That depends on whether he cares about how far below zero the stat would have gone. If breeding a monster would take the stat below zero it drops its stat modifier instead - I haven't really experimented with that, though, so I'm not sure whether or not he's scaling the mod drop based on how far past zero it went.

Edit: a quick test using a new game suggests that it does matter how far under you go - certainly, something is changing how much the mods drop by on different tests.
Cogito, ergo... something.

Haha, man, mentioning math opened up the floodgates, huh? TIL many perverts are also mathematicians :P. I super appreciate all of you guys helping out.

I still need to sit down and look over your equation, werefrog, but since you mentioned playing with differential equations am I to understand that the function you've given me takes into account the different rate of stat growth at different magnitudes such that breeding at a low stat value cannot raise your stat to a higher value than breeding with the same mod at a higher stat value? If so, excellent!

Edit: I want to add that the mod penalty for negative breeding is always just multiplying the mod by .9

I ran into one small problem where I would owe like 90,000 because I'd have to much money but I got to almost complete paid off before I lost my save data. I like how leveling system is now but also welcome any changes. In the other versions didn't get nearly this close to paying her off so I like this version a lot better.

I excited about the new features in the lead at moment and very eager to see the younger versions in action, very eager to see finished cum shots. But more than anything else I excited to hear their plans to add more story elements in the works.

One current things leads win bunny girls and monster pregnancy probably going to be my big donation push unless something else pops up I find more interesting. I have a lady friend who goes bonkers for bunnies, her avatar is a bunny girl and also plays this game.

Adding some brutal elements to game over endings or risks? Because the player’s family died during some accident with their monsters what if it was possible to die in game from a slimier accident, being fucked too much being fucked by a more brutal monster? What if when collector girl game to collect and you didn’t have the money she took you in and you were shown a scene of being gang ranged to death and or just killed? Just an idea might not go over well with some or all players but thought I'd see if anyone else thought like I do.

I'm not personally comfortable with this kind of content.

Just for future reference, a list of content that will absolutely not go into the game:
- Guro (blood)
- Snuff (death)
- Scat/Watersports (excrement)
- Misogyny

That's fine. No worries forget I listed dit.I didn't even know excrement was a thing and have no idea what misogyny is. I'll have to look that up.

Edit.

Misogyny (pron.: /mɪˈsɒdʒɪni/) is the hatred or dislike of women or girls. Misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including sexual discrimination, denigration of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification of women.[1][2] Misogyny has been characterised as a prominent feature of the mythologies of the ancient world as well as various religions. In addition, many influential Western philosophers have been described as misogynistic.[1] The male counterpart of misogyny is misandry, the hatred or dislike of men; the antonym of misogyny is philogyny, the love or fondness of women.

Is it just me, is has it been a lot easier to get a monster with 6+ breed modifiers?

Did you fiddle with that as well HBomb? I thought the original way was working fine; and getting the traits to assist it was the best way to maintain it. Now it doesn't seem necessary to have Breeding Stock anymore.

That was the intention. I didn't really test it but the graph of the function looks fine and it looks exactly like I expected so it should be fine.

Cosmetic error:

If you use the 'scroll wheel' on the mouse over the client 'Demand' or 'Sell Monster' button on any rank, the text will move into invisibility. You can scroll back to bring it back so not big issue, but how the heck did THAT happen?

Breeding modifiers are, in fact, easier to get now, as it rolls once to see if it transfers the modifiers, then rolls again to see if it transfers half of the modifier instead if you didn't get the whole one. I might change it back if making it easier was actually unnecessary.

Also, the explanation for the scroll wheel bug is actually simple: I accidentally set the buttons to dynamic text instead of static text, which puts in the scrollwheel scrolling automatically.

I poked around with werefrog's formula some more. This is how it compares with the original formula for breeding strengths of 50, 500 and 1000:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

DecayGraph.png
(The lines show the resulting stats for breeding with a monster of the given strength at a given starting stat)

As long as you've got a guard clause against negative arguments to the ln() function (which sounds easy enough if you're just doing fixed mod drops), that looks pretty much perfect. It seems to perform the same way everywhere it should, and fixes all the spots where it shouldn't. In particular, it gets rid of those crazy spikes on low-stat/high-mod breeding.
Cogito, ergo... something.

Since futa and neoteny traits look to be in the lead for the current round of voting - I'm wondering if these drastic appearance altering traits (and others) will work together, or if they're just going to be overwritten like the current appearance altering traits. For example, Furry Futanari monsters - more animalistic male genitalia? And would there be younger versions of the furry-trait monstergirls as well?

Somewhat related, specifically to neoteny - will the younger versions have unique animations? And furthermore once monster pregnancy is more finalized with the neoteny trait, would the young looking pregnant monsters just be disproportionately swollen? (Something I thought would be interesting is if the size of the pregnant monster's/character's stomach depended on the size of the monster they're pregnant with, which would also scale down for a child with neoteny, but I'm not sure how much work that'd be)

One last neoteny question - will the childlike holstaurus still have oversized breasts? :P

I to had a lot of these questions but I figured we'd see when we got there. Seems like a lot of new work to put in a younger, furry....futa version of same monster.

As for oversized kid holstrarus that would be funny as hell, to me at least, I could see that going either way. Hope we get some answers soon. Maybe a good idea would be have certain monsters reflexing certain ages. Like the kitten girl is pretty damn young but have the cow girls early teens. Don't know the game his brain child I'm sure he has some master plan and I'm sure it will be epic.

Ahh, honestly I don't know if this has been brought up before, but there seems to be some 'funkyness' in the way traits spawn on shop monsters. After I had all traits unlocked and started getting maxed monsters (around 6/15) I noticed that shop monsters all had traits, LOT'S of traits. Every monster for sale had 3-7 traits, alot of them had cruel and gentle (rendering them somewhat less useful). Whatever equation is being used to increase the rate at which traits appear could possibly be capped, at a lower value, so to keep traits a little rarer.

This is just my opinion, but I think giving monsters pregnancy times(even a single day) would be good for balance. Once you have a holstaurus with high dex it becomes a bit easy to produce a ton of monsters in a single day.

Maybe I'm missing the point in this game but I've been trying to get the player pregnant and I just can't seem to do it. You do it through Harvesting right?

No, to get the player pregnant, you go to the breeding area and select the same monster on both lists, then breed it with 'itself" which makes it have sex with the player, this is used to give the monster its own stat boosts, and can knock your player up :)
