Nah, just testosterone pumped "gotta be better" guys who yell and grow longer hair in order to kill each other.
"Thanks to your unfortunate life, I've found myself being more and more grateful!"

"Are you horny? Do you not want babies? Just watch porn!
They'll make you jizz in your pants, so others don't have to!"

the best way to kill a guy is by yelling for 20 minets , have a breif dialog ,grow your hair to show how powrful you are, then blow up the planet only to find some orbs to summon a snarky dragon and with that planet and its inhabitants back ... oh but wait you cant because they have been ressurected to many times .... looks like you have to explore space and find the dragon summoning balls that were on the planet you just blew up .... but uh oh here comes another bad guy while you were looking ..... and re repeat the prosses over again .

I find blunt force trauma or a sharp object applied to a vital organ sufficient.

Screwing around with Trauma and death aside, I think I have an idea that needs refining:

So looking back at the Magical Girl RP idea, with the Player Characters taking the role of the sexualized girls for now, I was thinking of making it fast pace (or as fast as I can think of what kind of encounters and Adventures they get into), but... is there a way to keep things going without running into too much trouble on the wa?

It's better to flow in and out of action. Although I'd advise against a simple "Action, pause, action, pause" pattern, it's sometimes best to punctuate long action sequences with periods of activity that aren't necessarily related to fighting. Conversation, traveling, meeting with an NPC, etc. There are plenty of ways you can develop a story and keep the plot moving without back-to-back slugfests.

That's the most general advice I can give. There's a thousand ways to execute that.

Yea, it's a start though...

Honestly, here's a curious thought: Some people would fake a roll and no one knows the outcome, there any dierollers to note for this?

Renara is at work to create an integrated dice function for the forums for those that use dice mechanics in their roleplays. I'm not sure I have an ETA on its arrival, but when it's implemented, you could use that.

In the meantime, I am sure there's plenty of third-party dice rolling tools, but in the end, you just have to trust someone's word. I personally recommend that the GM alone do the dicerolling for this purpose.

While you're waiting for the integrated dice, there's this site you can use. You roll dice and then it gives you back a page with the results so if you roll a dice, you can show everyone your results. Like this for example. In the end though, it does come down to trust though since you/they have to take your word that this is the first roll you tried instead of trying over and over again until you/they got the result they wanted.

God that must be painful. He'd either have to do some java script trickery where some one rolls and then writes the thing in to their post or make something that gets remembered by the site which would be extremely hard.

If you have a prototype for an idea, then you can take inventory of peoples' interest in it using the Recruitment Thread and hammer it out using the input you gather from there. Once you've established enough to create an OOC thread, it will blossom further from there.

So basically, it's important first of all to have a functional premise/framework for a thread. Enough to actually give people a solid image of your idea. From there, you can present it to others and they'll be able to help you.
