I only think 'oh my posterior' is not needed to be said. I think its a not common word.
The bigger phrases are neat! But I just need to see if its interesting to put only short words or entire phrases for Peach. Thats because longer words will let me limit the scene, which will need syncronization). E.g. in a goomba scene, Peach saying a long sentence will 'glue' this phrase to only this scene. Any other scene that has this long sentence will be immediatelly detected as a clone. But I can use them as separate parts, like 'Oh god, what a big thing!' (to be said in some scenes), then 'I cant believe this' (in another one), and 'Its like fish' in a blooper scene ;). So I can mix them, giving even more value to the sounds ;) The only requirement is to make a separate entonation of every phrase, in a more even way, so I can mix them (like the electronic messages which say different number orders without losing entonation).

Good!! I can make by parts, like this: ' I'm naked in front of him!' (I can use this phrase with some creatures, when she hides herself), then 'Here little koopa', if koopa touches her when her horny bar is more than 50% full (remember Peach is a bit embarassed to do the actions, except when she has a more than 50% horny bar, or if she is a slut of the level - fucked more than 10 enemies), or a whore of the kingdom (fucked more than 80 in the entire game) ;)
These 'more than X enemies') are already inside the game. When she's 'slut of the level', and then she finishes the level, she starts another level embarassed again. But not when she reaches 80 total laids (she will be a whore after this, until the end of the game).

Again, I can use by parts. 'Such a lot!!' in a given scene. Then lets say the player dont press space to advance.. she will be repeating the action over and over...and she may say a new phrase after 5~10 seconds: 'My belly is...full!' Then, some time later, 'Hot sticky salty meat!' and so on ;) in the future, when I have, say, a piranha plant scene, she can reuse some voices, like 'Such a lot', when the piranha blows liquids into her.

Hey!! I never said this will be a only Peach game in all aspects! Daisy and Rosalina were planned. Toadette and Birdo are already in the game. Pauline were planned later, because of Luigi. But as a PLAYABLE character, only Peach, Daisy, Rosalina and Krystal, in certain situations, like the player finishing the game and unblocking the gallery and these characters. Krystal was chosen because the game will receive Krystal world/character as being of the same epoch (medieval times), it will maintain LoK concepts/idealization about Krystal (as a warrior), she is cute and LoK is one of the games I really appreciate.

Trust me, I've never made that statement to myself ('hey, wait! My bro's name is Mario too') until these weeks. Maybe because I was not too fond of Mario games back in 1990 until after 2000. When I saw the modern Peach (with a sexy and desired appearance), and a more hentai style, along with Paper Mario games, then I returned to play Mario games, then remembered of my brother. No, hes not missing :P But I miss him (because he lives in another city). He's already married, with 2 kids. His woman has a blonde hair and she's slim, but the resemblance from Peach stops here. My brother doesnt have a moustache and he's not a plumber. Anyway, a non expected coincidence for me. Now I'm trying to make my brother like Mario games :P

Okay - so I had to get a new headset cause my old one was bung. I'm posting these now:

As I complete and upload more files they should appear in this album. The originals will also be available for download of the recorded files.
Files have been modified with a de-esser, noise filter and preset equalizer to improve quality but that is all. Audio was recorded at 32kh, encoded as 64kbs mp3 Mono.

@Ivan-Adler - yes when I wrote that script I intended it to be chopped up into little parts and put back together again. It is only written in 'lines' cause recording it in that manner will make it easier on me.
If you have Audacity or Soundbooth or similar it should be no problem cutting it up, or if you like I can cut them up myself, Rar them and upload them here.

Hoping and looking forward to your feedback.

@Kuroshu - the x-naught coin is in the flying boat stage. You have to climb a metal looking rope to the very top of the ship to find it.

I like your voice! After thirty minutes of analysing, I noticed that your voice comes near to Peach voice when it's pitched from +4 to +5, but it needs to improve more.
I've uploaded it below for people to see the difference. I think you can try to pitch your voice naturally (so I can pitch less, say, 2 or 3, in a way the sound will be more natural) ;)
So you can try to be a bit more soprano/a younger voice.

Here is the sounds I'm using for comparison.
1 - Peach default voice (I've choosen the best ones to compare). Its really important to try to base voice tones with these.

The timbre of the second voice using pitching, although comes next to Peach voice, may be more suitable right now to be used on Daisy.

I found a small bug. When she's wearing the nurses costume and she gets her clothes ripped off, parts remain on the back view.

