I'm host a server. I haven't updated it in month so it's really out of date. I told thae and bhorn id likely not be able or willing to update it and I gave them both a admin account and a password. The only email from b I got on the subject was a reasonable request for the map which I was to lazy to get to. I believe b is using her brothets server. I told zues id give him a password and name to get in to my server in case he wanted to do cross linking between the servers.

I kept the ip from every because I didnt want to deal with the pain of griefers until I had some mods up and running.

For my last server (old core 2 duo, 528 MiB RAM), I could make many chunk updates without lagging, but as soon as 3 people signed on, it would crap out.

For this one, I've tested it with 2 people causing maximal chunk updates in separated locations. It seemed to perform okay. If you two (and maybe a few others) want to sign on to test the setup in normal play, I'd be down. If so, let's plan out a time (via pm).

You can always pm me. I have three tests I perform to determine server break points before settling on them.

How many people play at any one time? Are there big 8-person parties, or does it stay around 1-3? My old laptop (right now acting as a server) can host 3 people somewhat reasonably, so it's a possibility.

the usuall is 3 ppl, but at times the number increases to 5-6 or so

I haven't done any minecraft server management in the past, but I'm experienced at all things Linux. If all I need to do is drag mod.jars, I'm up for it.

In theory drag and drop tech is above your pay grade. However they changed their GUI and i haven't used it since then so i don't know.

Well i was getting the same error message as last time. However both times i reset my password so i'm assuming it might have something to do with that or the fact i recently payed the bill. Anyways remind me to check to see if i can get in on sat. If i can't i'll send in a ticket.

So Berserk's not hosting anymore, I don't know what Happened to Blue's server (stopped hosting due to low traffic maybe? Idk) And I don't know what Zeus is doing. So LoK doesn't have a Minecraft Server. I've been reduced to server hopping! (TT---TT )

God lazy and lack of communication. Really all it needed was a server update.
I am right now contacting customer support so i can get access to it again. Problem on their end.

All right. I have my server running FTB MindCrack.

It's able to handle 3 comfortably, and I haven't been able to test with more than 3. Server lag issues are worse than vanilla, but still barely noticeable above network lag (I notice it because I am 3 ms away from the server).
