IvanAedler is already planning on including a switch for that in the options menu.

Enough. I will remake all bobombs.
I've been creating bobomb buddies and I got one of the most impressive optimization so far ;) See for yourself.
(YES, thats it. 1898 curves to.....11!) Thats because the default bobombs were made using Flash Brushes. I've updated all bobomb parts too. Its just a matter to enter in each of your bobomb parts and copy/paste LAYERS (in order not to lose layers).

PS: I know the bobomb buddy is bigger than bobomb. Just adjust his scale.

Update for January 25, 2013:
- Fixed the corrupted sound effect at the title screen
- The Blarghling at the title screen now gets more screen time, and a more tragic end. :(
- The Ghost House finally has platforming.
* Zoom out is recommended for the fewest leaps of faith.
* The actual reward for getting to the end will come next time. I don't mean to be a tease.

I didn't realize the bombs bothered you that much. :) Hmm...maybe you shouldn't look at Ladybow. You might explode, and not in the good way. >_>

Okay, now more than ever I'ma need to get those other levels from you. If I'm going to go whole hog on animating, I'm gonna need a place to put everything first.

As far as I do know, there should be a .SOL file somewhere, and it should be named something like "MiMsave.sol". Since it doesn't recognize the save when you move the SWF to a new folder, I'm guessing it's hidden in the same folder as the SWF.

Blargh! Just one notice. I've unified all screens (you know, character select, score1, smb1, smb2, ending, theend, etc), in only ONE screen. It uses only one SCENE1 frame (labeled "screen_selector"), and, inside it, the first frame goes to a given column - gotoAndStop("_root.screen_selector"). So I can call a given screen that way:

_root.screen_selector="theend"; //or any other layer name you want to call there
_root.gotoAndPlay("screen_selector");


You dont need to use both codes in some screens (like going from SMB1 to SMB2), just that one below.
_parent._parent.gotoAndPlay("smb2"); // or _parent.gotoAndPlay, if your code is a ON-OBJECT in a Button symbol, not a pure MC symbol.

So the layers are much optimized and faster now, because, in all scene1 frames, I use only three (preloader, title screen and that selector). All others are level frames ;)

Not the bobombs themselves...dont blame them. Its only...their curves (no pun intended) :lol: ...points... those things cause lag :/
I'm not excessive. Say, converting all graphics from 100 to ...70 curves wont give anything good to us, therefore that is not a good excuse. But 1000 to 11? Come on! ;)
Remember that, when we have 6000 or more curves/points total in a given screen, the game starts to crawl in a linear or even in an exponential way if they're movie clips.

Ladybow? Oh yes. I can optimize her in ...say...10 minutes. Its not big deal! (EDIT: But i havent done it because... I want to deliver her when you are ready to make some scenes) ;)

Dont say any letter further! I'll PM you this night with YOUR level 2-1 (desert area). Once you 'get the catch of it' , I send you all other levels. I prefer to send each level in a separate FLA for speed purposes (but if you prefer, I can also upload just a master FLA full of levels). Just tell me which theme you want beforehand (dont forget I also have x-naut labs). I only ask you not to touch with library names for a while. I've been organizing them day by day. Some are in [UNCATHEGORIZED] folder.

Blargh, seeing you take off in making tons of animations, I WILL PRODUCE EVEN MORE enemies and levels in a way we may have one of the most complete and feature-rich indie xxx game ;) Remember I've got so far BECAUSE of you, man!

I've been playing it today, and there seems to be something wrong; you can't unlock all of the Goomba scenes, and even if you lay every single goomba on your way to the castle, it still says "Virgin" ending....

Maybe there could be a way to adjust Peach's ass size as well? Just a suggestion. I've been lurking for forever with that question, and I thought it may never happen if I didn't ask.

i was curious and i never saw this get posted before i think.. but is there a way to implement the "hooker suit" peach from another version of this game, and possibly add a smoking fetish option? i've lurked for over a year now and i figured it couldn't hurt to ask..

hey! i saw this picture and saw a great opportunity, maybe you could add something like that, a boss which power is to make everyone rape the princess, and if you evade the beam you get to have lesb. encounter with her

what do you think?

I'll think about it. I'm not really having issues with them that need optimizing at the moment.

Thanks again for the level. I'll be adding it after the Ladybow hidden scene and working on scenes for Pokey and Phanto next, although deep underwater and the sub are also adjacent. <_<

It's working for me. Did you enter Morton's Castle and then go back to Mushroom Kingdom and then return to Morton's Castle? Because that will reset the counter and give you the Virgin ending.

Everyone is already raping the Princess, though. >_> The best I would do would probably be to have it at the start of a boss scene as a reason for the scene to start. <_<

A good thing is that you can also unify everything inside Control List itself, instead of creating a new screen MC! Then you put the control list centered in the 'blue' screen square (the canvas color area, not the camera) in the stage, in frame3 of scene1 (because frame 1 is preloader and frame 2 is the title), with control codes (which will navigate inside in the right frames of the new extended controlList).
That way, you can also recompile the code to use less dimensions (like 628x400 in game properties, I've tested here). The game becomes faster because the default screen is smaller in the browser. Then, instead of modifying every screen, you just re-scale controlList in that frame3 to fill up the smaller screen (blue) area.

Does it speed up FLA load times/compile times? Because then I'd do it right away. ;)

I know about a lot of fetishes, but I've never once heard of a smoking fetish before. How does that work?

YES! But hmmm...maybe 2 to 3%. However!!! You will be adding new screens easier, and you can align them better, because its just a matter of duplicating the former frame in a new one, instead of browsing along the scene1 frames. ;) And dont forget, you can change document canvas size (screen size) from 942x600 to, say, 628x400. You will just need to scale the first three screens: preloader, title and the master screen MC in layer 3. The rest will all be aligned with the new dimentions automatically. The game will be faster in the browsers of one-core computers.

capnolagnia is the term you're looking for. to avoid potential trouble for posting links that aren't allowed i'd just say google it or search for porn of it. its out there. LOTS of it. wouldn't mind seeing peach light one up after a scene either. lol, besides after all the action she gets in a normal day of this game, i think she deserves a smoke, don't you?
