Claire sighs. She puts her cigarette out and throws the rest of it away. "I need to stop smoking. Filthy habbit." she says. She stands up and walks out the door. Once she is out of the room, she closes the door. Claire walks in the direction of the elevator. She presses the button to signal the elevator. She leans against the wall next to the entrance of the elevator as she waits. When the elevator finally shows up, Claire walks in. She presses the button to go up to Mr. Winter's floor. Afterwards she walks to the back of the elevator, and resumes her leaning position. Claire croses her arms and closes her eyes. She taps her foot rhythmically.

Millie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The woman on the roof at first didn't really get your message. However, when you pulled out the pen and started writing on the wall she began to get the picture. From your invitation of standing back for her to come down she relaxes her hold on the rifle. "Any funny business and I shoot."

She takes a look around the gas station before proceeding to jump down. Seeing nobody else, she straps the gun around her, sets herself down on the dumpster and touches the ground same level as you. She swings the gun back around and keeps it pointed at you and turns her head to face the wall you wrote on.

"Food." She takes a look at the beans on the floor and back at you. She lowers the gun.

"You're not SA, are ya?"

Suraru
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Grabbing the guy and taking him down on the table caused the legs of the table to break making the table collapse. You hear the men in the back cheering. "Woo! Kick his ass!"

The pyro, recovering from your tackle punches you straight in the face and kicks you off of him. Both of you climb back to your feet, dukes up. He swings a few jabs, which you block, and goes for a right hook which you don't see coming. It smacks you against the wall and you can taste blood, your lip was busted open slightly. Son of a bitch!

Garian Jorell
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Riley grumble, she clearly didn't agree with what you guys had to say. "Both of you men are nothing but pussies, were out numbered and out gunned. We need to start taking risks if were going to win this." She was clearly very annoyed at the moment. She stormed off into the storage room and slammed the door behind her. Both you and Carter look at each other.

"You know how Riley is, just give her time to cool off and she'll understand." Carter thought for a moment. "I know where she's coming from but were already taking enough risks as it is, we need to think about this carefully." He looked over at the storage room door then back at you. "Anyway, I'm sorry you had to get involved in that. Eat up and get rest, we have a big day tomorrow."

Cae
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Entering the Witch Doctor's clinic your suddenly hit with the extreme and pungent smell of rotting flesh. The place is quite a mess, medical supplies and blood all over the place. You hear a man shuffling in the back room.

"Hold on a minute!" He yells from behind the door. He then swings it open and staggers over to you, trying to avoid tripping over the clutter on the floor. "Sorry about the disarray that is my home, but when you work so much there's not really anytime to clean." The Witch Doc, as most people called him, was a bit of a loon. He dressed oddly and always talked very fast. However, even though he was a little insane he knew how to fix somebody right up.

He takes a glimpse of the boy on your back. "I'm guessing he's the patient then, please, lay him on the bed." He pulls back a curtain to reveal a gurney. You set the boy down and the doc gets a closer look at him. "Ahh Steven, the orphan boy. How did he end up like this?" You tell the recent events you witness and he nods. "Alright, if you want me to fix the boy it will cost a small fee. You can leave him with me and when he's better I'll send him on his way."

When you set the boy down he started to become oriented again. He takes a look at you manages to mutter a thank you.

Dax Sierra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

James eyes gleam and a smile formed on his face. "Yeah, we could shoot up one of em' raider groups nearby, finally see some action. We do that, word will get around and maybe that will get us a few new supporters." He leaned forward. "I know you and Terri are on scavenge duty tomorrow, see if you can scout the area, get a better idea of what were up against."

You look at the clock on the wall, it's getting late, probably should head off to sleep sometime soon.

Claire Jones
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The elevator reaches the top floor. You exit the elevator and it shuts noisily behind you going down to another level. You walk down the hallway to the door labeled Mr. Winter's office with a bodyguard next to it. The body guard is Buck, Mr. Winter's right hand man. He's less brains and more muscle. He's not very attractive, dark skin, bald, tall, and even though he's very ripped his body is covered with scars from mutant claws and bullet wounds.

You nod at the man and he knocks three times on the door. "Claire is here to see you." You hear a response from inside the room. "Send er' in."

