Yo Humbs hey let me share a little idea/question:
What about Ho-Oh? (I hope his english Name resembles the german one)
It is not from the first generation, aware of that, but you could include something with it. Maybe just a little overworld-sprite scene, where Ho-Oh flies by, or even a little fight, which you are supposed to lose, or something. Please tell me what you think.

Humbird0 based his game from both the gameboy game and the tv serie so since Ho-Oh appear into the first episode
is possible for Humbird0 to put Ho-Oh in the game even though Ho-Oh it not from the 1° generation.
maybe as a secret pokemon? you can find it by doing a especific task or looking for a hidden scene where the Spearow attack you.

Hey Humbird0 after reading your thoughts I remembered something. In one of the recent seasons Team Rocket used Meloetta to control the Kami Trio. Hell Giovanni came out for that attempt. Team Rocket has always seems like the type to control the world IMO. Hope that helps.

World domination is way too cliche. I don't care if it's canon.
I prefer motivations to be based on something, not a blind ambition.

Team Rocket's motivations should be based on what they are, a criminal organization AKA mafia.
Generally speaking, a mafia would be primarily interested in opportunities to make money. Opportunities that are theoretically possible, but highly prohibited.
In their eyes, if something is against the law, that just means there's fewer people to compete with while doing it.

And to distinguish them even more...
What unique things would appeal only to a criminal organization?
Well... what unique problems and obstacles might they have?
- They might need to forge ID's to sneak into places.
- They might need to forge licenses to "prove" ownership of things they stole.
- They might need to disable security tags on stolen items.
- They'll probably need a way to check stolen money, to detect or remove tracking marks.
- They'll probably want to be able to detect the presence of police, and identify whether someone is an undercover police officer.
- They might be interested in being able to detect or disable recording devices.
- They'll need safe places to hide for any members who become wanted.
- They'd want a way to erase bounties on their members.
- They might want an untraceable way to "dispose" of troublesome people.
- They might be interested in ways to shut people up.
- They might be interested in ways to make their illegal products more effective.
- They might be interested in ways to create convincing fakes, and sell them in untraceable ways.

I was thinking about Joy, Jenny and ditto here and I have this idea:
Joy and Jenny are two of the most ancient families in Kanto. In the past to keep their influence they used dittos, the outcome of that relationship
was always the mother given birth to a girl who look identical to her mother and sisters, but they cant keep dittos or the people would suspect something
so they only use wild dittos, the things continue in this way for many generation until today, now ditto is very hard to find and the two families
keep together to find a solution.
Maybe Ahs´s mom offer them Ahs to be their new "ditto" in exchange for something and for that Joy heal Ahs´s pokemon for free and Jenny tease him?

I love the idea, but there are some problems:
How could Ash create clones? Their genes would mix with his, creating variety.
And Ash is mortal, so they could only breed him for one lifetime.

They're more likely to want to collect what few Dittos they can find and cultivate them to keep that species going.
Fortunately, there is already something like that in my game: The Imitae Mansion.
In my game, there are lots of dittos there. Maybe that's where Joy and Jenny keep them?
So maybe someone notices the Nurse Joy's are "misplacing" a bunch of dittos that were in storage, and the police are strangely unwilling to investigate.

Ho'oh always felt like a 2nd generation pokemon to me. I think it was used as a kind of transition between the first two sets of pokemon.
I see no need to have Ho'oh in the game since there are already three legendary bird pokemon. And Mew already fits the role of being an almost mythical pokemon.
And Ho'oh itself isn't particularly interesting as far as pokemon go, except that it seems to leave a trail of dust or something. But we have Butterfree and Venonat for that.

Actually, maybe you're just suggesting that it appear as an unidentified cameo without really being a part of the game.
I don't really see the point though. It's better to be able to interact with the things you can see.

Though this does give me an interesting idea:
What if you can have battle encounters with flying pokemon while you're using fly to get around the world map?
Actually, that might be kind of annoying if you're just trying to get somewhere.
