those things go on forever. It's kinda the thing where you'd rather just kill a monster than read the mountains of the text. I've literally just skim though that stuff.
The older content is better since it's shorter and in general just seems kinkier.

I will freely admit I've played the game so much that many scenes I will simply skip over because I already know what happens in them and thus am not really interested.

So I beat zetzaz in his cave. What do I do next? Been looking through the mountains but haven't found the demon lair yet

Well at this point in time, once you kick Zetzaz's ass, you've beaten the game (Story-wise anyway) basically now, you just farm items/gems and recruit NPCs. Fen said he's going to add the 3rd dungeon, but TiTS is taking up most of the workload right now it seems. CoC's pretty much on the backburner for an undetermined amount of time. Fen said he would still work on it tho so not all hope is lost. Just enjoy the scenes.

Most anybody knows is it's "supposed" to release sometime at the end of this year but who knows? As of right now, Fen's only fleshed out I think 2 scenes and a couple of character stats/perks. -shrugs- The wait is going to kill alot of people I think, me included.

Well i'm making a CoC based game and it's more of a simulation if anything. The problem however is the fact that i have no design document and i'm as i said, making basically a simulation.

Yay for stupidity. Just thought i would share this thought of mine. Also, don't expect a game from me. It's just a project i'm working on.

Well basically TiTS is like a lot of games in that regard. Wether they are a hobby project or a large scale commercial product. ;)
Given the funding he has to have a go a it, he has to be even more professional about how he handles this than his approach to CoC was. (Hell, if remember correctly TiTS got either the largest or second largest amount of funding a project ever received on Offbeatr.) The organization alone given taxes, legal stuff and so on takes time. And that's even before he can start to work on the game itself.
Next is the groundwork programming. Though he can use a lot of the things he learned during making CoC here, I guess. Still this means for example acombat system - which he has a souped up version compared to CoC already, if i understood correctly. Inventory, travelling, shops, your ship, you name it. A dramatis personae to start with (which can be added to later, but some has to be there from the start).
And all that doesn't even include anything else than parameters and placeholders for the actual sexscenes. (I'm sure someone with more programming experience than me can tell you a lot more about this aspect.)
All of these things take time, and this isn't even a full list of " to do" stuff, just some examples. And in between, he's working on the scenes and story we're all waiting for. :ugeek:

I wasn't around when he startet with CoC, found out about it only after it was up an running already, so I don't know how much of actually playable game he had when he started with CoC. Or when he turned it into his fulltime job.
But with TiTS people will expect to have something more than just a handful of fights and sexscenes to start with. At least I presume so, given the scale of the whole thing.
Personally I would'nt mind something smaller to look at, but in the meantime there's always the stuff in the TiTS forum subsection of his blog to read.

In addition, I think he just has to get into gear with the whole TiTS business and that he'll pick up more momentum as he goes. Patience is the keyword, as with so many other things in life.

Please be advised, this is my personal view/opinion about these matters and in NO WAY AT ALL reflects Fen's actual plans/thoughts on the subject. Because those I simply don't know. ;)
In addition, if I misinterpreted your statement, I apologize for writing all this without any particular reason and costing everybody who read it valuable time of their lives. :?

Also, pro tip people. I'm working on a game in kinda the vain of CoC, and to be frank, i think i'm either going to have to rip my GUI code out along with my hair or possible spend months trying to program the movement system.

TiTs will be released near December (those whom donated and got the gold membership would get it around November) since December is 6 months from June; that is what Fenoxo said somewhere in his blog.

EDIT: Most recent blog post says that the website should be running in a month or two (albeit, I am not sure if he also means the game to also be released with the website)
Always in a hurry

Does anyone know what's going on with fenoxo.com? About a week or so ago it was getting errors when I was on chrome. I'd switch to IE just to see if it got the same and I could look at the blog page but the forums would get an error. I figured it would sort it's self out or fen would address it whenever he got back on. Well, it's now at least 5 days to a week later and it's even worse. Now it's asking you for a username and password. I didn't see any previous word on anything happening to the site. It isn't just my computer, either. I had my friend try to go to the site and he gets the same problem.

Thanks, I was worried someone hacked the site. I hope he just gets a new host if they're going to be dicks and just lock his website without any warnings.

It's not exactly the hosts fault. I have been on the receiving end of being on projects that gained way too much popularity too fast and outgrew the bandwidth many times. When you start these things up, you expect a few people a month, as time goes on your predict a few hundred more, etc, etc, until you start suddenly getting thousands of hits a day.
