I must agree with Darthan. Bigger image looks great, but in the smaller image she really has a bit... evil visage. It may be worth revising a bit, since in game there will be small images...

I know what you mean, I've changed it a little bit, (added a smile and relaxed eyebrows) but when reducing the image, the problem persists. I think that with a correct coloring the problem will be solved

I think the problem is the shape of the eyes. Misty had traditional anime eyes, round on the top, flat on the bottom.

The eyes you have now look more like Jessie's than Misty's.

I wasn't suggesting that you make the eyes exactly like the original. I was just trying to point out why the eyes make her look evil, in my opinion. The shape you are using for the eyes is often used for characters that are the bad guys. I really like the picture and was just stating my opinion. Take it how you will.

Okay, Crasy came up with another version of Ninetails, so I decided to try adding it to the poll.
... Unfortunately, that reset all the votes. (whoops!)
Good thing I took a snapshot beforehand.


Anyway, to remedy this, I've extended the voting another week for this pokemon.
I guess we'll have to try this again.

Besides, if you consider how flirty she is in the game, it fits.

I think that has more to do with the shading under her hair.
When scaled down, I guess it might affect her expression.
But the expression itself is fine.
The revised version looks kind of odd at small size,
so I'll probably just take the original version and remove the hair-shadow.
I'd have to anyway when I color & shade it.

... or I might try messing with the viewer and play with the warp tool. But that might be a little too evil. (Warning: Nightmare fuel)

I love her wild hair-do.
And her pose is a unique kind of sexy.
The official info about this pokemon suggests some interesting traits involving a paralyzing poison covering her whole body. Running into her could be interesting.
Also, a Venonat's eyes supposedly have radar-like properties. Koga has a Venonat. So they might often be used by ninjas to evade traps and detect hidden passages.
