After spending a few seconds looking at the picture Sanowa Frowns and says " I'm sorry I don't think I have every seen him before... I was hoping he might have been one of the visitors to the academy when I was studying there, I wish I could be of more help. " The fact that Shelby is upset is clearly noticed by saphira not only because of her expression but also the sound of her voice, trying her best at comforting her saphira says. " shelby I know it must hurt to not be able to see your brother or even know if he is well... But with this many powerful mages I'm sure we can help you find him." being her first spoken words they were a little slow to come but quickly found there way out.

Kal watched the Snow Lynx move behind towards her and past her she didn't know that the girl had sat behind her, but she could feel her presence. Kal stopped scanning the party as she looked at the Dravonic, she'd never really seen one before it was interesting and the dragon by her side seemed to be able to talk with it's mind, that was going to be a problem, one extra voice in her head that she didn't want to hear. She wondered if everyone was going to continue taking there time talking, or if they were prepared finally to set off.

She slowly pushed her self up, and moved round the tree to look at the Snow Lynx, "You ready?" Two simple words she spoke if the others were going to keep talking Kal figured she would start walking, maybe the others would catch up. Maybe not, she didn't really wait for the Lynx to answer either she already started walking as she passed the others she spoke once more, "Time wasting..."

Kal kept her pace pretty slow she'd heard the instructions and directions if the others didn't follow she would simply scout out the area. Learn the numbers and see if she can pick up any straying thoughts, but it would take some time to get there not that they had lots of time the bandits weren't going to stay in there hole forever.

"I don't like you." Kal can hear the words from behind her practically at the same time the thoughts make their presence known in her mind. Ariat rests her hands upon her hands upon her hip implacably as she stares at her. Her slightly green tinted skin glistens in the sunlight, a stark contrast to the deep purple blooms that seem to be sprouting as apart of her hair. While it's probably understandable that the behavior of plants might seem strange to those used to interacting with other animals their whole lives Ariat seem downright hostile for no good reason at all. "You're always probing people all the time, sticking your nose in everyone's business, just like those arrogant garden sages."

Kal looked at the plant girl the comment had come pretty quickly and the message in her mind to, she hadn't said anything to this girl but the dislike was there and Kal's Anger began to rise as she listened to Ariat's reasonings. Kal looks into the eyes of Ariat, "You wouldn't be the first, probably not the last to dislike me, but to assume I'm doing something out of choice just makes me angry." Kal's eyes had began to glow into pure eerie blue spheres as her Rage was still building, this girl was reminding Kal once again why she didn't like to be around others.

Shelby looks at Saphira with a bit of surprise. She's willing to help her find Jered? "You mean it?" she asks, her eyes widening. It takes some effort, but she manages to pull herself together - and block out the insensitivity of Kal - and get back up on her feet, wiping the single escaped tear from her left eye.

"You're right. If I just sit here, I'll never find him...and I'm not likely to do that alone. Of course, any help will be appreciated." Shelby makes that last statement to the group in general, wanting everyone to know that helping is optional, but she'll be thankful for any that is provided. Besides, she knows in her heart that Jered's still alive out there; her bro's persistent - sometimes to the point of stubbornness, she'd admit - and it would take a lot to keep him down...

"Are all the races so violent?" Elsa asked aloud to the heavens, leaning back into the crook of the tree. How can one live in harmony, if harmony is not had with all of nature, and it's vast sea of creations? She closed her eyes, trying her best to block out the sounds, to get some rest in the closing moments of the preparations while other's tested their new found equipment much as she did on her own earlier, or to get to know one another better than before. More harsh exchanges occurred from the girl whom Elsa shared the tree with, the bickering going back and forth. Others, she though, decided to waste time, energy, and emotions on petty arguments. She had very much wished she had kept the last few moments of this time to herself in the training grounds, or out trapping her dinner for the night. Oh well, she thought to herself. Anything not done today could always be attempted tomorrow. She begun to doze off as her mind came clearer, more calm.

"Not all of them are violent," Roxia, who had long since been leaning behind the tree that the masked girl had attempted to doze on, said softly, but loud enough so that it could reach the girl's ears.
"They are not violent, but often choose fighting words, basing their assumptions upon their appearance, and not on their character. Very few choose not to judge on first impressions. They are often from unusual backgrounds, or lived in unique situations."
As he pulled out his lodestone yet again, and spun it in the electrical field in his hand, he asked her softly, "Does this answer your question?"

