had my anims on hold for a while since my finals are coming up, so in the next 2 or 3 weeks, you guys'll start seeing a lot more activity from me.

Yea, your preloader code kept screwing up for me too Nex, not sure why. I think you could still have sex in the preloader, just do what newgrounds does and have something like that 18+ button before the game starts downloading. I mean they're headed straight into a porn game anyway, that's going to do a lot worse damage to them than the preloader would.

Anyway, thought this was related somewhat so I decided to bump the thread instead of making a new one. I found this creative commons license thing awhile back and thought that would help with the people stealing without crediting the makers on here. Only takes like 20 seconds to get your own and you don't have to sign up or anything, plus you can adjust the licensing terms to how you want it. Closest thing to a copyright without having to spend money for it. I'm sure some people will be dbags and steal it without crediting you anyways, but this should at least deter some of them. http://creativecommons.org/choose/

Well actually, whenever you write something or make something that you specificly made, you now have copyright laws on it already no matter what it may be, even in school, or in kindergarden, you cannot be copied because you are protected by law, if you can't find a copyright thing, just put (Cc#) on it

YELLOW:The continue button (after loading) will be the thing they click after it loads

KINDA PINK:Indicates the loading bar thats the color i recommend

GREEN:Each time it goes up, the percent goes up so people know.. i guess...
