Why do people get all hyped up bout religion anyway. It is pretty much something we humans used to explain the unexplainable things like the moon and the damn sun when we didnt even know that the earth is actually round dammit!. I should quit talking bout that religion, its not good for your health.
I don't really know, I was a student of buddhism up until my 17th birthday as a junior year in highschool (so last year in February), when you no longer are a student you can stop wearing the white clothes, otherwise its 4 years of learning.
I really disagreed with the teachings of buddhism because one rule to live by was "don't take anything to an extreme", which is fine, "detach yourself from worldly objects and pleasures", which is another one, it doesn't really push it but the people that followed it did, and then the teacher was completely enraptured by buddhism (but they were refugees from tibet that lived in my state and founded a little temple) the teacher breaks the early first rule by devoting his life to it, and I don't believe the great buddha would have wanted that, I don't really think he wanted people to look up to him either. Plus buddhism in a nutshell is being agnostic, it was a set of rules to live by if you want to, it doesn't dwell too badly on the whole gods thing like "Ohm vajrasattva samaya manupalaya vajrasattva denopatistha dierdo me bava sutoskio me bava..." which basically meant "I wish to achieve a more perfect state of being...blah blah like the great blah".
Maybe it's all that shit that you end up doing.
