Jenny wears a look of concern upon hearing what Myu has to say. She knows that the chances of them getting to the next town by nightfall are slim, if existent at all...but she can't bring herself to say that here. Instead, she tries to answer in the most comforting way she can manage: "Maybe, Myu...but I'm not sure. Though, we are part of this caravan's guardian group, so we're up for duty at night. Just remember, I'm here if anything happens. Nothing bad's getting to you on my watch, you can count on that." Jenny pulls Myu in a little closer, trying to help her feel more secure. To aid that security further, she adds: "Let me fill you in on something. Monsters are less likely to attack you if they think you're stronger than them. If you think there are some around, just glare at where you think they are, and try to look as tough as you can with that glare. If they're dumb enough to attack after that, you've got me to help, okay?"
Jenny's tip does have some truth to it. Throughout the history of life, creatures both intelligent and primal have used intimidation to ward off danger. Dogs growl, snakes hiss, lions roar, and sentient races use verbal threats and shows of force. Anyone or anything with a brain has that base instinct, and they can tell when another creature is too much for them. All Myu has to do, is make sure they know not to mess with her...and like Jenny said, she can move in and intervene if things go wrong. If nothing else, it should help Myu sleep a little better on the trip...
