Possible. We can see it if a given enemy walks by with hearts raising from him, when Peach is near. But she needs to be clothed or at least covering herself/with apron/something covering her parts.

Actually I prefer the non complex system for now (Peach kissing them in order for them to be seduced - you read STUNNED).

Yes, you are correct. There is some truth to what coolness was saying as well.

However, I feel we are taking the creative ideas thing a little too far. At some point you gotta say: "This is enough". And then you work with the ideas you have. We now have basically all we need to make the game except for scene ideas and maybe a few other things. But no major gameplay elements would need to be added anymore. Or am I wrong in that assumption?

just what quiz said, new gameplay elements should wait a bit more until the game is more completed, so far what matters the most are levels, enemies and sex scenes.

Got what I could done on my project, and my roommate was watching a movie, so I knocked out this one out too.

My thoughts on Peach's behavior towards the chain-chomp is that chain-chomps are basically guard dogs, and as boundless as Peach's love is, doing sexual things with an animal is still a little too much for her sensibilities. Also, the pushing pose can be used as a pulling pose for whorish Peach later on.

Creative Schmiative, as I said. I've been working on the same concept the whole time. Allowing the players style of gameplay to determine what kind of scenes they see, instead of having to enable or disable stuff in a menu. Most of the ideas above have been shot down, or re-thought into a different fashion.
I was never trying to introduce 'new elements' into the gameplay, just put some restrictions on existing ones so that we didn't have to have an options screen full of 'filters' once we start adding all these other scenes (pregnancy, kissing, tentacle, and other fetishes) in! By no means was I expecting ALL of the above ideas to go in, or for a whole bunch of complicated stuff to be added, I was just exploring ways to make the scene handling more intuitive and less 'Click to hide bla bla scenes'. And the fact that people are starting to sound uptight only tells me people were missing the point.

@Ivan - All those things I mentioned I have already talked about before. They weren't new things.

@Thatguy - I actually find it a little strange the idea of peach doing it with what is essentially a Giant Black Dot.
One thing I do have in mind - a creature that big, especially if it's doglike should have a massive long red tongue that's nearly half the size of it'self. Something that can give peach a Full Body Lick, or lick her breasts (jiggle jiggle) or right between her legs! Slobber everywhere!

Well, that may be strange, but keep in mind that Peach (so far) has also done it with a walking mushroom, a cactus-caterpillar hybrid (that has no limbs), and a magic mask.

I can look into other licking scenes, with Ivan's blessing of course. I want to help in all my limited power.

I agree, but this does not mean that ideas should be stopped.

Everyone just has to remember that ideas don't have to be and aren't expected to be implemented right away or even at all.

Okay, so again, this may be me flogging a dead wossaname, and I realize a lot of you may no longer be listening, but I've turned around and simplified it.
Over the past X weeks, these are the suggestions I came up with, in Graphical Form.
Note: These are all different ways of achieving the same thing, the thing I was hoping to achieve, which was the game being able to only show certain scenes in response to gameplay, not to selection on a menu.
and that there would actually be some purpose to trying to maintain Peach's Virginity.

I post this now only cause I realize (now) that I wasn't explaining my thoughts clearly and seamed to have just been confusing you all.

I imagine after all this drama people will shrug it off or say 'Later' or something, but I'm putting it here so that people can look back on it IF they choose to.

Can you explain to me how the Chain Chomp pulls Peach in closer? It has no limbs.

Okay honestly, you are right. And I also wholeheartedly agree with you that I am against far too many filters. Ivan wants to make this game nice for everyone, but you cannot please everybody, so we can best go for what most people want and add a few filters in.

And yes, it's good to explore an idea and pose it to Ivan. I wasn't really thinking that much yesterday. So I am sorry for trying to stop creativity from happening.

Hmmm... yes. That is a great idea. I think this works better than CC trying to pull Peach in to blow him. That isn't very dog-like either. And the more interesting and original the scene is, the better.

I KNOW I'm replying for other people here.
I Think Guy was planning for Peach to move the black dot around, not the black dot pull or push Peach around. I also question a thought that Arf-thing is going to be chained to a spot. So yeah, I'm dubious about it's sexability as well. I can't help but think he's better to use lick attacks. We can only see what Ivan thinks.

As for creativity. I say again - I was never trying to be 'creative' I was trying to solve what I see as a potential problem.
Ivan at current has said that he is 'considering' a number of things. Tentacle rape, pissing, pregnancy, egg laying, lesbian characters, futa - and goodness knows what else! If he plans to implement these things, or even if he doesn't he will still end up with people getting grumpy and as I and a few others have said - you can't just have a survey appear asking "What are you comfortable with".

My suggestions (all be it possibly laden down with too much plot) have all been about how to eliminate such a problem before it becomes a problem, by having the game filter scenes based on how the player plays the game.