Buck opens the door allowing you to enter and he shuts it behind you. You always enjoyed Mr. Winter's office. Most of the furniture in the room was antique pre-war items. He has an expensive desk and he always sat in his favorite leather chair. There was a medium sized bookshelf with scotch on top of it and the walls were covered with artistic paintings. The room itself was not very well lit, but that's what, in a sense, tied the room together.

Mr. Winter was not a man to be messed with. 5 years ago another man by the name Kenny ran the Merc Corp, long story short Mr. Winter took the chance to challenge the boss, killing him in a 1 on 1. He knew how to run the business better then anybody could. The men feared and envy him, the girls fall for him. He's a well dressed, powerful, rich, and good looking young man, and although some people question his age (being only 26) they soon realize that it doesn't matter.

"Claire! Welcome, please have a seat," he says with a smile. He's sitting in his chair and he gestures you to sit on the couch across from him. You can tell that he's trying to avoid looking at your irresistible breasts, it's killing him. He always liked you. Ever since you started working for merc corp you've almost never turned down a job, getting all of them done. Your young age and commitment show how far you can probably make it in the business. He also has a bit of a lust for the younger woman. "I have a job for you," he says trying to remain as professional as possible.

Mr. Winter would look something along these lines:

It's going to take more then a punch to keep my drunk ass down! I continue swinging, aiming mostly for the gut, but jukeing a few times toward the face. By now, I have tunnel vision, increasing my accuracy at the cost of not seeing most of any hooks he would throw.

Millie shakes her head. The only faction she is part of is her's. She moves back to the wall and writes "Wanderer", and under that she scratches "Return gear?", then backs up again and looks at her. Or rather looks past her back at the food, she is really hungry. She limits herself to one meal right before she sleeps, and one when she wakes up, while trying to find and drink water whenever she can, only using her bottles when no other source is found.

"That's a plan James! I'll go tell Terri. I'm sure I can scare her around here somewhere. Then I need to hit the sack. Its getting pretty late. That goes for you to James. One more hour and then bed. I need everyone at top efficiency." He said with a bit of sternness in there. He wasn't neccasarilly the leader of the little group but they all trusted him and he did order them around abit with jobs and duties. Mostly though they all told each other what to do and it was very streamlined. A leader would have to be decided though once the group grew... or else it would be chaos. He left James and went looking for Terri checking her room first,"Hey Terri? Scavenge duty is now a recon mission too."

Garian sighed and looked at Carter and shook his head, "What she wants is suicidal, but I can see where she is getting at." He said and then started towards the door, "I'm going on recon, maybe I can find their supply route. If I do, we can have a better plan that just sitting around and waiting to either be attacked or our reinforcements to come. It beats sitting around anyway." He turned around and looked at them before smiling, "When I get back, I'll take that much needed rest and the food to go with it." He then turned away and started off, out the door, and towards the nearest marked outpost. He'll have to stay silent and in the dark so that their guards don't see him.

Cae grimaced. The cloying scent of gore and flesh was thicker than a brick wall. For just an instant, she thought she'd might have found the home of a butcher or a cultist, but then again, the witch doctor wasn't the most sanitary healer. The android sighed quietly. She missed the spick-and-span nature of Pre-War doctors, but wasn't about to complain as long as the eccentric man in the robes and mask patched the boy up without giving him sepsis. Not wanting to offend the doctor, she avoided commenting on the state of the house, but was unable to wipe the scrutiny from her face as she plodded inside ever carefully, navigating to the bed. She was worried something that squirmed or bit would crawl into her shoe. With due caution, she placed the wounded kid down on the gurney. The stretcher was torn up, but at least it wasn't infested with bugs. As she recounted what had transpired, she was already pulling her open bag for the supplies the stranger had given her. Again, she pondered why he had been so generous.

She would have paid with her own items if it was necessary, but it would have cost her an arm and a leg. Probably quite literally. Once, she almost had to barter away her right forearm to avoid starvation.

"Here, I hope this is enough." said the android, handing over the water and bag of supplies. She looked down at the boy, now knowing his name. Steven the orphan. She roiled with sympathy; it was a terrible existence to lose one's parents. Although Cae hadn't been born, the bond she'd fostered with Dr. Veyen -- the human who had pioneered her design -- and the kind members of her team was like family. To know that their fate had either been to perish when the bombs drop or succumb to old age or injury in the Post-War world was a fact that wore on her bitterly. They were all gone, one way or another, and yet Cae hadn't even known their last will. What would they have wanted her to do? The android's expression darkened visibly. She nodded her head understandingly, wishing she had the resources to help the boy. Fairtown was a monstrous town, but for good reason: the only ones who would ever rise to power were dictators and warlords, and to place others above yourself in the Great Ruins was suicide.

