... on another note, all this wanting an Eevee makes me want a Spiky-Eared Pichu, but I'm not getting it, because I think Elly would explode if she ever saw one.
Also, yay for the ferry, and yay for everything always being timed and coincidental in video games!
I never understood games where you had a timer... like Prototype, where you can have 10 seconds left on the bloody thing, and the cutscene is quite clearly longer than 10 seconds and yet it plays out like normal...

Also, I imagine to Nurse Joy, ANY amount of damage is unacceptable, what with a love of Pokemon so strong you dedicate your life to healing them. But Claire's Pokemon were definitely well beyond what you'd expect as "Normal" damage since she basically put them through the Gauntlet. Jackson was more in the normal range, but her opinion of him is colored by the fact that news spreads in a small town like Oldale, so she made a bigger deal out of it than usual. As for Kana... that's a secret

Fluffles is best winter vulpix. Fluffles is also not even a vulpix or a fox, considering that Fluffles' avatar is of a Wolf Tengu person... and Fluffles likes taking care of pokemon eggs VERY much : D

So, a bit of both, then. Nurse Joy's reaction is probably more... intense than most people's would be, but we're also not in the 'it's not over while I have a single Pokemon still conscious!' dynamic of the games. Good to know.

are you talking about the way y battle turned out lol it wasn't that bad and not sure if you are aware but Kana used to be a player so there is a reason we all want her she is a half human half pokemon that can change into a full eevee at will if I understand right

there are only two poke girls the first one is still active and I don't think sue would take to kindly to the inside of a pokeball but Kana is a player that left so in my book if we can find her it's fair gain personally I think if I got a poke girl she would only be in the pokeball when I caught her I can almost picture it now you throw out a pokeball and sue pops out then throws out her own pokeball that would be funny but weird. and I don't think Jackson would have the heart to capture sue in the first place.

Well, technically, Tsubaki's gone Inactive, so I won't take her over or anything, but if Zen expresses a disinterest in continuing this ever again, I've got plans for her... devious plans... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

On to less maniacal business, I forgot I had an exam today. I'm not sure how this will impact my posting ability yet. Also, Friday I graduate from my current college, so again, posting ability may be impaired. Dunno yet.

That wasn't a reference to anything (or anyone) in particular, just a description of the 'normal' method of catching Pokemon.

I tend to assume that Pokemon psychology is different enough from human psychology that they don't consider that to be cruel and/or unfair treatment (although Misc has pointed out that actually knocking them out before catching them will piss them off) . . . but Kana isn't entirely a Pokemon. That means (at least to me) that she'd require rather more finesse than some random wild pokemon.

(And, as you can probably tell from the above, I am aware of Kana's backstory.)
