I wouldn't be waiting around except my laptop had a major death the other day and now I'm having to use my kindle to post... do you know how hard it is to post and format my post with corrective text and a moronic english dictionary when all formatting has to be Americanized.

I know how it feels when your laptop dies, mine did and I had to fix it's hard drive.

Also, what's wrong with Americanized text? D: <

But it makes me awesome Taria ^_^ One battle will probably end with my character climaxing half way through the battle.

And That_One_Guy nothing is wrong with Americanized format the issue is every time I write it out I have to go back and replace the word once again because my kindle is set to UK English not American.

Why should I reward you for doing what you're supposed to?

Couple of things: First, the way I've been calculating lust-based attacks makes staves advantageous for lust attacks. Lust scales off of int, meaning that high-int characters deal more lust damage than low-int characters.

Second, ToG, your reward will likely be the same as everyone else, but your character's reputation with Denmar and Lucien has certainly improved.

At least Mako's "waiting around" was out of honor and conviction. Nothing ever said he needed to violate P.O.W.s if he signed up; if they did, he never would've joined them in the first place. He may have left the dojo behind him, but he still has standards...

1: Be polite.
2: Be efficient.
3: Have a work-around for the skills of everyone you meet.

I found a cool map tool that integrates pretty well with Zender's RPGMaker maps.

The tool is called Map Tool, by the guys at RPTools. The pros of the map:

Server-client interaction; everyone sees the same map, and can edit it in real time.
Integrated rolling system (looking into the algorithm. looks random enough for our purposes)
Supports images to represent players and enemies.
Supports integrated statistics (hp, sp, lust str/def/int/res/hit/spd).
Supports visibility mechanics, should we ever need those,
Supports obscuring layers.

A screenshot is provided below. I'm not showing off all of the features, mainly because I haven't learned all of the tools yet.

Edit: the image came out pretty unreadable, but that token there is Mako. It's fairly trivial to import a lot of tokens into the game; it's a drag-and-drop system using png images.

So...does this mean I make the basic layout in VX's editor as a "background," then send it to you, and we work on the map from there?

The first map you made, (the one pictured) worked well. Each square of grid in the program was 32x32 pixels, and it seemed the map was done in 32x32 tiles. All I need to make a map such as the one pictured is a .png image of the map.

Hmm. I may have been using the lust formula wrong, then. I'll need a recap on that.

Well then, we should be set. VX renders all of its maps in tiles of 32 square pixels, and as long as I have it at 100% zoom in the editor, they will render at exactly that size on the screen. All I need to do from there is make sure I can see the whole map at once, and use Print-Screen to save it in Paint as a .png file. "Easy peasy, lemon-squeezy," as they say.