And yet she still could not understand why so little had been done to help children like Steven. It was as if their greatest crime was just being born.

She crossed her arms, looking to be in thought as she eyed Steven, flashing him a reassuring smile.

"He'll be okay, right?" she questioned the doctor first of all. She trusted the doctor, but probably wouldn't at ease until she got an answer.

"What is his story, anyway? Who were his parents?" she added, unable to contain her curiosity.

Millie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

She reads the words "Wanderer" and relaxes a little, the moment was a lot less tense. After you write the next words on the wall she replies "Yeah go ahead."

She moves out of your way as you go over to your supplies and goods and start putting them back where they were.

"Well the names Julia", says the women, "who might you~" she is interrupted by the sound of the gas station door opening. It came from the other side at the front. "Umm, hold that thought." She climbs back to the top of the roof from the dumpster pulling herself up.

Suraru
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your fury of punches are too fast for the raider too dodge. A few good blows to the gut send him down on his knees gasping for air. He is almost finished, one final hit will probably knock him out.

While standing over the raider you hear the man who came in before enter again. "What the fuck are you limp-dicks doing! I said get the fu~" he stops. He takes a good look at you as your standing over his comrade. "Who's this bozo kicking Jacky's ass?" he asks one of the pyros.

"Just some random fucker trying to start trouble boss." says the lackey raider. The pyro who entered stairs at you coldly.

"Give me on good reason not to burn your ass right now?"

Garian Jorell
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Alright, just be careful, it's getting dark," Carter advises you. You give a nod showing you understood him exit the building.

The cool night air blows against your face and you zip up your overcoat a little higher to stay warm. You start to walk off taking a look at the roof with nobody there. Where was Julia? Then you see her climb from the back of the building up to the roof. What was she doing back there?

Cae
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The odd doctor accepts the goods and sets them on his overflowed workbench. He begins to do a examination of the boy, checking his temperature and physical well-being.

When you asked your question the doctor quickly replied "yes yes yes, he will be fine, jus' need res' is all. The doctor walks over to an ice chest and opens it. Full of limps and other body parts from both human and creature. He grabs some ice, puts it in a plastic bag, and sets it on the boys areas of swelling.

When you asked who the boys parents were he thought for a moment before answering. "I don't know anything bout' the boys father, but mother was a shopkeeper here in Fairtown. She used to own the general goods store I believe, but some raiders shot up the place few years back. He looked down at the boy, he's been on the streets since he was 5." He looks up from the boy at you. "You actually do look a lot like her, but she was older and less strange looking." Strange looking? He must have thought the antennae on your head was quite odd. Funny coming from a man dressed in robes living in a messy home/work place.

He looked back down at the boy. "I've seen him a few times here. Steven seems to get into trouble quite often and once and awhile stealing from the wrong person can end up badly."

Dax Sierra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The rooms door is open, with nobody inside. She must still be at the maintenance room working on those ventilation shafts. Before you head off to continue looking for her you already see her walking down the hall towards you. Funny how that worked out.

Her cloths and skin are covered in grease and dirt. She is a little sweaty and her tank top is sticking to her pretty tightly showing most of her great figure.

"Oh hey Dax, what's up?" She stops next to you smiling, she didn't expect seeing you again tonight but you can tell it doesn't bother her. Always nice to have company of a good friend.

Oh shit. Quick! Think of a respectable excuse!
"Because your man over here put up a hell of a fight, I can't remember the last time someone got a hook on me like that. If you pyro boys give medals, this guy, right here! this guy!" He says picking the guy he just threw down, back up, patting him off. "Oh ya, and he owes me a beer now, I won"

Dax looked in the room hoping to see her maybe settling down to hit the hay as well and instead found an empty room... damn. As he was about to leave though he spotted her coming down the hallway towards him illuminated in the strip lighting the lined the corridors of their little bunker. The lighting made her body shine with the grease and shimmer. Though that wasn't what caught his eye. He was staring more at the way her tanktop stuck to her like a glove. He blinked as she approached and finally answered her,"Well um.. James and I were just talking and we think that we should start doing something around here. To make a name for ourselves. I suggested we take out a raider group. So tomorrow's scav duty is also a recon mission so pack accordingly." He pauses for a moment and sums up his courage,"Hey Terri? Before... what else where you going to ask?" He asked abit nervously.

