About uniform in the first district:

Maid: sprite - done / face - done / event - done
Policewoman: sprite - done / face - todo / in progress
Nurse: sprite - todo / face - todo / event - todo
Bunny girl: sprite - done / face - todo / event - done

Arab girl: sprite - done / face - todo / event - done
China girl: sprite - done / face - done / event - in progress

Sera fuku: i'm working on it for the school uniform and the school schedule. Dunno if it will be ready for the first demo.

I'm very excited for your game and from looking at your site and the way you wrote things down there I would like to offer my services. If you are interested I could spellcheck your texts for grammatical error and punctuation. If you are interested I will send you my email and you can send some stuff for me to check.

No offense to your male storyline, but I'll probably be trying to find the quickest way to turn female. xD

BTW, if we turn into a female, can we get these outfits, too? Like the Miko, Sera Fuku, Bunny Girl, etc?

For now, it is impossible to turn into another character/appareance/gender once and for all. The side quest including this feature have a limited time. Once that time is over, you will turn back as you previous appareance.

Technically, it's easy to change outfit. (but it requires quite a lot of time to make all the sprite and faceset...) In fact, this feature is already IG for the male story (even if there's not a lot of possibility for now :/ ).

So, to answer your question, as a girl, in the first district you won't, in the 2nd you will. So, first things first, my priority now is to finish all the arts and events in the first district to put online the first demo.

No permanent female transformation? D'aww, oh well. As long as it's well-done, I won't care too much. I know you're not building the game for me, but I'll still probably check it out once those areas are completed, at least.

As you can probably tell, I much prefer playing female characters to male. xD

Hope i'll find some more personnal time in the next days to add more of what i was planning at first. :ugeek:

Hello all,

As promised, the first Demo of Urban xlife is now online.

Well, i didn't have much time to work on this game recently, so i'm not content with the result: i wanted to finish the first district but instead i had to remove some events and art for this first demo to make sure there would be not too much bugs (and because i didn't have the time to complete them).

So yeah, IT IS a demo and there's a lot of things missing and i'm still looking forward to some art from other artist to complete this first district.

About the main story of the game right now, it ends at "The hood part 8" in this demo.
About the game, you can hide/show the clock with the CTRL key if needed.

The game is quite some big, it is not meant to be played with old PC (if so you may experience some lags).

I didn't Credit all the musician yet, i will do it soon.

I plan to make regular update to eradicate any bugs quickly and at least a big update (with more content) monthly. My real goal is the 2nd district, so consider this demo as the beginning of the game and the story.

Anyway, thanks for all the feedback you could do. Thanks to report all the bugs here:

It tells me it cant find VL Gothic font :S]

Never mind I needed the RPG Maker ^^

k first bugg, I was 2 late at the bakery for my job and it kept repeating the text and I couldnt end it. had to restart.

Update

V0.1a02

- Remove the VL Gothic font
- the girl (at night) near a "telepone booth" should act normaly
- the baker should not tell you to come back again (you'll be teleport outside the bakery)
- after the p2 and if you met the prerequite, the p3 should initiate correctly

1. The yellow haired man sitting on the bench in front of popol will challenge you to a card battle on the first day, but the following days he no longer responds.
He appears to begin working again after you report to the police.

2. Entering the comic book store always changes time to around noon.

3.After doing bakery job and receiving your reward from popol, if you go to the bakery and speak to the npc a couple times, then accept the job again the following day, when you speak to her, instead of receiving an address the text just ends and you end up stuck and unable to move.
After testing it some more, doesn't seem to be related to speaking to her. Ended up stuck again after doing the quest a bunch of times.

4.Inside the BB Hyper building, if you slap the guard's ass while standing to her left, you walk into the wall and end up stuck/unable to move.

5.In pokecard battles, the later card's use the earlier card's skills. Example, Charmander using vine whip and flamethrower for two attack bonuses. Also noticed, some of the enemy's skills are being used by my monsters.

Might edit post again soon after confirming possible glitches.

It was meant this way because of the Hood P3. I'll look for a more "natural way" later for that.

Big bug here. I think i understand where the problem is. Should be fixed in v0.1a04

You shouldn't have been able to slap her ass from the left. Will be fixed in v0.1a04 ;)

It's ok with normal skill, it was build that way to add more strategic combo and the battle faster.

Also noticed, some of the enemy's skills are being used by my monsters.


If the enemy is different from your cards, that's a bug. Will need some times to be fixed.

Okay, I figured out where the bug is. When Nidorina uses Acid Force, it increases my card's attack instead of the opponents.

Also, I'm assuming the sewers aren't completely done, so you're probably aware that you can walk through entire walls and across water in some areas down there. Also appears to be a couple areas you can't walk through even though there's a path.

The two buildings next to the pigtails club, you can walk through the upper wall between the elevators in both of them. And the building to the right's elevators transport you to the left building inside the wall.

That shouldn't be. I must have done something wrong with the sewers. I'll fix that. But tell me, i'm quite surprise you already have all this money. Did you get all this the regular way, the glitch way or with another programm? Just need to know to adapt the difficulty.

Yes, there is a hidden prereq that should have been here from the start.
