Alright! I'm starting my posts up since it's an extraordinarily slow day at work (not that I'm complaining!). I'm missing posts from dragonmaster, ToG, Icaelus, Diablos, Jay, and Reaper though.

I'll be making my post as soon as possible been a little crazy round here last few days... Don't help much I cant figure out the wording for my battle the way I want it call it writers block if you will.

Ah. That's a suckish thing. Well, Dax's post should've made things a little easier for ya if that's any help. Truthfully, with the way he did things, I could write up a post for the both of you, so if you can't make the deadline, don't sweat it too much

the only thing that's coming to mind is using Larvitar's weight in the battle but I'm drawing a blank how to do it... oh ya some thing else I wanted to ask in here if anyone can come up with a cool nickname for my pokemon feel free to tell me.

A nice name for a Larvitar would be "Faust", as it sounds slightly intimidating and isn't cleche like "Demon, T-Rex or Beast". Just my two cents.

Since this has been happening a lot and I haven't really punished it yet, I'll throw this out there:

It's against a Pokemon's inbred instincts to attack a human unless their or their trainer's life is at stake


Like I said, I haven't punished this yet, but as the story goes on, I either will or make it increasingly obvious that your Pokemon's starting to view harming humans as not such a big deal, which it really can be. Just lettin' ya'll know.

Question: What if the Pokemon's trainer is being threatened by another human? Last time I checked, a Pokemon that has been domesticated and assigned to a trainer will protect them to the end, but there are situations where that may conflict with the "never harm humans" thing. In such a situation, what takes priority for them?

What's the idea for battle? Like if we're catching a pokemon, should we just make it faint and then throw a pokeball, or should we try to keep it from fainting? And if we keep it from fainting, will you tell use every time we use an attack? What about critical hits? Critical captures (introduced in Gen 5). If the pokemon doesn't stay in the pokeball, do we lose it or can we reuse it?

In order:
--The idea is basically be as descriptive as possible for bonus points on whatever you're doing. Telling me Mudkip's using Tackle is enough for me to work with, but describing how she weaves through the tall grass to confuse her opponent before launching into their gut with a momentum powered blow is leagues better!
--You can do either, but it's recommended you do it while it's conscious since capturing it after knocking it out is a dick move that WILL cause the captured Pokemon to disobey you or flat out run away once outside the PokeBall a LOT more often.
--With every attack, I'll give you a general idea of how the Pokemon is doing. Like I'll say "Zigzagoon seems wobbly on its feet, like it's fighting just to stay conscious after your last attack." or "Poochyena is standing tall, almost completely unaffected by Mudkip's actions."
--How often a critical hit occurs is based on both luck and how descriptive you are. Like, for instance, I randomly pick a number from 1 to 10 and, say, if it's 9 or 10, it's a critical. The more descriptive you are, the more numbers are included up to 6-10 or just plain out auto critical if I feel the move deserves it.
--This is Gen III, so Critical Captures aren't a factor just yet. Maybe if it's pitched to me right...
--You know, I never got why the PokeBall broke when you failed to catch a Pokemon in game. I mean, unless the thing EXPLODES, you should still be able to use it, right? So you can reuse it so long as you can recover it. And you can bet a Pokemon won't let you get it back in the heat of battle all that easily. Hell, it might crush the Ball itself. That's pretty much the only situation other than the Ball falling off a cliff or something that you can't reuse a failed Ball.

Yup! The schedule is I post every 2-3 days if I'm able, every 3-4 days if I'm not. Right now, the next post is scheduled for Tomorrow, but if things go pear shaped, it can be as late as Tuesday before I post. I don't foresee that happening, but you never know.