Cae nodded. That was what she wanted to hear.

She watched the doctor work his craft in silence, cocking an eyebrow at the ice chest full of body parts. She tried not to judge; maybe they would help someone one day or another if they... uhh... lost a limb? She took a few steps closer, navigating through the mire of rubbish and unsavory articles to get to the bed at the boy's side. He was terribly beaten, but the android was confident in the eccentric doctor. No matter which way she looked at the kid, she still just saw a young boy. He was already starting to develop the rough, callused skin and the livery of scars that were the hallmark of boys just a few years older than him, yet he did not seen a thug or a raider in him. In the end, he was just a boy, doing what his instinct told him to do in order to scrape by the day. The android bit the inside of her lip, leaning one arm on a battered metal cart that was nearby. Hearing of the boy's history, she started to wonder what kind of people they were like. There weren't too many charmers in the Post-War world, but Cae always knew honest humans when she saw them.

She wouldn't know, but neither would the boy. That was what struck her. From age five, he'd been out on his own. He wondered if he even remembered his mother or father, beyond the very faintest wish that the comfort and stability they had sheltered him with would return. The robot sighed again, barely able to contain the disappointment and the bitter regret in her breath. There was just not enough to go around, and when that was the case, humans would turn to selfishness. Altruism became selfhood as the necessities became impossible to spare, and through that was bred violence, greed and war over what little remained. She had always been haunted by the plight of third-world countries in the Pre-War era, and had always implored government officials she met to send more services their way. Yet now, she was in the thick of it. And there was so little she could do as just one person. One unit. She nodded thoughtfully, a little curious at the comparison between herself and Steven's mother. Unconsciously, she scratched the antennae on her head.

"It seems like it's really common around here." she remarked. She was not familiar with Fairtown, having wanted to spend as little time in it as possible when circumstances took her here, but the signs of poverty were clear on every street. A more relevant topic crossed her mind again: the stranger.

"Are you familiar with a man wearing a regulator and an... wait, actually..." Cae cut herself off from describing the stranger as she spotted a clipboard with a blank piece of paper on it and a pencil slipped into the top. Taking both in hand, she wiggled the pencil around between her fingers and began to... draw? The android's hand moved with phenomenal speed only a machine was capable of, careful pencil lines sketched onto the page at a lightning pace. A solid thirty seconds passed, but when she was finished with her artwork, Cae flipped the clipboard around to show the doctor a strikingly precise drawing of the stranger from earlier in ludicrously exact detail: down to every minute scratch in his coat. Her name was written in eloquent cursive near the bottom.

"Do you know this man? He beat up the guy who was hurting Steven and gave me those supplies to pay you with. And he... knew a lot about machines." she questioned hopefully, wanting to get a lead on the stranger now that she knew Steven was okay.

She was going to write down Miles and say she forgot the "i" or something. However, sound at the front has other plans. She narrowly avoids having her fingers smashed as Julia does her thing. She props the Dumpster open and places her gear back on, one strap at a time. She took this satchel bag when she left her home, and replaced the strap with something that can hold shotgun shells later on. The other strap stole from her first group of raiders, the one's that caught her and probably drove away her family. They had a lot of combat gear, including lots of ammo pouches she rigged to hold various goods. For example, she found this sheet of plastic, stuffed on with these dirty spark plugs, I think this one here has some twigs...
Ok, nothing really useful, just random junk she has found on the road. However this shotgun she stole came in handy. She only left with a knife, but after stealing a weapon, later on finding some additions to it like the ammo sleeve, and meeting people who could mod it for a smaller choke, this shotgun is pretty much her best friend in this could world. And last but not least, rope. Rope is always useful. Useful for climbing, useful for holding makeshift shelter together, useful for dragging a kill. Oh, and I guess a gas mask, but she didn't take that off, this thing is practically part of her apparel. Although it's allowed her to run into places other couldn't, so she could hide or scavenge things. Speaking of gear, most of this stuff needs to be cleaned! Oh well, back to her beans, she's starving.

