Thanks, that's actually a great idea! While me and the other writers don't seem to have to hard of a time coming up with ideas (the hard part usually is limiting the ideas to keep the scope of the project small) but it would be really great to hear from anyone who has an idea.

To be more specific if any of you have any thoughts on cute/fun/sexy dates or situations with any of the characters I'd love to hear them. Is there a favorite moment from a movie that always gets you? A relationship from a novel or comic that tugs at your heart stings? A fantasy you've always dreamed about? Or even a situation or scene from a porn that you go back to again and again? I'd love to hear any and all thoughts because, while it's a personal project for us, it's also a project for you :) I can't gaurante we will be able to use every idea, but every bit helps and I'd love to make the game you all want to play and keep it as open source as possible :)

Oh and @littleredrabbit Danilo doesn't have hair, but me and Red have cracked so many Hasslehoff jokes we may just have give him a bay watch bonus outfit complete with wig ^_^ that would be hilarious!

Well to help bring more people in I would update the threads name from the sim project to the title of the game. I cannot count how many times I skimmed over this thread because the title gave off the feeling like no work had been done. And if over abundance of ideas is the problem then make a poll or survey and let the fans of this project help trim the fat as to say.

One thing I do hope stays is the power to play mach maker. I cannot tell you the number of time I’ve played a dating game and been like they should hook up.

In regards to offering up idea I'm more than happy to but a touch reluctant as information on the story is vague and a bit creepy.

And all though we can gleam quite a bit about them from their lovely drawings we relay have no real information on most of the potential lovers.

Enough of the negative stuff time for some date ideas.

For a sexy date how about a moonlight shiny dip.

For a fun date how about a scavenger hunt to a romantic dinner for two.

For a cute date how about taking your lover to a circus that has had to make a stop on the island.

For some other ideas a few name for some of the island attractions. I will of cores stay within the moon theme you have going for the island.

Jade Rabbit Casino I know the casino already had a name but it just felt a bit generic. I based it name of a Chinese legend about a imperial jade rabbit that lived upon the moon casting is shadow across the surface.

Club Apo11o a different way to write Apollo 11 the first manned mission to the moon.

Quarter Moon Arcade I think this one is self explanatory.

La Luna Falls Spanish or Italian for the moon it is also the title of a beautiful (in my opinion) opera love song.

The Odette Hotel named after the queen of the swans who could only turn human under the full moon.

I would love to give restaurant names as I imagine the island as at least one if not two or three but not knowing what kind of cliental the cater to, food they serve, or what type of establishment it is make picking names like throwing darts.

The circus idea mentioned above gave me another idea, random events. Once that do not happen on every play throw such as a big thunderstorm hitting the island, a famous band visiting, or a lunar eclipse. I know this will not make it in as writing and coding everyone’s reaction and interaction to the event would push the game back about another year and a half. But I still thought it was a cool idea.

(Looking back on what I posted before I just had to go back and edit it. It was just embarrassing the amount of mistakes. Normally I can keep my disability under control with a review and edit but I failed hard this time. But I fix it and add in some more ideas so I’m happy now.)

One situation I found on a certain booru was a girl, her bra up and her panties pulled down, with her arms tied to her sides and a little behind her, with rope above and below her (small) breasts. Her foot was chained to a pole, and she was just around the corner from other schoolmates -- girls and boys.

Something about that, chained and exposed, with a high chance to be caught... something about that makes me tingle. Then again, bondage in general tends to do that to me, but I've never seen a picture without any hardcore sex involved with bondage that turned me on as much as that. Perhaps it was the embarrassment of being found like that, I dunno.

I agree with the above i would love to play match maker, as I have also played a few games, some of them not even dating Sims, and was disappointed when certain characters didnt hook up, also the late night dip sounds incredibly sexy and the themed names of bars and stuff around the island is a solid idea.
either way Im just hoping you guys have fun making this, the last thing we need to happen is you to feel like your not doing good enough or something :shock:

Here's the map, have had it laying around for quite some time. And no, you can't click on anything yet. It is just to show off the map as well as the animations I have made for it. (Click the blue text bellow, titled "Island Map.swf" to see it all).

So yeah, I do stuff from time to time. The focus have just been so much on the writing lately, that I haven't had much to contribute with.

@littleredrabbit: I love those ideas! There is already a skinny dip but night time and maybe in the hotel pool might be fun and naughty! Love the scavenger hunt idea, that's easy and awesome! The circus is really cute, and there are some events like that though they are part of the quest lines (so when you progress to a point in a characters dialog tree a special event is triggered).
Matchmaker is something we discussed and we all live it, and it seems you and DocHollidayftb both like it too. It's just way to hard to do it with every character but I can say that you can go on at least one double date and there is an opportunity with 2 of the characters to enter into a poly relationship. So there is an element of matchmaker in the game.
Love your names, for this weeks update I asked Katsu to post the island map which shows all of the locations in the game. I really love the quarter moon arcade, that one for sure (if you're ok with it) is a definite keeper! As for places to eat, I hope you like Chinese because the LuckyCat is the only restaurant we have planned, lol.

