@Digfree looking good and smoth, good job.

Im going to search for some hands to use as template (Hands is too hard to make from scratch)

That model im working on is also going to be a Krystal model, why i am making an other is because im not too happy with that one so i am making a other one which dont follow palcomix style.

Probably a good idea given there's a good deal of people that prefer kalypso's krystal still or even the original playshapes version. I doubt you'll please everyone but if there's at least two styles for krystal, that should satisfy people and give them a choice on which style they want to use. Question though, if she's gonna be another krystal, why is her fur brown?

I know that there is some people who dont like my model and also im not that happy with it so I want to make a new one. Why its brown is because it looks awesome.

I took a look at kalypso's Krystal model (the one that is in that sharpclaw animation) and i think that it is preaty awesome but i can understand why you wouldent like to use it but im think about to change some stuff and you may change your minds about it. Also Kalypso's sharpclaws is so damn awsome so i would realy like to animate with them and make something like LoK out of it.

the biggest reason i think is how utterly depressed kal's krystal looks. aside from that there were anatomical problems with her (the design of the eye was one of those issues, i think it was resolved in later version as were some of the other anatomical problems), if you saw some of the comments, other users pointed out some issues with her as well.

I'm also going to be a bit biased because i remember when his krystal was REALLY REALLY rough round the edges and was rejected outright by everyone.
I tried looking through creative corner for the most recent/last version of krystal that kal did, but couldn't find it, so i'll just repost it here and give my thoughts on it.

Pros: definatly not 'child like' a problem using palcomix's version has. The eye (after must of my nagging) looks greatly improved and alive. She has more of an innocent look than depressed. A good eye for details like with the hair decorations, and the tail hand been reworked to look proper.
Cons: from under her breasts to her crotch the anatomy isn't quite right, she doesn't have proper curves to show she has a ribcage, and her vagina is pushed out for the sake of making it apparent that we gave her one when really it only needs to be seen when her legs are spread and she's getting railed. Breasts don't quite feel right on her body, (he knew this and had made changes to the model but chose the larger size to help make the outfit) and not caring for the redesign of her bra.

Other problems were ones that eggplants and 3y found, she still needed to have another vector work for her mouth being open. Also ptoon and eggplants both wanted her jaw to be further reworked to make her lips more noticable. I'll post their comparisons as well.

eggplants used a slightly older model that's why the eye looks different in it.

I hope this answers some of the questions you had. Kal's work was well onto being perfected, a few more changes and I think the full team would have supported it completely.

oh that one was done by vixen tamer, kal just colored and vectored it. the biggest problem with her is much what you had before i started helping you, the body is 'chibi'

Please tell me all the bad things with the model so that i can fix it and make this model better and also animate able.

Was the Sharpclaws also made by vixen tamer?

those were Kal's. there was a post somewhere about how the body needed to be stretched out more. Kal said when he tried to stretch the body out, in threw all other proportions out of wack, they looked perfect as they were, but not so good when modified. Aside from that the head kinda had that blank expression issue. I'd just keep working on your own model and take what you think are the good points from vix's model, and apply them to yours.

Im not able to continue with the model because i need to find a head to trace instead of making my own one because i cant make a head that looks good and looks like krystal's and it feels like the body wont work so im going to make a new one.

Yeah, I traced his line-art, but I completely revised it with 3-4 concept drawings before I was okay with his appearance. Then I vectored my recreation of Vix's. Sort of the same thing I did with Playshape's model of Krystal, except the Krystal I did was overhauled and completely redrawn from scratch; I just used the guidelines from the pieces of the Playshapes models and put the whole thing together, and made 5 alternative outfits in the original model.
If it seems a little on the douchebag side for me to have even said anything, hell, I'm sorry--just want the credit for the time I put into it, regardless of it's status as game content. Took a hell of a long time to make those models, stings a bit inside when I realize that and don't get recognized for it.

Wasn't trying to say you did nothing. But it's basically true what I said, vix did the original work, you took the front and 3/4 models, colored and shaded them and converted them into vectors that could be used.

BTW 5 outfits?, i don't remember them, just 3. the cerulian outfit and the slave girl outfit, i think 3y mentioned the flight suit so 3 outfits, what where the other two?

For Katsu, the head, i'm not gonna lie, is pretty bad. I'm not sure how to discribe fixing it... I'd try to keep the same hairstyle that was used in the palcomix version, it gave her hair some nice volume. the muzzle is suffering form that 'too thick' problem, and they eye, i'm just not a fan of it right now, plush she does't have that tuff of fur that comes off her cheeks usually. Why it was that bad is because it was realy fast made and i only made the eye because i needed one. I like to show small updates and then see what you think so that i know that im not working on the wrong thing.

So I did some poking around and put together some side shots of heads that you might wanna pick and choose from or not, it's up to you. Hope they help! ;)

And I don't think that head in your last post is bad at all, it's just not detailed, people need to be more patient and wait till detail is put in haha, it's just that line art never looks right without color, you know?

Wow this is a whole lot of new pages. I wanna say "slooooowwww down" but progress is a good thing, and I think your (finished?) model looks pretty nice.

Here's what I was actually trying to say way back on page 1: (Bear with me, it seems GIMP refused to acknowledge my tablet so I had to try and do this with the mouse)

I might be alone in this sort of thinking; I dunno. The blackish lines on the upper-left image show my best estimates of the outer line of her chest and the center line of her torso, and the red and blue lines outlining her breasts. The upper-right is a (less-than-amazing) side-view estimate. Considering the angle Krystal's body is at, to me it looks like the blue-outlined breast is smaller and doesn't come out as far as the red one. I just think it might look more accurate if it was something more like the lower image.

I dunno, if someone wants to tell me I'm wrong go ahead.

The model came together quite well katsu.

As for changes to how you perceive the breast, if you were to make it so the red outlined one sagged or got a bit lower and elongated without the bra you could trick people into thinking it is a push up effect while the bra is worn.

I recommend using models 1 and 2 that bussa posted maybe a bit of 3, i know ebonizza likes that one. I don' think the other heads are krystal but they are a good general shape to use.

the head itself suffers from the problems the last head did, the muzzle is unbalanced in thickness of the upper and lower jaws and the eye is....i'm trying to think of how to explain it properly.

There's no eyebrow so that throws it off by a lot. the edge of the eye looks weird, i wish i could explain it better i'd suggest using what i did for your past model or using one of the other eyes from kal's model or the pictures bussa posted. it'd help to make the eye either wider or less long, and thicken the lines for the top eyelid for the effect of eyelashes. I'll see if i can post my own version of a mock up later.
