This ain’t the last you’ll be seeing of us, kid!” she shouts before recalling Zubat and turning tail and running. They both seem to have dropped some PokeYen too, about 800 in total. Not a bad haul. You should probably see if the Store Keeper’s OK since she was the initial victim of all this.

Her smile drops a little as Steve starts to chew out Duo though. “Oh! Ya don’t know the full story. I drew ‘im in with promises of Protein and Rare Candy and all that shit, so that’s what he’s talking about. Nel was the one who had everything for real though.” As if on cue, she turns to see Granite holding Nel’s backpack in his mouth. He must’ve scooped it up from where Nel threw it earlier when everyone was hauling ass outta there.

“Alright, which one of us ate out Lady Luck, cause the bitch is GOOD to us right now!” She opens the backpack and pours the contents out, slowly as to not damage anything. Frankly, I’m surprised Nel hasn’t sent someone lookin’ for us by now.

Luckily for you, seems Leon's long gone, not wanting to make things any worse, so you make it to the Dining Room, where you last saw Mistress Madeline. It looks like he welcomes them though, making no effort to hide them like Mistress Madeline does with black hair dye. He's solidly built, but that comes with the territory of being a Pokemon Rancher, though he's slighter than you remember. He must be going more into the management aspect of it than the hands on stuff. He's more than lightly tanned though, so you can tell he's not out of the fields just yet. The Mistress seems a little less pleased with whatever Master Lorux is laughing at, but not upset by any means. There's not even a frown on her face just yet, though it would fit since she has a rather severe look when she's not smiling. When she is though, there's a radiance in it that outshines the frigidness her normal look might bring. She's of a slighter build, a little less solid than Master Lorux, but still enough on her bones to suggest that she does get her hands dirty ever once in a while. It's a blue moon thing though since she doesn't even have a tan, her pale skin almost shining for the lack of color. Master Lorux sees you first.

“Well, hey th...” he stops midsentence as he takes in the look on your face. “What's the matter, Lisa? Does it have something to do with the creep from earlier?” Mistress Madeline gives him a slightly smug look and you can guess that's what they were discussing before you came in. Lorux has always been odd for being such a rich man: ego either nonexistent or entirely backed up by his actions, caring to a fault for anyone who catches his eye, sharp as a tack but just as willing to act dull as a rounded edge if someone looks like they want him to. It's like the personality of a more humble man was transplanted into someone who's supposed to be insufferable for all the money he makes. You can bet that between him and Mistress Madeline, a plan for what to do with Leon could be in the works.

On Route 112:

Alexis just gives Duo a raised eyebrow for his comment on “the talent of luck” and sighs when he apologizes. “I was the bad guy at the time. No apologies needed.” she says dully, shaking her long red hair as she shakes her head. She gives Steve a curious look and a slight laugh when he says he's extremely motivated to beat Flannery but says nothing else. Seems she's got the same idea you do about that “Prize”. “Anyway, since no one objects, I'll just be takin' most of the shit here.” she picks out 3 Potions, remembering Steve's request to be saved at least 1, 2 PokeBalls, a Great Ball, the Super Potion, and her old PokeDex back, storing them in her newly liberated backpack. “Alright, now we REALLY need to get outta here before we get followers.” she says, turning and leading the way, giving Steve just a short amount of time to pick up the remaining items so they can move on. It'd be a safe bet to Duo that she probably left the Protein alone on purpose for him.

Plus, no telling how many pokemon we'd be outnumbered by."