@FMC: as usual you have some very kinky fun ideas (I still love and would like to add some torn clothing) and with out spoiling anything there are 2 characters who are fond of bondage and the idea of handcuffing the player in a compromised position just out of sight of a bunch of people is just the kind if thing one of these characters would dol! So I think we can at least deliver on some of that request.

@DocHollidayftb: Thanks and don't worry, this is by far the most fun I've ever had on a collaboration, and it all comes down to the great people on the team :)

Yes I would love if you used that name I’d give a little squeal of happy every time I visited.

I’m also happy you liking my ideas but it seems like you guys have it almost all worked out so I think I’ll stop posting them unless you ask for them like the date ideas.

I for one am been a big fan of the late night wipe cream and chocolate sauce.

But I can’t resist posting a few more names.

Moonstruck: to be dazed or distracted with romantic sentiment I thought it would be a good game for a strip club.

Tsukuyomi: the name of the Shinto god of the moon I think a good name for a high end Japanese restaurant.

Wolfys: A fast food burger joint with a family friendly face and a cubby wolf mascot. Based on the connection between wolfs and the moon.

Can’t think or find a good one for the mall all I can find is a weak association between pearls and a moon goddess.

Huh. Sounds like you're my kind of goat. ^_^ Honestly, I think it's good you're there on the team, representing us kinky folk ^_~. Also, I hope the horse is one of those two. :P

And on a random side note, can you guess what FMC stands for? It's three words that, together, I believe were either too long to put as a name here, or someone already had it.

Also, that map looks good. Can't wait to explore the volcano.

With that said, I'm also a huge fan of spelunking (finding crystal and rock formations always excited me) and exploring ruins. Just something about finding things that nobody else has... Anyway, I was going to ask, is there anything like that in the game? Or at least, talks / plans to?

@FMC: Never fear there are going to be plenty of kinks covered, and who knows, our stallion is a little shy but he likes to take control in bed too ;)
It's funny you mentioned ruins, there is a sub plot revolving around the ancient first inhabitants of the island and piecing together bits of a legend of the sun and moon, visiting ruins and sacred places. Funny thing I'm writing this post in a hotel in the Andes mountains on my way to explore Machu Puchu, so it's a safe bet I like kinky stuff AND ruins lol (we have a lot in common) I have the art done for some if it and maybe that will be next weeks update

Oh and does FMC stand for Fake Moon Chat? You seem to be into anime :)

I know you said you only have only one eating establishment planed for the island but that just a tad odd. A island full of people and only one Chinese place to feed them all? A quick way would be to hide them in the food court of the mall and a fancy restaurant in the casino. Both of this places are known to serve food and you would not have to change the map.

While you are right please keep in mind that all those places have to be drawn, coded and implemented in a way as well. We got the lucky cat right now since it is fully incorporated in what we have planned. Other places can be added afterwards but we have to set priorities and design places that actually are necessary first.

There are lots of great and at least interesting ideas from you guys :) It's nice to see some interest in this project. There's quite a lot of stuff to do but we all hope you'll be as excited as we are once we are nearing the completion of the Demo :)

Well, goat, you were right on it being anime, but it actually means Flower Maiden Cheza, from the anime Wolf's Rain... something I bet Red.Sheer has seen, or if not, she needs to. ^_^

@FMC: That's awesome I love Wolf's Rain, though it's been years and years since I've seen it. Another strange coincidence, and I almost hate to give a spoiler like this but the quest involving the ancient ruins centers around the rediscovery of a long since thought extinct flower, the Lunar Orchid... Um echos of Wolf's Rain and Cheza for sure lol.

I've seen the map and it looks awesomely drawn but I can't help but wonder what is that little island at the bottom of the map is it a science lab? or the place where the flower you mantioned or both aslo just asking if it is a science lab will there be science releted mini games in that area?

@Mariotx: Thanks! Glad you like the art, me and Katsu put a lot of time into it ^_^ As for the dome, without giving anything away, on the surface it is a botanical garden with an opulent Casino in the center of it. The little Island is called Full Moon and it, in part, gives the game it's name. I think I posted the interior of the dome a while ago on this thread if you want to see it. As for science Linn the sheep is a botonist and her quest line deals with archeology and science quite a bit. The player also has the option of choosing a background skill set for their character: Mechanic, Art/Music or Science/Math. Each background will open up special dialog options and make it easier to date certain NPCs. So if you like science there's defiantly some of that in the game, as well as just a touch of scifi.

I've been watching this project since the beginning of it, and its nice to see that it has grow up better with time, would certainly be a game I would want to try once finished. May sound kind of formal but, just wanted to say that I'm liking it.

Thanks for all the support :) the lack of updates is my fault, I was on vacation all last week and I came back to find my Internet down (I'm writing this in my phone) I won't be able to upload files until Saturday, so I'll make sure it's a substantial one!
