Those look great! Rossana is the best interpretation of the pokemon I have seen to date, zubat looks both hilarious and sexy, and I would not have thought one could make aerodactyl that good before I have seen this one.

Still working on the bikers. The western bikers could be called 'Acreus' Devils' (as a twist on Hell's Angels) and the eastern ones, when I go with the color of the outfits, 'The Yellow Menace'.

Also, how many different bikers do you want for each gang?

I like how you balanced her look.
It makes sense that a dragon would have a muscle-y body, but her cute face keeps her appealing.
She manages to look both adorable and strong.

I wanted to make her look voluptuous without being chubby.

And you very well succeeded. Although, IMHO, the thighs are a little too thick, but that's my personal opinion.

A boss
2 bikers with an alternate color(total 4)
a female version

western bikers:
a fat guy with epic beard in a waistcoat and a bandana in his head.
a guy with a helmet and a bandana in his face(optional)
female: bandana in her hair, tight black pants, waistcoat.
add sunglasses for a badass look


eastern bikers:
a guy with spiky hair
a guy with a helmet
katanas in their back.

bosses:
western: you're free on this design
eastern: I was thinking on make her female. She is a former ninja from the temple but she leave it when Koga promoted Seagull. Now keeps his hometown clean from those bastards of the Acreus Devils, since there's not any commissariat in Fucsia.

She has a twin sister that's still in the temple, because she still believes in the word of his master, and has to be loyal wathever she thinks. When the Eastern boss show you the way to the temple you meet her twin sister masturbating in the woods (I was...training) while some ninjas spy at her, but they immediately leave the place when they notice your pressence(this will be an important fact).

Her twin sister is now the most ranked ninja under Seagull, so if something happens to him she'll be autopromoted master. You read the book of the ninja's code and find that all the ninjas have to respect the command's chain, in both directions. She knows about all Seagull's orders about taking pics of naked women and bringing burgers because she had to transmit them to the ninjas. But when Seagull told the ninjas to spy her, he violate the command's chain. In other words: She should have told the ninjas to spy herself.

Why she didn't notice they were spying her? because if someone finds a ninja's trace, that ninja deserves punishment. Simply, they're meant to be so good that no other ninjas can discover them.

She has the look and attitude of a traditional dragon.
I wonder if any maidens will be "sacrificed" to her?
It occurs to me that her lore could explain aerodactyls becoming extinct after medieval knights hunted them.
I know aerodactyls are based on dinosaurs, but I still like this idea.

By the way, it turns out that the rolling pokeball and the 3D map system actually use pretty much the same code!
In both cases, the image rotates and the image pans vertically when you press up and down. Look that the Flash demo above and imagine that you're looking straight down at a world map from above. They both even loop the image. The only real difference is that the 3D map sends the resulting image to a 3D engine to display it on a 3D plane. Who knew that rolling objects and 3D maps had so much in common?

Here's my attempt to explain how I actually did it. I don't know if anybody will understand it though.

In case anybody's curious, here's a demo that shows how that rolling pokeball works.

You've got a clipping problem when the pokeball is white-side up. You can reproduce by approaching the bottom edge of the poke-texture with the white side of the pokeball. There's a moment before the map repositions where the bottom of the ball discolors.

Edit: you can easily reproduce by flipping 180 degrees and pressing "up" for a very brief moment. Additional things I noticed: the circle you used for the base pokeball (I don't really know what you did there) pokes out in the middle of the sphere edge. It's apparent when the .swf is put into fullscreen mode.

Don't be silly. Everybody knows that aerodactyls been evolving into zubats through the ages.

That should be easy enough to fix. I just need to put a bigger buffer around the source image and adjust the wrapping coordinates to take it into account.

Additional things I noticed: the circle you used for the base pokeball (I don't really know what you did there) pokes out in the middle of the sphere edge. It's apparent when the .swf is put into fullscreen mode.

That's just a simple mask being applied to the resulting image. I only applied the mask to the pokeball on the left. I wouldn't worry about this however, since the game won't likely be played at full-screen.
I could make a mask that exactly matches the pixels, but a circle is a much faster shape for flash to draw than a jagged shape with lots of corners. (Then again, I'm probably splitting hairs here since the difference in performance is probably negligible)

I've been playing the game all day and it's brilliant. I I just wish that all the female sprites had been uploaded due to some of the pokemon using the actual game sprites which was a little off putting