Which brings me back to the main point. Ivan either needs to turn around and say "No" to stuff and stop trying to appease everyone!
Or he needs to come up with a strategy to make scene filters seamless. I don't care much how, I've given my suggestions - I'm not going to harp on them and I'm not going to sit here and try to tell people what to do. In spite of sounding cocky and arrogant right now. Which is not my intention. Even though I sound that way... :oops:

On the side note of kissing. I have no grounds on that. Ivan is the one saying that she can use kisses to escape from sex scenes. My option 4 when I thought of it had a physical barrier preventing penetration for x number of monsters. Forcing them to do other things. I always liked the idea of a little bit of romance myself, but Ivan doesn't like the physical barrier idea. I can understand why, it means modifying the sprites or at the very least making a separate underwear item or something (No clue)

I don't know how kisses are supposed to stop monsters either, unless they act like some kind of paralysis attack. :?: :?: :?:

Yeah, I guess nobody, including myself are happy with how the blowjob scene turned out. I'll see if I can figure out a way to have it make sense with Peach resisting it, and if not, just have Peach go for it as a later scene instead. Again, I've been going into this with the idea that Peach is more opposed to sexual things with "animals" than the normal enemies, but that might end up leading the idea to ruin, like trying to explain how a limbless creature pulls her down. I'm going to try and plan some more tongue scenes though, since it works.
Actually, how long can we allow the tongue to be? If it's a certain max length, than perhaps the tongue can be prehensile and hold or grab Peach. Good idea?

Hey, everyone --

This is the first time I've dropped in here in a while, and I noticed that Blargh's project has obviously been shelved in favor of this one. I guess I didn't realize that I liked this one more until I got hungry for updates and actually played it, amiright? Well anyway, the reason I'm posting for the first time in god knows how long is because I'm curious about the gallery. I see there's lots of empty spots, and I hear whispered mentions of far-off enemies I don't ever get to, and none of these are in the gallery. Is that like a motivational thing or is it just a "we'll do it later" deal?

Ideas for enemies and ideas in general sprout much faster than the game progresses. That is what happens when the game is coded by just one person.
So all these enemies you see in the gallery are enemies that will most likely appear in the game, but not until either a later world or until those enemies are complete.

A lot of these already have art for them, but no animations yet in any way, which is the reason you aren't seeing them. So please, keep coming back, they will be completed eventually.

Short answer: yes, buttons in advanced options: Pregnancy: ON/OFF, Futanari: ON/OFF, Tentacles: ON/OFF, ONCE. The whole game will respect this. If they're ON, buttons will appear indicating there are more scenes (like pressing the button to talk with Charlieton or in the throne). If OFF, enemies/friends might talk or just pass by or hurt Peach or shred her clothes.

We can think about creative ways to pull her down! Peach needs to save her kingdom and she will be doing things as she is loyal to toadsworth wishes.

Interesting!! I'll keep it in mind! Short answer for methods:
1- I like it. But I didnt understand 'components already exist'. So SOME enemies can just walk using "?", and Peach will know they will hurt her if they pass by but, forcefully, no sex scenes.
2- I dont plan to remove peach portrait, I really like her and the horny bar mechanics. But why not, I can include one of those hearts at a time below her portrait to indicate those things. I might change the blue one to add a 'kiss' mouth to indicate she can kiss when horny bar is zero. More brainstorming needed.
3- Nice one but I need to make (or delegate to Blargh) one or two 'nice' scenes for each enemy, like Kissing Peach, Hugging Peach, Slapping Peach butt, getting next to her then blinking an eye, making a great jump (heavy enemies) to make the ground tremble (like thwomps), then go away, etc. Really simple scenes, with just one 'press space/shift ' action.
4- We NEED to brainstorm this. So when Peach is back to her castle, she can SEARCH for a given friend and kiss him/her if they want to. Each one cay say :'no, princess, I'm too sad today', or 'yes princess!' . So the player will have to search them. It will have few of them and kisses can accumulate up to 3. (not 5, 10 because it will let the game so easier). More brainstorming needed.

Hmmm... ok, adaptative in-game changes are possible, but how about piranha plants, for example? If a given player need to see tentacles, he just put tentacles=ON in the options and it will be saved in its slot. Then he can see Peach getting screwed right away. So adaptative things SHOULD be used on more direct things (like mood).

I'll check! As for physical barrier, I just want more brainstorming/ideas around this. I dont say I wont be making new scenes only for that, on the contrary! But it just will take more time. As for forcing them to do other things, we can add more scenes like slapping her butt and running away, or something peculiar to each enemy: e.g. shyguys can use their belts to slap on Peach butt, or even run away - they do that last one some games.

Yes, a 'we'll do it later' deal. And as Quiz, said, a lot of these already have art for them (actually I made more than 50% of all of them alone). Game progress is not that fast but its going on steady. I hope this will improve with more incentives (discussion also helps!)

what!!! kissing friends in order to get the hearts !! please no dont make this i would prefer that peach get those hearts in another way cause i want her only for mario (happy ending) lol

Dont worry, we're brainstorming. If this is ever implemented, you can skip those kisses. Its your Peach, the player's Peach. He does with her what he likes to ;)

Yep yep yep, the idea is making the game so that;
If you play screwing everything in sight, you get certain responses.
If you play jumping on everything you get other things.

So if we go the kissing route, you won't be forced to use it. But those who do will get to see stuff.

Some of the new monsters that they've added animations for aren't in the gallery either. So it's a little of column A a little of column B.
Many of the items in the gallery aren't made. But some of the ones made simply haven't been added to the gallery.

How about for a start, we know these things can kinda float. We see them do it in game. So how about just giving them BIGGER nads! Like:

Also afterthought, since in the games these guys are on chains. He could use the chain to trip peach or pull peach towards him...

Also, hm, I don't think this unlocks yet, but eventually you should go back to moleville. You need to buy the Shiney Rock (It's expensive) to open the locked door in Monstro Town... In there is your true challenge.
