hi... im here to say just a little thing.... i love the game so far... (im a pokemon nerd i know) but tauros is a male only pokemon... the female tauros is miltank... and thats it.. just that and exited about the game release

yes, but since we only do 1st generation pokemons we can assume that.

there is not scheduled release date its one of those cases its done when its done but we all hope with the amount of content we seen it will be soon. but if we rush it nothing good will come

There's quite a lot of stuff on this project already. I was wondering if I could have some help with the game though. I'm in the cave in Pewter that leads to the Gym, and I can hardly see where I'm going. If there's any advice you could give to help me out, that would be appreciated.

The outer cave its the one with the black ring around ash while he is walking right? If I recall getting into Pokemon battles widens the circle. But it's been awhile so I'm not 100% on that right now

Just a quick comment - as I haven't seen anything new since the March 2012 initial upload (am I missing something?) I am hoping all this other stuff being discussed and shared (images/content) is going to be there (I'm sure it will be - just watching the thread for awhile and the initial file never changes). No issues with waiting until y'all have what you consider is what you want to release, but it is tantalizing to see all this progress and not see something concrete to mess around with.

Nevertheless - carry on, and hope to someday to see all this you have done in the last year+ in discussion...sounds interesting

Your not missing anything at all the next update is being worked on and we hope it will be ready soon but as we all know with things like this life comes first and besides waiting without bitching always pays off if we are really lucky humb will give us a bonus section at the main menu and have bubba make some picture to throw into a gallery as a thanks for waiting? Hey never know anything can happen.

But yes the original game update is all that's up.

Query: how many votes have been made for the insect morphs?

Request: hold off on voting for Weedle if it has not already been voted on.

Only Scyther and Caterpie have been voted on, and I'm thinking about doing a re-vote on Caterpie.
I kind of like the version of Caterpie that already won, but she's missing her feet... and "horny" pose. Also, their resolution is actually a little too low for 640x480 view in-game, so I currently have to scale them up which makes them blurry.

I have an idea for the background of the Jenny clan, taking into account the dittos. By getting enough officers drunk or convincing them to open up in other ways, the player can discover the following secrets:

- The Jenny clan are in fact the descendants of a fabled ninja clan, the Je Ni clan.
- The Je Ni clan got their infamous impersonation abilities by breeding with dittos.
- That the Je Ni also can transform into pokemon is in fact an exaggeration, albeit they actively fostered it by spreading the rumors, the base of this legend is that they also trained their dittos in the way of the ninja and included them in their strike teams.
- They originally saw the pokemorphs as accidents and usually abandoned them in the wild, actively hunting them when they got too close to human settlements. When the Je Ni clan had to split and hide to avoid total destruction by the emperor, they stopped the hunt, and the pokemorphs have been slowly creeping back ever since.
- The Jenny clan has not only deeply infiltrated the police force, they also still follow the way of the ninja, both to attack criminals they can not reach legally and for personal gain. They also have ties to the secret service.
- That all Jennys look alike is both a way to provide alibis for each other and to appear as the least likely suspect when it comes to impersonation.

I kind of like the idea of the "Je Ni" Clan. That might be a good detail to reveal in Fuschia city, since it's ninja-themed.

I also had my own idea for the origin of the pokemorphs

They were created by none other than Professor Oak, and the reason he sends Ash is to check on the progress of his creations in the wild - Ash is "uniquely skilled" for the job because Oak considers him too much of a moron to find out the truth.The player finds out the truth by finding scattered research notes that were copied and then lost by Team Rocket. Oak's motivation is transhumanism - he wants to improve mankind by adding the pokemons' abilities to their genome - he plans to eventually breed the current pokemorph hybrids with humans -for which Ash is also a prime candidate as Oka expect him to turn out similar to his mother- but is in fact also not particularly concerned about their current looks.
Genetic tests will reveal that Oak has not in only in fact personally concieved quite a few of them, but is also Ash's father

That would work pretty well. It's kind of a toss-up whether I should use this idea, or have Mew be turn pokemon into pokemorphs.
Maybe we should do a vote?

Ok guys here is my not yet 100% finished version of Pidgey front. I had not in mind to make any major changes by now, just the lines, and a few little details.
Yeah please tell me what you think of it, and if I even should go on with it, or just throw it away^^ Not so sure how it looks to you guys.

The lines on her sides, the border between the two colors of her, makes her look pretty skinny. Maybe a lil to thin.

It looks like you had reference material for her body, but not her head and feet.

Well thank you. I will try again. I wasnt sure what to do with her "hands", and yep, i tried to birdynate a human face.
I hope I can do it properly at some point

EDIT: Oh hey bubba. Not to be rude or anything, but there is one thing that always bothered me in the game. Ist Fearows back actually. Ist tailfeather seem really out of place to me.
Oh and btw.: I think I will try to copy your Fearow style, and paste it over my Pidgeons. Meaning the details -human feet/hands, and so on whatever. Hope you got nothing against it.

Interesting. I'm tempted to have her "hair" be made out of crystals.
This kind of reminds me of the "stalagtite" monsters in Final Fantasy 2 for the NES.

You'll barely be able to see those heels after she's shrunk down to under 300 pixels tall for the game.
