Zan grunts in pain as the Cerberus's third jaw pulls him to the floor...thankfully, it's not the worst pain he's ever felt. In retaliation, he jams his Ace of Spades into the biting head's neck, aiming to pry his shoulder loose, and maybe even have it choke from the severed windpipe. He'd better pry it off fast, or he's gonna be dog food before this is over...or he can get his ass saved by Rosalie. No real complaints there. Rising back to his feet, Zan looks at what damage they've done to the beast...and finds the wounds closing up abnormally fast.
"Damn...regeneration..." Zan mutters with dismay, wondering how they're going to take this beast down with such an ability on its side. Wait a minute...three heads makes three brains...and judging by how Officer Silent's blow to one truly killed it...
"Aim for the heads!" Zan cries out, having (hopefully) deciphered the three-headed hounds' weakness. In other words: "cut off the snake's head, and the body will die"...or "heads," in this case. Circling around to give the girls clearer shots, he fires some of his own, aiming for the eyes of whatever head(s) he has a clear shot at. It will help distract the Cerberus from the ladies, and the beam's bright lights will help disorient it as well, allowing for better chances at dealing fatal blows.
Should it charge him again, however, Zan has a better plan of attack: he'll activate his XL System, weave to one side, and aim to fully decapitate one of its heads. If he's lucky, the energized edge of his weapon will cauterize the flesh on its way through, significantly hindering its regeneration, if not halting it altogether. Let's see how the mutt handles itself with one less brain...