Claire walks into the room and looks at Buck when he closes the door. "Hello sir." she says with a smile. She walks over to the couch and sits down. "You wanted to see me sir?" she asks. Claire crosses her leg and gets comfortable on the couch. She smiles at Mr. Winter again. "What's the job this time sir? Who do I need to kill, or protect? What's the pay? Please fill me in sir." she says. As she waits for a response, Claire looks around the room. She really does like all the pre-war items. Her eyes return to Mr. Winter. "Oh, please. Pardon me. Where are my manors? How are you doing sir? How is your day?" Claire asks. She looks over at Buck. "And you too Buck. How are you doing? Anything new with any of you two?" she asks.

Suraru
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The pyro stairs at you for a long time, then he looks over at the beaten raider you're patting. "Well? By the man a beer and let's go!" That actually worked?! Your jaw almost drops but you manage to keep your composure.

The beaten bandit growls. "But boss~"
"Shut up and do it! He kicked your ass and you made a deal!"

The beaten raider starts to grumble and mumble as he makes his way over to the bar. It's like he's a 10 year old kid being told to go to bed. He gets you a beer and hands you the one he almost took from before, now you have two!

"Alright, now let's fucking go," says the pyro leader. The two other lackeys leave following the leader and the pyro you beat stops at the front door. He turns around and stairs at you, "I'll see you round fat-lip." He walks out slamming the door behind him. Fat-lip? You then taste the salty blood from your busted lip. Worth it, got a free drink for it.

You see the bartender sigh as he starts picking up the pieces of the broken table. "Just another day in Fairtown," says the bartender.

Cae
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The doctor looked at the clip board and back at you as you drew. He was clearly impressed at how fast your hand sketched the highly detailed drawing.

"Well let's have a look here." He leans forward adjusting his monocle to get a better look. "Hmmm," he examines it for a good 15 seconds.

"I can't say that I do... that looks like any old wanderer to me." He then adjusts his monocle again. "But..." But? What else was there? You lean forward in anticipation. "That regulator is defiantly advance-tech, not sure if pre-war though. The only people I know who wear such things would be divisionists. Their soldiers wear pre-war military gear similar and just as primitive." He looks back down at the drawing. "However, unless his outfit is green and he's wearing a red arm band, then I would say definitely not divisionist."

The doctor looks over at the clock on the wall. "Listen I'm sorry to kick you out but it really is getting late, the boy can stay until he gets better but you will have to stay somewhere else. Sorry, I run a clinic, not a hotel."

Dax Sierra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Terri nodded as you talked about the plans for tomorrow, she seemed not to mind that the mission was now both scav duty/recon.

When you brought up the subject of what Terri was going to ask before, she begins to blush and look at the floor nervously. She was a bit caught off guard, she didn't expect bringing it up now.

She looks up at you with a shy smile, still blushing like the time before in your room. "Dax, I~" she pauses for a moment trying to muster her courage to speak. "When we became friends... well....." you can tell she's pretty nervous. "I've always liked you... more then friends... I was a afraid to bring it up before cause I don't want to ruin our friendship... you mean a lot to me Dax." She looks down nervous of what your reply will be. "If you want to stay just friends Dax I completely understand... I just thought you should know."

You can see it in her eyes, she really does like you, and she wants to be more, but do you?

Claire Jones
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Buck is in the back next to the door. He makes a grunt showing that he is fine. Good ole Buck. Doesn't usually talk, but that's the way he is. You turn your attention back over to Mr. Winter.

"Oh you know how it is Claire, it's been a long week." He leans back and relaxes a bit. "How have you been Claire? Oh, do you want anything to drink? I got some scotch if you want some." He points over by the bookshelf if your interested.

Dax was caught off guard by this. He hadn't expected Terri to have feelings for him... not like this... but... he had them for her. He had them for a while just as she did. Now it made him chuckle alittle. They both had these feelings but neither one had the courage to bring it up before now. Figures she would be the one to break down and finally ask. He smiles and pulls her into a hug again,"Terri... I feel the same way. I have for a long time." He smiles at her again and puts her face close to hers,"Thank you for saying what I couldn't." He said shakily as now he was quite nervous again. His stomach got the familiar feeling of butterflies in the millions swirling around his stomach desperate to get out but he would keep them there. Nothing could ruin this moment now. Not twice in the same night right? He sword he would personally beat whoever did over the head. Specially James.