Noting the sun's descent towards the horizon, the guard tasked to you says "There's no more time. If you are going to attack the bandits today, it must be now."

Bobak quickly grabs Airat and pulls her towards the hill. "We're ready!" he says.

Arkalam was fed up with the useless banter amongst the troublemakers in the group. "Quit the fighting NOW. We're here for a reason, now let's accomplish it," he boomed. Turning to the guard, he asked "what should our strategy be?"

Kal sighed and brought the warmth aura to front again soothing her emotions and letting the rage go, she turned around and continued walking like she had already planned, the others were taking there time she didn't have the paitence to wait any longer. They could work out there issues later, and she would ignore those who shunned her as she always did, there was no need to be friendly once the job was done she could go back to trying to hide what she was once again.

Feeling restless and a little annoyed with how things are going Sanowa joins kal at the front of the group waking out to start their important mission. Looking at the little dragon resting in her arms she says in a soft tone. " ok little one it's time for us to get to work and earn that reward money. " saphira simply nods once then curls up in a ball to sleep while she can before she is needed for battle or to help the group in some way.

The guard turns to Arkalam. "You'll be approaching their valley and attacking from behind once night falls. I suspect this'll allow you to capture their camp easily."

Elsa got up from the tree as the commotion to get moving stirred her from her sleep. With a simple gloved hand wiping down the hemming of her outfit, she was dusted off and ready to go. She took her spot behind Sanowa, the only person to have not overly cornered her, and one of the few that didn't engage in oral vulgarities as the others had in the moments leading up to the departure. "You ready?" she asked flatly, more to the dragon than to Sanowa.

Shelby decides to keep her mouth shut for the time being. Airat had a point about Kal's insensitivity, but it's not really worth arguing over. Sometimes, you have to judge which arguments are worth having, and which are a waste of time; the present one falls into the latter category. For now, she simply walks up to Kal and Airat's little spat, flicks her head to one side to suggest moving along, and gets moving with the rest of the group. Besides, the longer she stays here, the less likely she will be to find Jered...

Sanowa glances over her shoulder with a smile when she hears Elsa's voice. however the only thing she says is. " Ya... I'm ready. " Hearing Elsa's question Saphira perks her head up to respond " Yes I'm ready Elsa... Thank you for asking." spreading her little wings Saphira quickly takes flight then circles around Sanowa before coming up from behind to fly beside Elsa so they can talk.

She walked side by side with the winged Dragon for a bit, the sounds of her foot steps matching the pace of the two ahead of her, their weight pushing down into the earth more than her own. She continued to try and estimate the weight of the two girls ahead of her, trying to learn how to track their estimated weight based on the gear they might be carrying, something that threw her way off in reading the foot prints leading to and from the city. In Ruiina, it was either the weight of the creatures she hunted, or the weight of her fellow tribesmen, with nothing more than a simple composite long bow, and spear in tow. Here, all manners of heavy metal weapons and armors. Regardless, she brought her attention once more to the Dragon that continued to keep up with her effortlessly on wings.

"Saphira was it?" she asked in her heavy northerner accent, the Common sounding much rougher than it should by any dialect's standards. "A very pretty name, I guess named after the blue stone?" she asked simply. "Never seen a dragon before, Ruiina doesn't have anything like you. You are kind of cute" She extended a heavily padded arm to the Dragon, offering her a hitch.

Going one step further saphira lands on Elsa's shoulder before saying " thank you I guess my baby years are going to be cute... And I was named after a dragon from a legend long ago she was an amazingly loyal to her rider, she would go into battle with her rider and helped win a Great War many years ago before the bad blood with humans and dragons started."

She withdrew her extended arm, the dragon perching on her shoulder as opposed to the thickened part of her leather gloves. It was a gesture she never thought the dragon would approve of, and she had to refrain herself from showing excitement, or of touching it. As cute as it might have been, she knew nothing about it other than it let it's owner handle it with care. Content she let out a small happy sigh, continuing to walk behind the two women before them. "Where I am from, there are no racial tensions. Just the daily struggle to survive against the freezing cold, where a Lynx can walk under rolling clouds, treading the snow on snowshoes, and all the game you can hunt. Much more peaceful compared to the human cities" She stopped walking, turning her head to look at the young dragon on her shoulder, trying to understand exactly what it looked like. "So humans and you don't get along?"
