Newer versions of flash player are always able to play older flash files.
Did it run?
What did you see on the screen?
Bang It Up! Wrote:It runs and able to play it, but it's abit laggy (maybe because it's showing on "Adobe Flash Player 9"?)... also I noticed a few bugs. Sometimes... whenever you try to get out of a building it won't let you out unless you back it up and go through it again (it's like you have to move downwards and hit the door no effect and then have to move upwards a little bit, then move downwards back and hit the door again to get out), also when you got out of the building sometimes it'll only show black screen but still got sound (even when you press the menu button you can hear the menu opening sound).
Other than that, the game was enjoyable... already caught Spearow, Rattata (still no Pokémorph?), Caterpie (still no Pokémorph?), Diglett (still no Pokémorph?) & Onix (From Brock and still no Pokémorph?). Also I noticed something rather strange... sometimes Misty's clothing changes randomly from time to time, was it intended?
Edit: I also noticed that a part of the wall in Brock's house is still transparent... behind the television and console that is, which is overlooking to the kitchen.
Thanks for the great game, even if it's still in demo state.

I don't know what causes that. It never happens on my computer, and my computer is about 5 years old.
humbird0 Wrote:There might be a way to improve the collision for door tiles.
Earlier this year, I added an alternative collision trigger to events that uses tile-based collision instead of distance-based collision. It would be more precise, but it would require me to painstakingly update every single door event in the game.
humbird0 Wrote:That does seem like the obvious thing to do.
On the other hand, I was thinking about exploring what a ghost pokemon really is.
What if they really are trans-dimensional beings like the pokedex entry speculates?
If so, what if you stumbled into their dimension at some point?
I was thinking I could do a Silent Hill thing for Lavender Town.
... I keep getting distracted from making strictly sexy stuff.
For better or worse.
Campo92 Wrote:uhm, lavander town... about lavander town, do you wanna something of creepy? or something sad? by the way, is possible to do the tower and at the end of that you can do something of paradimensional...
Bang It Up! Wrote:- Well... my instinct tells me that maybe it's because, whatever you were doing on your old computer might have not fully supported the new computers? I suspect that it might be because the game loads all of its levels, graphics, and sounds from external files. Maybe some of those load processes fail for some people. As far as I know, nobody ever has this kind of problem after I've converted a game into a self-contained SWF file.
