I guess I should keep a strict schedule for updates even if they are just progress posts for courtesy's sake. Plus, hey, I get free input!
So, let's see... progress report for today...
I guess I should talk about where it's at with the town of Montbury?
The idea for world generation is this: Instead of a single, contiguous building exterior involving fairly large bitmaps... I was thinking that for the generic buildings we should have the same system as the road... And by that I mean tiles:
- Example of an interior wall

That way I can even overlay a different window tile over a different wall tile and have plenty of neat combinations using the same couple of tiles. Also, I'm going to cast some shadows over the alley wall tiles. And apply a darker filter over it. I've been meaning to do that for a while, just never got around to it. Honest. Laziness has nothing to do with it. At all.
There is one caveat: The tiles I make have to be more or less the same color theme or style. I can't have a gaudy purple wall and then suddenly put in a bleak almost colorless grey. So I have to be restrictive with my palette, but hopefully I can still have a lively (undead) city. But you guys probably care more for what's in the foreground (hint hint). Speaking of which...

ZFied wants a perpetual sex loop for the leeches. So they can pump Rebecca's bodily fluids all the merry day-long.
The huge problem with the worm/leech group is that it has 4 actors (Rebecca and 3 happy fluid suckers). This means that even a happy wriggle becomes a chore that's got to be repeated twice.

I've brought this up several times before, but again the huge problem I get initially is the jump from sketch to pixel art. Instead of being able to use smooth gradients that look real nice, I get fudge. And by fudge I mean pixels. Which might end up making the sketch look funny. The sketch that I posted up there isn't all that great to begin with, but the transition into pixel art is always a pain. Insert grumpy face here.
Also, I'm sure you guys have noticed, but the sketch and the shot of Rebecca after it... well, they're huge. Much bigger than the end result I posted earlier. It's kind of what I'm used to. Whenever I'm not doing pixel art, my artwork is bigger than it should be so I can scale it down just a little bit. And it works much better. I have no idea why. With pixel art though, I have to be really careful, otherwise I'm stuck hunting rogue pixels everywhere.
Conclusion? So, from a concept that was supposed to be Rebecca grasping her head frantically in ecstasy, I am bordering dangerously close to Rebecca looking like she's having a migraine. THAT'S how difficult it is to transition sketch to pixel art. Also, I wanted Rebecca to struggle more, but with 3 leeches/worms on her, it became really boring really fast.
Rebecca became a lot more stiff with a lot less going on around her chest than I originally intended (making the abdomen move is a lot harder than moving the torso up and down, so I thought, hey, why not? : D ), and the worms/leeches are wriggling a lot less than I originally intended for 8 frames. Eh.
And yes, I again forgot about Rebecca's choker and gloves, and only added that in after I was satisfied with the leech sex.
Oh, and one more!
- Yay. More sex. Now if only I could find the determination not to lose focus and get bored again.

This one is supposed to be one of those sprites where there's interaction with the environment, but I'm stumped. How should it go? Should the insertion sprite be one where he hooks her leg up and eases into her, or what? And the climax... Mrh. Honestly I'll figure it out. I think. It's just that I don't want to overload my head with ideas for all these different sex scenes.
Oooh, and I've also got Rebecca's sex sprite with four leeches/worms happily clamped on her, but that one's not complete. Because I want the leeches/worms to look happy as they... uh... do... stuff!
PS: For those interested (a few I guess?), the reason with the delay in the project is a sense of accomplishment. Back in Uni I had assignments I could keep up with, but I liked completing stuff for this project on the side. Sense of accomplishment get!
But then I got work. Work actually gets me excited. I'm weird.
I do a lot of things at work that gets me that sense of accomplishment so when I sit down for the project... I go 'meh' and sleep. Honestly, it's much more fun drawing stuff like this:

Or even a non-pixel art wallpaper. It's because after you keep at something for a while, then it becomes a chore. Which is why there's so many unfinished sex sprites/tiles on my drive, and I'm just to embarassed at the lack of completion to share (HA!). Anyway, I'll still keep going with the project. Seriously, I'm like DaVinci, never completing my shit. Only his works were better.
PPS: Uh, does anyone have any idea of how animated breast licking/suckling ought to look like, because I've got a sex sprite of Rebecca near the ice cream stand with a zombie suckling on her choco-tits and I need help.