Suraru couldn't help but chuckle. Being weird and lucky hasn't failed him yet! Although that's probably because when it does, it'll be the only time, all these situations are borderline death. "Eh, sorry for the table, here, this should sorta cover the cost" He says putting the extra beer and what little money he has left on the table. He takes his time to finish his beer, probably having a short conversation with the bartender, then walks outside, wondering what time it is.
"Thanks to your unfortunate life, I've found myself being more and more grateful!"

"Are you horny? Do you not want babies? Just watch porn!
They'll make you jizz in your pants, so others don't have to!"

Well, that's as good as it's gonna get, I guess... shrugged Cae mentally.

It may have been a little out there to assume the doctor would recognize the stranger out of the thousands who probably dressed like him, but it was worth the effort anyway. She scratched at the drawing absentmindedly. She had never thought that the man might be a Divisionist after seeing him deck one without a moment's hesitation, but she was positive he belonged with someone -- something. The android didn't owe her allegiance to anyone, but most of her strokes of luck involved timely run-ins with some of the Ruins' powerplayers. The structure, ideology and resources that appeared when humans formed groups was important. And yet she did have the sneaking feeling the stranger wasn't anywhere close to being from Salvation, the Dems or the Division. No group like that would possess such people in them, would they? She placed the clipboard and pencil down on a cluttered table, propping it up.

"Oh, yeah. No problem. Thanks for your help." she said, blinking to attention. She was not certain a room full of rubbish and frozen body parts would make good lodging, anyway, and she was comfy enough with Steven's future that she could do what she had promised to do earlier: find the stranger. But then a realization hit her, and the impulse of her determination faded away. The stranger was no doubt gone by now to escape the wrath of the Division, and in Fairtown's bustling sprawl, there was no way she was going to find him when she didn't even know his face. She sighed, lugging her bag and submachine gun onto her back and picking her way toward the door. Thankfully, she managed to avoid the dangerous-looking spots of... fuzzy purple stuff on the floor. She looked back at Steven once more, wondering what he'd do when he was healed. Those injuries would take time.

"I'll come back and visit him in the morning." she promised, and twisted open the door. She looked up to the black sky and wondered how long she'd been in there. The sun was long under the horizon, and Fairtown had changed in response. The street was... eerily quiet, the bright moonlight marking everything in surprising detail -- as if it was daytime. The stalls had closed up and the storefronts had been locked down tight. The only people still in the streets were hastily making their way back home. Cae stepped out into the night with a thumb looped around the strap of her bag, closing the door tightly behind her. She inhaled, trying to judge Fairtown's mood. Although it was chaotic, the activity and attitude in this town tended to shift from one thing or another based on the time. She smelled burning: the homeless and thugs who hung out in the alleys were lighting their barrel fires by now.

She also smelled alcohol: raiders, laborers and faction soldiers that had just called it quits were heading over to Fairtown's many bars to get a drink. Lastly, she smelled sweat: either somebody running for their life, or some drunken brawls had already broken out. It didn't mean anything other than that she would have to find some place to stay for the night sooner than never. Not wanting to waste time, she set off down the street at a careful pace, her robotic ears swivelling and buzzing as they honed in on the slightest of sounds. A footstep, the stuffy breathing of a passerby, the click of a weapon being readied... it could all point toward danger. Immediately recalling an acceptably clean inn she had passed earlier, she took a left down the relatively empty streets, wanting to get indoors before Fairtown's nightlife realized the sun was down and popped out to play.

"Oh me? I've been fine. You know how it is around here. " Claire says. She looks over at the top of the book shelf, where the scotch is. She shakes her head no. "No scotch please. I don't like drinking." she says. Claire looks over at Buck. "Come on Buck. You can't even talk to me? I wanted to have a conversation with you." she says. She sighs and then turns back to Mr. Winter. "So, do you have a job for me? Or is this meeting just for pleasure?" she asks.

