Look, Demonslust, I don't think you are a bad person for moving so fast, you need time and love. I'm afraid things won't be so well after a little while.
In my opinion, it's better to postpone the wedding until you know each other better and for a longer time. Just live together for a bit and see how that works out.

If it goes well: Great! Go get married.
If it doesn't: Call off the wedding and become happier that way.

Um.....we don't plan on getting married for at least 4 years. After college. We're using that time to get closer and learn to understand each other better. Trust me, he's told me a lot, and we trust each other. Our bond is stronger than you'd think. I know it might not make sense, but i've been waiting for him, someone with everything i could ever want, for my entire life. I've been looking for someone who'd go any length to be with me. And he has. I know and feel in my heart that he is, has always been, my other half. The missing piece of myself.

To be quite frank, who care about normal. What we're afraid of was the fact you'd get married and it turns out neither of you liked each how you thought you liked each other.
It's basically "is this lust, or love" type thing.

as for it not being normal, i would say that if you found you're soul mate, then it would be normal for the two of you to get married after one has gone to college if either of you is planning on going to college.
