Zeus Kabob Wrote:I found a cool map tool that integrates pretty well with Zender's RPGMaker maps.
The tool is called Map Tool, by the guys at RPTools. The pros of the map:
Server-client interaction; everyone sees the same map, and can edit it in real time.
Integrated rolling system (looking into the algorithm. looks random enough for our purposes)
Supports images to represent players and enemies.
Supports integrated statistics (hp, sp, lust str/def/int/res/hit/spd).
Supports visibility mechanics, should we ever need those,
Supports obscuring layers.
A screenshot is provided below. I'm not showing off all of the features, mainly because I haven't learned all of the tools yet.
Edit: the image came out pretty unreadable, but that token there is Mako. It's fairly trivial to import a lot of tokens into the game; it's a drag-and-drop system using png images.

So...does this mean I make the basic layout in VX's editor as a "background," then send it to you, and we work on the map from there?
