Actually she'll be more of a "Southern belle" sounding kind of gal. Whether or not our Blonde could perform that kind of accent is one thing. Eh, it'll be worth hearing.

As I stated, Daisy is extremely enthusiastic, she loves to scream, so we should have that here as well. That means you need an abundance of confidence and you definitely need a lot of intonation. Which were two improvable points I mentioned to AnalBlonde. So, you can probably agree that this would be very difficult short-term for her. You need quite a bit of training to pull THAT off.

But I was thinking, Pauline has no voice and she needs one for this game. I think this might fit her more (but it's just an assumption). I can't make any somewhat accurate guesses unless I hear her actual voice and in a better quality. So, we'll just need to wait.

I dont agree. I think Blonde can do it well and in a short time.

But we should not have entire dialogues, but just some words, like 'Peach!', 'You Bitch!', and 'Donkey Kong, come here!' .

Remade text:

- ADDED enemies to the dusk/shadowy toad house (Toad Town). 'Shadowy' scenes are seen in an unicque way with common enemies. However, these wont be triggered all the time, because there will be making up and slow sex scenes by a shadow friend of Peach. Those enemies will still appear, in certain circunstances, like when she goes inside the house without being invited by that shadow friend, or when the shadow friend isn't there (e.g. a sign: 'Away' in the door). Thats because the right door inside is unprotected, and enemies invade there often when the friend isn't there.

Southern Belle? That might actually be easier for me than Peach.
It's settled, I'm Daisy, Blondie is Peach, Ivan is Mario and Bass is worth a toad... Or is that a fish...

Could you be a little more patient? You'll get this stuff eventually and Ivan does what he wants to do. If you want more enemies, scenes and such, then get us people who are able and willing to help us out.

LuckyPig Wrote:ok enough with the level designs, more, bad guys, sex scenes, costumes and characters please >:)

Its easy to say that, but harder to execute, because:

1=> We're 'normal beings', with families, jobs, tasks required outside (like paying for telephone, bank, pharmacies, showering the dog, giving escuses to our girlfriends), and common worries/stress. People are making animations with me right now (Blargh, Digfree, Gorepete and OwnerOfSuccuby), but they are human beings too. Some are into Colleges, another one in universities, another one playing XBOX and PS3 games (not me on that one!), so we need to wait.
2 => We work for free. We dont have end dates (with an angry boss on top of us). This absence is in fact good for the project because we talk with players directly, we can think better, and ideas flow better. But due to the item 1 above, we can't be only working on this game.
3 => Once with a free time, we start working in the game (from which is done actually EVERYDAY, most times at night), BUT:
- The game core IS code. Without a proper feature (with new code) with tons of tests, no scene will be bug free, and some can be annoying by the player, so we are using the most time for programming, sometimes altering complex algorihtms, but without visual perception (the player thinks the game wanst changed at all).
- Each sex scene requires planning, some sketches and good ideas (well I do have ideas but the team should discuss more), otherwise I can end up adding not so interesting scenes or scenes that are equal to other enemies (or even weird scenes, like Peach fucking a wiggler upside down in a strange way, after eating apples). Trust me, I'm capable of doing that without planning. ThatGuy45 created some nice sketches and I will be creating more Chomp and Shyguy scenes based on his when I have time.
- Priority IS level making because its the HARDEST task and I'm already used to it. If you're an engineer which can modify an entire city (and you're used to it), why retiring in exchange to create new road paths? We will end up with tons of paths and highways, but without new areas to go. And that engineer will lose his skills over time, making him unable to create more buildings and bridges. The only way for this to work is having more contributors, who can bug me all the time: 'Ivan, done, done, done, done!'. So Ivan will be 'implementing, implementing, implementing, implementing!'
- Also, Priority is Peach poses (pole dancing, running while embarassed), and Peach voice acting. Needless to say priority is also bug fixing.

So please be patient. The tendency is a faster code, a faster framework to make scenes, and a steadier game flow. I understand the anxiety and I would be like you if I were in your place. Sometimes I ask to myself: 'why not rushing to the scenes?', as I can think the game is from other developer and then simulate this. However, nothing is easy like we imagine (and worse if we're alone).

