Hey, new player here. I can't get past level 1-7, the airship level in the first world. I get up to the airship, make it all the way through the level to the door at the very end and face off against the koopa kid. However, whenever I approach him it cuts to an animation of Peach falling out of the sky with a parasol. I can't do anything - she just keeps falling and eventually falls off the screen. That's when the HUD disappears. I'm just left with a blue screen. None of the buttons do anything, I can't even pause the game. It makes the confirmation sound as if I had paused the game, but the screen doesn't change.

Any help with this would be really appreciated, I'd love to see the other worlds and levels in the game.

Are you using the latest version (from today)?
I can't reproduce!

EDIT: Hmmm I think its 3-4. After then, I decided to load the game thenI went to 1-3. Peach started to act strange in pipes. She started to die when touching a Blooper (squid)!
We're in those darn LALEM problems again. But as I've said, I already know the cure. I'll check 3-4.

EDIT: Reuploaded. Please check again. If this error happens again, I would like to know the exact path you did (e.g. 'i finished level 3-5, then loaded 3-3 from a save).

Okay, so Ive been doing some some stage design work. Thought I'd share them.
A partially designed set for the world 7 world map (Sky world)

In both cases I'm posting here for ideas. The star/sky road (which apparently has nothing to do with world 7) is apparently meant to be a bonus level, with little to no bosses. Both these images are 'unfinished' in that I would like to add more props to them, and in the case of the Road I want to add a third layer.
I'm just seeing what people think. And asking:
What in-mario objects would you put in these images that fits the settings. (objects, not enemies or npc's)

Wow Toy, you are doing quite a remarkable job at creating this. Why didn't you do this before?

Either way, Sky world is supposed to be a lot more like a large collection of clouds. That's because (SPOILER, area)

But for what you have done, I must give you kudos.

A few other points of interest:
- There will most likely be no cannons.
- There should be a return pipe to the Campus area at the beginning.
- The little lake where Peach lands when she gets to a new world has to be next to the first level.
- The huge star with the key in the background probably won't be there.
(Ivan makes the final call, but this is what we'll likely need)

The other pic you made, is it supposed to be a level or a world map?

Yeah, up, down, left, right, A, B, Start.

The discussion I went with Ivan went something like this:
Toy: I have no idea what you were asking, so I came up with junk
Ivan: This wasn't what I envisioned, but it looks awsome
Toy: My understanding was that you wanted a look for the sky world, and that the star road connected the sky world to the moon
Ivan: Not what I was thinking, but I like the idea. Will have to brainstorm
Toy: I'll continue as I have been then then... All maps at 1/2 to 1/4 scale so you know.
Ivan: Again, we'll have to brainstorm but I'm looking forward to seeing it

(conversation was much longer but took place on skype)

My idea was this;
The sky world consisted of a series of maps with the star I drew as a hub. Some maps took place in the clouds (bouncing on them, semi-solid), some took place in the sky, with only blocks and moving platforms to keep you up.
The big star on the map is the exit point of the star road, it's one way.
Once the player has gotten to a certain point E-Gad will send you to the moon. After defeating grodus (?) up there Peach contacts the king/princess of the cloud kingdom and they open the star road, based on Ivan's graphics. An Ultima level with lots of loose plot ends, some npc's to do it with and at the base, plotpoints are waiting. Inside the level, lots of coins and stuff await.

My general idea at any rate. Not that I've finished building it yet. (was designing in paint.net. All kinds of fun in there, I am good at this kind of graphics work)

I get that it's a reference to Luigi's Mansion, my problem is that it doesn't sound right in terms of grammar when I read the message in my head. I don't know. To me it will sound better if it was "I wish for my mansion to be full of story tales" or "I wish to have my mansion full of story tales." Then again, what do I know?

Yeah I've noticed the missing nails as well on Ivan's regular Peach as well. Usually I don't consider those that bad of bugs, since it appears to be rather easy to fix. Same goes for the cut off number in the menu. It's nothing that bad in terms of when I'm playing a game since none of them are hindering my playing experience. I do find it distracting... and I should be more vocal about them.

And speaking of bugs... So there seems to be some problems with Birdo's eggs. Whenever I get hit by one of them when I'm near her, I get frozen in place, either standing around or running (depending on my last action). Then there's not getting covered in cum, but I think the bigger issue is the "egg-freezing-Peach-in-place" bug.

Of course I'll add more gameplay in order to be enjoyful. The project has only 11 months of existence and I started developing it almost from scratch (version 1.0j in the first page had 3 levels, I started with 1.0a, 2 levels, and with just two Peach 'posable movements' instead of 41: walking and standing). But I will always repeat here. If Playshapes hasnt done his memorable MIM version, Blargh and I might never have made our versions, and MIM PUT might never reached that far.

Correct. But we can have those doors in the 'star path' who leads to star road'. Or if we dont have this connection, Peach would be able to reach it only using , say, a spaceship.
So double task on E.Gadd. Spaceship to go to star road, AND Spaceship to go to the special world (add-on tasks, not mainstream tasks).

And we can have all 7 stars in the Star Road area. When Peach clicks on them, they can tell her where they were grabbed from in the past (SMRPG).

