Okay, for those of you who have been waiting patiently for your intro into the storyline, now you may begin. ^_^
You will need to make a brief statement about you character entering the main gates of Overlord Taria's castle, and then you will end up in the Recruitment office where Zeus Kabob's NPC can fluidly insert you into the storyline. You will be awarded your recruitment bonus (currently 200 Hell) and you also be given a chance to shop and be informed of any on-going campaigns and other important business. This way I can continue leading the storyline and plot RP without having to pause and come up with a way to move in a new player as they show up.

Quick note: my character (playable) is named Denmar. The recruiter NPC is named Harold. New characters will be speaking with Harold.

To Melissa and all other future recruits: Everyone will want to look at the end of page 1 for the beginning of the combat tutorial. It'll be important to know how combat functions in here, so reading the full tutorial will be beneficial.

That's a difficult Evility choice - which I suppose means you're doing it right.

Is the bonus intelligence from Dragon Born temporary or permanant? (I'm guessing temporary, but I thought I'd check anyway.) I'll take Fleet Ifrit if it's temporary, or Dragon Born otherwise.

In retrospect, I probably should of mentioned here as well that I was unavailable for the weekend =3=" now it seems I'm a fair bit behind... could I try to fit in somehow? Heck, maybe my character playing as someone who's about to join would work (since Alice seems like a character who already knows how to fight).

EDIT: If that works, I'll have a proper read through the rp and try and understand the systems, don't exactly have time right now, gotta go to school in 20 minutes.

By the by, I'm still not 100% on the specifics of combat, so I'm leaving any precise wording and formulas out of the combat tutorial. (for example, the way I was doing it, Mako's basic attack had a 57% chance to deal 5 damage, with a -43% nick chance. Didn't feel right to me).

All right. Upon conversing with Taria, I now know how combat works.

Grapples do not incapacitate targets. They simply deal lust damage to the targets.

I've updated the messages to reflect this, as well as adding in proper damage values for the combat.
