I agree with this wholeheartedly. I love the idea of certain events having very specific triggers, but there need to be concrete hints in the game about what the triggers are. For example, with hiding in the bathroom, maybe have him wake up and have to pee just before the trigger, with an option to just sleep through it and go in the morning. Or, maybe he hears his mom downstairs, sneaks down to check it out, and overhears her talking to herself about which vegetable might be the most pleasurable... then he hides in the bathroom when she turns around.
Just randomly stumbling through the game can be frustrating, I know personally I hate feeling like I'm missing out on something just because I don't know how to trigger it. At least point me in the right direction.
All that said, this is one of the most fun demos I've played in a very long time and I look forward to the next update!