ON PROGRESS: Testing PLAN #D (PRE FRAME).
If succeeded, LALEM problem will be vanished forever and this game can even have 1000 WORLDS with 1000 levels each! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Result: FAILED ONLY IN ONE LEVEL with 25 levels total (duplicated some levels!)
Other levels succeded, but level 1-3 created LALEM problem. Maybe because this level in particular has too many objects.
VERDICT: Yes, 'preframe approach' will help against LALEM in the future, and I can have, say, 40+ levels using only SWF.
But ONE of TWO levels may trigger the problem ONLY on themselves, so its just a matter to optimize that levels in particular.

EDIT (2014): SO, its not wise to code in FLASH using tons of levels in a given timeline. Its better to put just one level (the current one you are) and attach it to this frame 1. Thats because, even if we are playing level 13 above, the game 'loaded' all levels in the memory due to this HUGE timeline.

I really hope this horrible LALEM bug will be fixed soon, it's annoying and keeping the game from progressing.

When will your friend audition, Ivan? You know we got to have to hear her too eventually.

Maybe only on saturday because I'm still 'emptying the car' from the trip, and she will only have time that day. I'm now testing (slowly) a better PLAN D, using three preframes to avoid that bug. There is hope!

But remember I've already dealt with LALEM using GROUPING. No problem with latest versions so far. However, its not a guarantee of a 60+ level game without LALEM bug. If I get that problem fixed with heavy movie clip objects using Blargh's approach, then NOW its a guarantee it will work even with more than 1000 levels.

Now we must forget it until it appears again. I must keep making new levels.

I'm creating a locked door in level 2-3. So you need to get the key to unlock it. For now, it will be easy to get. Soon, the enemy 'spark' and Phamto will be there.

Yeah, the more I got into it the better I think I got. I had two problems when I was recording - when I was too shrill or too energetic the audio would clip (which means I need to turn my recording volume down) and secondly - in reality most girls do not talk in Peach's pitch. Listening to the game audio Peach is a Falcetto (she talks in the highest male register) and I did not notice this until after I recorded what I did. Most women in reality do not talk in that pitch and while I should be able to it will probably sound a little strange. We'll see.

I'm wondering if it would be better to get one of you guys to do her voice and not a girl?
I will however adjust my microphone settings so that it doesn't go clippy, try again and post when I have something.

FALSETTO: is the vocal register occupying the frequency range just above the modal voice register and overlapping with it by approximately one octave. It is produced by the vibration of the ligamentous edges of the vocal cords, in whole or in part.

An interesting thing is that research was made to find the best voice for her , since early times (1990 or earlier) and they preferred to maintain the 'fairy voice', used to Disney characters as Cinderella, Alice, Ariel, 'Little Red Riding Hood' and others.
Interesting enough, Krystal voice (the furry character) was dubbled using a more mature voice. In my opinion, she lose the fairy, the magic being, due to this :/
I'm not saying we must get away of all non-fairy / non-falsetto / non-soprano voice. But these combinations create a magic to those characters. They become more delightful for all the human senses.

I've noticed that, actually, Peach voice may have been recorded by a girl from 12 to 16 (or , as you've said, a man, using a falsetto voice!!)
Reverting pitch to -4 to -6 we can see almost the original voice which produced Peach one.

Second 2.7 to 3.5 was the best! When you say 'Cliiiis' /Pleeease', it approximates to Peach voice. I think that, when you open your mouth in a horizontal axis (teeth showing), Falsetto improves!

I think when you say 'oooh nooo', you are changing frequencies too much with 'oooo'. Please see my voice saying that.

I'm going to be completly honest here, I find the Peach voices you and the guys recording a bit disturbing. A man should not be voicing a woman. I'd wait for your lady friend to record some voice clips. It'd be more natural.



(Note: I'm not putting anyone down with the voice clips. I'm sure you guys worked hard to record those. But I really feel it's disturbing to see/hear a man voice a woman)

Um hello [raises hand] I AM a woman! Albeit in my late 30's.
Peach's voice is unrealistically high, even for a woman to achieve and the fact that Ivan wants to get the same pitch and therefore is pitch-shifting everything instead of just getting a plausible voice that sounds 'close' is why the clips are sounding freaky.

I honestly think that Peach in theses games is likely originally a pitch shifted voice (male or female - dunno) but I also think it's folly trying to get a voice that sound exactly like peach's. We should only be aspiring for something that is posh and high and close - not trying to actually duplicate her voice.
Imo

Alternatively, if your lazy you could find a voice synthasizer and have it say the lines.
