You might want to read it..." she adds with a somewhat somber tone, while taking the coins and badge that General Samantha left behind for them.

Jenny heads out of the guard station with Myu, and over to the caravan. Along the way, her mind revisits the thoughts about General Samantha's note. Ivan nods to the leader, then responds to Sharon. "I've just been here a while, its my job to protect us on the road so naturally I'm familiar with most of the carts." He walks them back to his horse, Fenrill, and takes his reins as they walk around. He notices Emily dosen't talk much and tries asking a question to get her comfortable. "You said you were a rune merchant? What sort of things do runes do, if you don't mind me asking, I'm not terribly familiar with magics of any sort?"

His eyes turned red and he instantly grabbed the man by the throat and lifted him in the air, squeezing his throat slowly, "Don't put me in the league with her, I am no one's husband, she is just an acquaint of mine." She is a bit puzzled by Ivan's question at first considering how she rarely comes across others interested in runes. "Oh...... well runes tend to be used for a varied purpose. Though the way I make them they are made to magically augment the user. Depending on what you want I could make a rune to strengthen your senses, physical strength, or just to make you harder to notice. A lot of the runes application toward people or equipment are only temporary, however there can be a few that permanently imbued with certain objects. I've only done that this one time with........" She didn't realize how much she had said till she was about to mention her sword. This man kinda had strange influence with people. Emily has never talked that much for a long time. The rock covering of the Geode is slowly tapped away. It is about the size of a soccer ball. It reveals a cylinder like orange crystal core inside. The orange comes in a multitude of colors. In the center there are some spikes of quartz jutting out like a gem merchant’s paradise.

Another tap and it reveals a second surprise in there. Another smaller geode is on the inside. You tap that geode out. The other geode looks has a yellow center that slowly changes yellow to orange to a dark red.. Calvin smiles a toothy grin. “Luck must be with you today… it’s not every day someone finds a geode within a Geode”

Garian gritted his teeth, it took a lot to make him angry, but he was showing them mercy. He twitched an eye and walked towards the man he had just thrown to the tree and, with his booted foot, slammed his heel as hard as his demonic strength could into the man's head. Before the other one could react, he pulled out a knife from within his coat and threw it at the other lumberjack. They wanted to see him angry, they got it. Very few times, all of which Aessith hasn't seen, he had gotten angry, and when he did it was hell for those that pissed him off. Maybe a part of him got angry because he wanted to show Aessith that he wasn't all talk, that he can react bloodily and kill someone without a second thought.

I wandered helping people where I could, generally they were people already in such great need I couldn't take any reward I offered so as my things were slowly battered I couldn't afford to replace them... or maintain them regularly. I'm surprised this old set of armor still lets me get around without locking up. It was my fathers you know, passed down a few generations though I suspect I abused it more than any of my predecessors."

"Oh a vagabond huh...." With the way Ivan looked with his armor right now she couldn't imagine him as wander, but more as a gallant knight. The moment he mentioned the condition of his armor Emily softly said. "I could apply some runes to your armor and sword. It could help...." She had her offer stand for him. The idea of him being a wanderer like her was making her blush a little. It wasn't that noticeable, but Emily could still feel it all the same.

Jinedria was quick to turn her head away, rather hung up on Zeph's words as he walked away. Marvelous wasn't the word that came to mind for the Iievyr. At least, not after all these years. The Fayers' clan had shaped her to fit human society like no other, and the blood of the Iievyr seemed only as intriguing as superstition and ancestral lore allowed. It was all unimpressive, maybe. After all, most of her species' magnificence was in the millennia past, or in the depths of the land where developed society had never touched. Iievyr society was not like the kingdoms of the humans or dwarves or whathaveyou, which could fill their history books with new tales of bloody wars and grand riches every thirty years. Nevertheless, she was a little... glad, for Zeph's interest for the Elementals, even if it was a little naive. The Elementals were many and far apart, but Jin knew much of them. Perhaps too much, given their rarity. She rolled her shoulder, running a finger through her silky hair. The caravan would be setting off soon, and she did not want to be blindsided, half-ready.

Again, she counted off her things. Basic supplies, Elemental Salts, some food, coin, herself... all intact and tucked away.

Not wanting to let the monster that was laziness eat her, though, she thought better of lying about and slid off the wagon, smoothing her skirt and stepping up through the labyrinth of carts, wagons, horses, merchants, guards and mules to the front of the procession. By now, the caravan was being divided up so that it might be more organized. Jin knew where she was to be, but it somehow felt wiser to be at the nose of the action when the wheels and hooves hit the dirt.

She leaned up against a wagon, looking down to her palm. With no gesture from her, a vibrant red-orange flame sprang to life there, its flickering orange light licking at her hand and fluttering naturally under the breeze. She felt its warmth, but of course no pain.

She hummed as she twisted the kindling flame about her hand artfully, awaiting the next step.

Ivan was lost in his memories for a moment before coming back down to earth. "Oh I can't realy aford runes right now, I only get paid enough to buy a decent meal and pay for lodgings when I need them." Ivan waves to a few guards and merchants as they make their way through the crowds. "If you ever need a tailor, Susan over there is one of the bests" He says it as a random point of fact, he does this with a few people pointing out who to see for various wares. "The best part is the discount you get for being in the caravan yourself. Is this your first time on the road by the way?"

"Well.... I wouldn't mind giving you a single rune for.....free." Emily still had her offer held for him, He had been kind to her and she wanted to at least give him something for his kindness. Being asked about the road was a simple question to answer."This isn't my first time traveling. I've been doing this for most of my life. My family were all nomads. Though there used to be shrine my ancestors had before it was burned down during the war against monsters." She kept walking along side his horse as she talked. Maybe it wasn't so bad to travel with a group it was working out for her so far. I mean these people were kind and tightly knitted community. It seemed nice for a change.