Suraru
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Exiting the bar the cool air blows against your face. The smell of sweat, alcohol, and heavy perfume fill the air, it's the start of Fairtown's nightlife. Some people are quickly making their way home as neon signs flicker to life of establishments only open during hours late as this. If Fairtown's mornings were lawless, then this is when the real crime comes out to play. You see gambling halls, bars, gentlemen clubs, all along the street begin to shine to life illuminating the night.

Although for awhile the street was mostly quite, in less then a minute, music, drunks, drug dealers, and prostitutes fill the streets. You've had a few drinks, and despite the fight you're in relatively a good mood. You see some interesting businesses down the road: "Rose Peddle" the local whorehouse, "Monro's Pub" although another bar it's nothing like Larry's (more people plus a large gambling center), and "The PiT" sort of a fight club and brawl area. There are also some smaller nightclub and bars along the street.

Looking around the crowd there are a few people that stick out, some attractive women together (most likely prostitutes), some shady characters in the ally close by (most likely drug dealers), some men down the road fighting, and a girl with metallic antenna on her head. Girl with metallic antenna on her head? You look over at this women. She doesn't look like she fits in with this crows at all. She's clearly a traveler caught in the hustle and bustle, probably looking for a place to stay the night. She's quite cute, and although it's a little hard to see her with the surrounding distractions, you can't help but to look at her for awhile. Anyway, snapping back into action, what do you do?

Cae
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You move along the street, quickly trying to avoid being sucked into what's to come. Knowing Fairtown, it's nightlife was about to rise and it did. The neon signs flicker to life of establishments only open during hours late as this. If morning's weren't lawless enough, they were nothing compared to Fairtown at night. You see gambling halls, bars, gentlemen clubs along the street begin to shine to life illuminating the night. It only takes a minute or two for the empty streets to begin being filled with people of all kinds: drunks, drug dealers, and prostitutes, travelers. You hear all sorts of stories about the dangers at night in Fairtown, especially for girls. It's not just the simple mugging, but even murders and rapes are quite prevalent.

Your speeding across the darker side of the streets, trying to avoid the dangerous allies and the crowd. You see a place to stay down the road "The Fair Motel", maybe you can stay there.

Dax Sierra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"You... you do?" She blushes a little deeper and smiles nervously. She's clearly glad that you feel the same way but still a little tense. She looks into your eyes, you still holding her, body's touching. So many emotions are flowing through her, nervousness, happiness, passion.

She closes her eyes and leans forward kissing you on the lips for a few second. After awhile she breaks it, slowly moving her head back, and opening her eyes again.

Claire Jones
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Mr. Winter smiles, "I thought business was pleasure," he chuckles. He opens a bottom drawer of his desk and pulls out a file handing it to you. You open it and inside is a big bold name labeled: "Light Fingered Lester". You heard the name before, it was a leader of one of the nearby raider groups.

"Division sent this one in," said Mr. Winter in a more serious tone. Lester and his gang "The Moterpsychos" are causing trouble for Division forces. They are attacking supply routes, fast and hard using, can you guess, yap, motorcycles. Clever name huh."

You open the file reading the basic detail of the targets location and appearance, but Mr.Winter describes most of what to expect for this job. "Listen, Division wants you to go into their camp situated not too far outside Cheyenne, and kill Lester. They are giving a bonus reward if you sabotage their motorcycles as well, and I don't mean slash up their tires, they want them completely destroyed." He leans back in his chair. "Although, like most raider, they are insane, they are clever mechanics so they could easily repair the damage you cause to the bikes, this is why they want them fully destroyed. Also, you know how Division how's their own law system, no vehicles allowed." He looks you in the eyes and talks now in a more sincere yet still stern voice. "Be careful with this one, the gang is pretty cruel and medium sized, about 17 members, but I know you, and I'm sure you can handle yourself."

"Is there any other questions you have before I send you on your way?" Of coarse it's too late to start this job right now so first thing tomorrow would be a good time to set off.

Claire looks through the file. She sighs. "As much as I'd hate to say it, I'd like help on this one. I feel like it would be easier to have a partner. Someone who can damage the bikes whiile I take out Lester. If you want me to do this alone, I understand. It'll just take longer." she says. She places the picture and the information back into the file. "Any specific way I should infiltrate them? Get captured? Or is that too risky? And what damage should I do to the bikes? Cut the gas line and light 'em up? Should I take out the Motorpsychos entirely? Or do they want just Lester dead?" Claire asks.
