Zilear Wrote:Humbird! I think a great theme for saffron city would be hypnosis, kinda like in the anime. Hypno/Drowzee hypnotizing all the young girls around the city making them super horny.
Please do something with this theme if you think its a good idea!

So I was "updating" the front of Charmander, but I don't really know what to think of the outcome.
Especially the eyes look so detailed now, that everything else seems to be so undetailed.Spoiler (click to show/hide):
I changed of course the eyes. Next to that I also adjusted to position of those eyebrow-line thingies, and I also reshaped the central arm/ hand a bit.
Oh yes and the mouth also was changed a little.
Tell me what you think of it^^

Well, it still needs some work.
The proportions make it look male, in spite of the breasts.
There are two reasons that immediately jump out at me.
- The shoulders are wider than the hips: In females, the shoulders are narrower, and the hips are at least as wide as the shoulders. In males, the hips are narrow.
- The strong jaw-corner is a very male-like feature. In female characters, the cheeks tend to be much more curved. Also, if you think about where the jaw is 3-Dimensionally, it is in front of the neck, which connects to the head behind it. Therefore, the line for the jaw probably would not go back far enough to connect to the edge of the head. The only way to know for sure is to look at reference material of actual people so see how the head is shaped at this angle.
Now, this may be personal preference, but the nose bothers me. It makes me think of Voldemort in Harry Potter. Perhaps giving her a slight muzzle would create the subtle impression of a more human-like nose. The viewer expects that part of the face to stick out somehow, so it looks weird when it doesn't.
The belly-button is normally located just slightly below where the rib-cage ends, so it should be higher up.
Oh, and the eyes should generally be centered halfway up the face.
dragonmaster121989 Wrote:just my point of view here I would think it would be a good thing having all these people helping out just for example how many games do you see on the web that have borrowed pictures because they don't have people to draw?
this game has some really good artists tailoring the art to this game so it can be perfect when it's all done.
but that's just my point of view.
