This is just a test: i've done with no serious intention (is visible that the burn is not well done), and i've done in a single layer so some lines are shaded. i need to know: how is the tecnic?

Color-wise, using burn actually looks pretty good on skin.

But shading-wise some parts look flat, such as the upper part of the leg on the left and her stomach.
Also, her breasts have almost no shading, except for a bit of lighting on the left edges, which gives them an embossed look instead of making them look round.
To fix this, I recommend taking a quick look at this shading-guide.

For voting, I actually prefer to display uncolored pictures, in order to present them in an equal way.

in all fairness I think almost all of the images for vulpix are already colored. only other one that's not is what silka posted.

Fair enough just didn't want to waste my efforts on that pokemon only to throw it out after I got used to photoshop now that I'm used to it I think I'll move onto ekins maybe.

about the flatness of the tits, i know it. i've used the burn tool with 100% of hardness on the lines, so this gave that effect. my interest was on the light effect, not the flatness. as i've tell already, i've done it with no serious intentions (it took me about 20 minutes). by the way, i like a lot that lapras

Umm, no offense, but Vulpix looks kinda.....bad. Mainly the face.

I think it's one of Bubba's oldest pictures.
Personally, I think her face looks okay. It has kind of a southern-gal look.
But no biggie. We have lots of Vulpix pictures to choose from.

I kinda like the way she looks now but hey teeth work too.
about the vulpix I think she still looks good for being one of budda's older sketches.
if Budda wants to redo her for a new sketch I'll color that one too just to see how good she comes out call it a break from all the ones we need now

Personally, I think her face looks okay. It has kind of a southern-gal look.
But no biggie. We have lots of Vulpix pictures to choose from.

I don't know how to explain that when coloring it's like he changed her facial expression. Something about the eyes, eyebrows, mouth and the "hair fringe?"

My idea worked! The texture moves, the polygons don't. So no more clipping problems.


The controls are the same as before:
Move: Arrow keys
Rotate: X & C
Ascend: A & Z

Performance is a little worse because I'm constantly replacing the texture, and I couldn't reduce the polygons without making it look like the world was oozing past you.
Now all I have to do is fix some minor issues with the sky's vertical movement, add inertia to the player's movement, and figure out a way to make the world loop.

Make a 3x3 grid of the map, going from (-map.x, -map.y) to (2*map.x, 2*map.y) and when the players position is no longer over the central tile, move them to the corresponding position of the central tile?