Sure, but don't forget the list I posted, there's a lot more you can do than just give ideas. Like art, code and help from acquaintances of yours.
(Oh, and not to forget the 'moral support', of course ;) )

And isn't it great to have 10 posts? You're just 89 posts away from a cookie!

I could get that. I was thinking more of what her accent might sound like, not the matter of how she speaks. But to be able to scream... yeah that's going to be hard to pull that off. Just thinking about it is hurting my own voice...

... Somehow I'm picturing Pauline with a Brooklyn accent or something from up north. I'm just not sure why though...

... Sorry, you're wrong on that again. Why would I be a fish other than the name of it (although you did sort of get the pronunciation right about asking me about vintage Megaman)? Although thinking about it, I don't think I could do Toad's or a regular Toad's voice because he sounds so rough. Toadsworth I might, but I need to nail down a British accent that isn't a crappy Scot/Irish accent. What part of Britain would he... wait, you do Applejack?

LuckyPig Wrote:ok enough with the level designs, more, bad guys, sex scenes, costumes and characters please >:)

Hey, hey, hey! Do you want pointless things instead of getting the main game completed? Sure it'll be nice to get more sex scenes out of the other enemies, but there's priorities in place. And if you want more characters, play Blargh's version! As far as I know, there aren't going to be more characters to play with until the game is complete (which is probably not going to be a whole lot). As for other characters to interact with as NPCs, that I'm not too sure about since I have no idea about it. There's scenes being worked on by the other contributors, but those are being done at their own pace. There's no rush man. As other said, just be patient.

ElPresidente Wrote:Frak more constumes.

Well some can agree the amount of costumes is good for now, I can't say there isn't room for more. I say if it fits, bring in the necessary!

AnalBlonde Wrote:I can just go back to give you guys (bad) Ideas ;)

Eh, it can't be that bad. Any idea could be good... except for Anon8's suggestion at KAEC. His was just plain bizarre. But otherwise please suggest them! The ideas, Ivan and crew needs them!

I would appreciate the efforts! It would be nice to make them talk, at least short words, like 'Princess!", 'Princess Peach!', 'hello!', 'Ohhh", 'no", "yes".

Bug to report!

-Peach unable to proceed in X-Naut Base. After leaving Gourdus's entry hall after completing the yellow disk task. You are just shown the door you enter/exit out of and Peach is nowhere to be seen.

Please be more specific (as I always ask people to).
- Leaving entry hall -> that GREY automatic door?
Checking.

EDIT: DONE! Please check again.

I knew that Jen Taylor did Peach's voice but I didn't know she did it that much! Just so everyone knows, she is most known as Cortana from the Halo series and as Zoey from Left 4 Dead. I enjoy her voice quite a bit!

You don't have to apologize, that is positively adorable!!! (Mikey is my favorite TMNT as well! COWABUNGA!!!)

And this is for all who are thinking about making voice samples. One thing that helps a lot is a sound card. I have recently setup a voice recording station on a computer for a friend and their voice sounds crystal clear because they have the proper equipment. I'll link to the things they have.

This is the mic:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/MXL-990-Con ... tads-plaid

This is a pre-amp:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/ART-Tube-MP ... tads-plaid

and this is the audio interface:
http://altomusic.com/shop/M-Audio-Mobil ... d105940.am

The mic plugs into the pre amp, which plugs into the audio interface which works as a sound card for whatever is running through it. The mic, is actually a really good mic, but you don't have to have one of that quality. This can be quite the investment though if you are not planning on recording your voice a lot.

Also, Micaturtle, the mics on laptops are fine for online chatting but they probably aren't very good for quality sounding voice recording. I would also suggest playing around with the distance from the mic as well, try to find a sweet spot! Hope this helps you out!

Hey, I follow the progress of the game since 1 or 2 month (I don't remember x) ) and I just want to say that you make a really good job ! :D
And take your time even if we say to speed up or anything else : a good game without so much bug and made with the time who is necessary is REALLY better than a game made fast and with bugs :)
