All right, the good news is that I managed to create a location system. It's a bit awkward, but it works. If someone with a better understanding of the syntax wants to clean it up a little, be my guest, but otherwise I don't plan on touching it. The bad news is that I spent a lot of time trying something that wasn't working, and haven't done any writing. Fingers crossed for the weekend!
Also, I'd appreciate feedback concerning the current status bar (lookin' at you, Yawg
).
(1)For health I figure we can just put fun little phrases in, and magic could come into play if Krystal manages to retrieve her staff. For example, if you try to shoot a sharpclaw with a fireball, and you've already used up your MP... well, we'll all get what we came for.
(2)What do ya'll think of replacing 'Level' with 'Experience'? I found out how to do that when I was messing around with the location stuff. It doesn't need to have an impact on the story, but it could be a good way to track your own progress.
(3)Should I make up an equipment category that links to descriptive pages? Doing so could add a bit of depth to the project.
