There's really everything here that makes any other forum great and I actually find there's a lot more fun to be had in participating than spectating. Even if nothing seems to intrigue you at first, just starting to make posts and getting involved might spark your interest in something you had never thought of before. Roleplaying, perhaps, or even starting up your own creative project.

Yes, definetely. Though I do tend to like roleplaying, I simply lack the time for it, so it's kinda too bad I can't really do that. Except for that, I've already started helping out a bit at MiM PUT, just designing a ghost house level and helping Shin out with his game. It's a good forum to roam around, so I think I might become one of those people with +1,000 posts. *as long as this forum stays this way, ofcourse.*

Well, your internet sucks then. Or you suck. Or perhaps both.

Probably both.

It's been this way for a couple years (I'd actually estimate 18 months or so), so I certainly hope it stays this good. If it starts to decline, I'll fight tooth and nail for it!

Touching on my request from earlier, would it be a good idea to compile a list of safe websites and quality games in a sticky? It would serve as a useful tool for the regulars and keep new members coming back. It would also give us an opportunity to endorse a lot of LoK games that most people never even knew existed!

Cool idea, but is any game allowed, or only created by fans/indie developers?
Since the one game I would recommend is Alicesoft's Rance series.

And we need to get more games on LoK known. Especially MiM PUT.

Anything fappable I'd say xD
I think it would be acceptable if we just posted links to offsite material. LoK stuff we could probably embed just like creative corner flash projects. I'd really like to get a mod's opinion before bringing this thread horribly off topic lol :8 if people are interested I can try to move this to LoK discussion or creative corner or something

If you wanted to compile a list of off-site games, you'd want to separate free and non-free games.

As well, it would probably be fine to include all developers, but you can even separate or put credits in the page to indicate them as such.

I'd reccomend not linking to website that promote diffusing full versions of games meant to be bought, include the author so when you purchase the money goes directly to them, and then we would be sitting pretty.

Those are both solid ideas. Where can we make it happen?

It would probably go into Creative->Discussion, but it could also fit in General.

By the way, considering how much of this has gone off-topic, wouldn't it be an idea to make a General Chat thread, to fit these kinds of posts in?
This way we can keep this one on-topic better and it allows us to just... talk about stuff, no matter what.

If you want, that'd be fine, but New Members Introduction seems like the kind of thread where new members come to chat with others in the forum.

Yeah.. I take the blame for that one.. Sorry! Lol. Conversation may give people a place to jump in though. Then again it may discourage people, I'm not sure. Lets hear it from a new guy! Had this thread gone too ridiculously off topic??!???!?

Definetely, but outside of this topic people are still nice, luckily it's not like it's a harsh world outside of here, haha.

There are countless users here worth making friends with. In the (comparatively short) time I have been here, I've become friends with a great many and all of them are interesting people. Just be nice, and most people will be nice in return!