She wanted to make that a star road to the Star Road hehe. Yes, worldmap, because Peach is not able to walk like this (freedom) in the levels.
HOWEVER. I can make it work (Two planes: road 1, road 2). but Peach wont be going up/down. Only Left/Right in those two paths (one above the other). So peach takes a door or a star door in that area full of blocks then she would appear in the upper floor.

Hey , please stop! Although we can create a STAR HILL on the clouds (world 7), why not creating it in the forest area? (world4). Its more consistent because of SMRPG and because its a star HILL (there are rocks there). Except if we make it a SUB worldmap detached of the main world 7 worldmap (like world6 of SMB3, when you climb the grass castle and reach a nimbus area. So, in MIM PUT, the main 'land of clouds' would be tha 'ground area' and the star hill, the cloud area). Of couse its a comparison. The cloud land is already in the sky.

Wait! Peach should be able to go to the clouds land (world 7) before that (once she finishes world 6), without the star road being needed. After beating world6 boss, the representative can give directions of a star road that can be followed from the clouds (more sense than from the ground). However its also possible to follow that road in the moon. The moon is in the space after all. And near to Rosalina world.

I prefer the star road to be accessible without World9, because World9 is supposed to be a special/bonus world. Once there, the player can see new scenes, new achivements and she can help E.Gadd and Rosalina. So Rosalina might be a special/bonus character too.

Uh, this is really not that big of an issue, but there seems to be a layering problem. Not that I don't mind it, but occasionally when I visit a world, let's say 1-6, Peach has a tendency to have her head behind the a level... uh, not sure what the technical term is, but it's only a minor thing and it only happens when Peach is traveling to a world directly down from another. I think it has to do with how the stuff is layered.

As for Star Hill itself, it's definitely pretty and I honestly can't wait to see more of it. And as for no enemies, yes it will be great to have a peaceful level where not everything is trying to lay Peach down. To have something of a serene level to walk through and enjoy the beauty of it is a breather to say the least and would definitely be a change of pace for sure. And I hear lumas are going to appear there... does this mean I get to see my babies?

And I think this is mentioned before, but will the wishes appear when you walk by a star or are they going to stay there?

No prob. Say, if you guys aren't short a grammar checker, I'll be happy to help you out there. There are a few lines that could be tweaked here and there, some little stuff that's all.

As for below, just a little error when I compiled the Star Hill level. I'll update it. Its a test level anyway.

YES. But beware, I might use other resources (Maybe from PS) Because his Luma has more shades/colors. If his model has tons of curves, I might optimize it or restart from your model, adding shades.

Some green ones will be there, as they're fallen wishes (wishes already accomplished). Then Peach will click on the star. A magical sound will appear and she can read the wishes. Many also liked 1-4. And interesting enough, it was one of the most easy levels to make, and I did it without sketches! I only remembered a SMB3 level (1-3 or 1-5 I think?) and then I've built it.
1-4 is mostly plain. I might make other levels like that. Yes, new scenes will be made with: CHOMPS, CHUCKIES, TOADS, SHYGUYS(more scenes), MUSHROOM DICKS, and Larry (second koopaling).

Quiz is already checking that. He's the main scripter. But if he's busy and you two can agree, you can be a speel checker and more. Just bug him.

Haha, yes.
- E.gadd will be moving impatiently, turning his machines on/off, Like Prof. Edison in The Day of the Tentacle.
- It will have Groping scenes. All due to Peach's curiousity to press that button. She would be embarassed and E-gadd will be just looking at her. E.gadd wont be mocking her or embarassed. Even if she falls with her butt right on his nose, he wont care, he wants to work . "Princess, please, I'm busy'.
- Peach will give him blueprints, in order to 'unlock' the spaceship, as E.gadd needs the blueprints to fix it. THEN she can go to the moon, and, if star road can also be reached like that (more expected), she can reach star road too. Blueprints will be special pieces Peach have to find through the levels.

No problems for me since I'm in the middle of completing the game (although I probably shouldn't know about the second spoiler... whoops).

That's fine, as I said I was bored and wanted to draw one out of it. And yes my design is flat mainly because I'm not familiar with shadows yet (explains my Urchins and Broozer), but it's a base to work with.

OK, so I haven't experienced that when playing RPG. I got the rundown on it, but I kinda wasn't really focusing all that much of the in-game stuff. Or it was there... I just wasn't bothering with the fallen stars. Eh, I rather continue on with the story in RPG and complete it.

Yes you should ;) As for about those fallen stars, you can try to search for Mario Peach saying something to Mario (you are playing as Mario), but, as they're already granted wishes (in Star Hill), and Miyamoto didnt want to put Peach there saying that she loves Mario...I became upset in a way I'll make it (this time, Mario will wish, as we're playing as Peach already).

The wishes you find on Star Road in SMRPG are unfulfilled wished, since Star Road is broken they cannot come true.

Eh, I wasn't playing the game today. And actually it's easy for me to forget things moments after seeing it. Don't need extra help or nothing.

Thanks! It's amazing that I'm actually doing art in Photoshop and really eyeballing everything, trying to replicate it without having to trace over it. And using the Pen tool, something that I hate before and creating these new things from scrap... I wonder why I haven't used this before.
