Hello all!

My name is toddymon and I simply wish to welcome you to the thread. Here in ADAP we talk about what develop your tastes in art, what made you want to start down the road of an artist, and what keeps you going! This is a great place to show your own skill, tell us what artists you look up to, show us what inspired you, or even ask for advice from more developed seniors. So have fun, and hope to se some of your incredible stuff!

While I like pretty pictures, I don't think that my like is refined enough to be called taste. I prefer sketch and shaded artwork, and I don't think I can show you what inspired me because it's copyrighted by Wizards of the Coast. My first artful undertaking was recreating an Iron Golem, or War Golem, still to this day I am unsure which, that was depicted in Dungeons and Dragons: Monster Manual Book 3 of 4 (I think its book 3 at least.) My second great masterpiece was a Bullet in the same book, but alas, poor Yorick, mine art is naught!

I am Thaedael, and have plenty of art experience under my belt. These days I continue to mostly through digital media to reduce the cost of artistic production while I continue to study at my university. If you ever need ideas to bounce off of, or critiques, I am your man.

Ah! Wonderful responses, and have no worries whodaman, I doubt any of us can say our inspirations aren't copyrighted of some sort. I just like to know what got us all started. Any work is nice to see of course, no matter how bad it may seem to the artist.
