Still think it would be cool to have a harem for Eva to visit and blow off some steam.

I, I thought someone said that there was "no rape" in this game; but instead that someone said that Eva was never raped; and that's a pretty different thing.

P.S: But anyway, isn't it a little "odd" that Eva is always "dominant"? There isn't a single creature out there that basically "dominates" Eva while the sex act, even if in the end Eva ends controlling it after?

P.S2: Yes, I know that the game has already been "mapped out", I'm asking not suggesting.

You said it, and now you keep bringing it up. If it is or is not rape is subjective, and up to the player; but either way the conversation is done. I wouldn't advise continued spamming of my thread.

I don't understand the turn based portion at all. But I guess it's still being fleshed out. Could you explain your ideas for it at least?

It is just a framework, you can't actually attack anything yet. The idea is pretty simple; your units will be either heavy/medium/light (ex: Vanguard, Wasp, Gorger). The battles will be paper/rock/scissor style. Each unit has 4 health: lose 1 for advantage, 2 for even, 3 for disadvantage. It won't be super complicated or difficult. It just helps move the plot along (so you don't always have to army of one be sneaking around). In between the chapters, there will be a short turn based segment where your army advances Eva to the next area. I might throw a couple H scenes in for victories, etc.

I figure you have an army now; it makes sense to use it, right?

With not being able to control your summons, would this mean we wont have character specified scenes? Like the Guard and Bridgette from the first game?

As a fan of strategy games (especially turn-based ones) I like that we'd be able to control our army, even if it is something simple like this (sometimes simple is best).

I like the new turn-based game, will flesh the game out more and of course h-scenes for winning will be a great prize. will you be able to choose what you create later on, or will it be random like it is now?

How will the strategy fit in with the rest? In chapter 1 the battle was only used as a distraction to infiltrate the hive.

Will winning the battle actually be required? Because the fact that there is a battle at all should be enough for infiltration and if you win the battle infiltration will probably not be necessary anyway. Eva's greatest power is seducing opponents to join her cause, so it is kind of counter-productive to kill opponents in battle.

Mebbe Mistress orders her minions to capture, and not kill? I dunno.

I'm curious too.

The ways I can think of are either

1) having the battle thing be compulsory, so that you need to win to move on to the next stage of the game (Not my preferred idea)
Or
2) Having the strategy battle stages be optional, so that you can play out the distractions that the battles CONSIST of, and if you play them well you might unlock some sort of buff or boost for the accompanying Mistress stages.
Like ... I dunno... more summon effectiveness, or more summon availability [as in, more (summon bar filling) per (event that fills summon bar)] since your generals/powerful summons/whatever aren't busy fighting tooth and nail to make up for weaknesses in the troops, but are instead free to help you out more, and help you out with more of their energy, since the troops are holding their own?

But like, if you fail at them, or if you ignore them completely, the battles still function as distractions and you infiltrate as usual.

Hell, my only problem with dem large-scale war stages is that I'm almost sure I'd FFFFFFFFF every time I got a single minion killed.

someone Wrote:the fact that there is a battle at all should be enough for infiltration

Seems legit.

someone Wrote: and if you win the battle infiltration will probably not be necessary anyway.

Seems legit, except that ... eh, maybe the smaller troops can't handle the bigger bosses without taking hideous losses or something, so that even if the troops are successful you'd still need a Mistress segment to take out the final elites and the boss?
I dunno per se, but for example Beezy's powerlevel seems high enough that she could have taken out the entire hive and its occupants including Mistress... somehow.

I'm pretty interested to see what GP has to say, and I kinda wish I had been present on the stream when he was designing the battle segment, to see what, if anything, he mentioned at that time.
...Hell, I'm also interested to see if he'll be able to make these segments all varied and shit, with multiple objectives, or if the first one'll be the same as the last, or what.

Capturing the enemy is sort of hard in a full scale battle. It would only work if the enemy had an extremely small force. Which would make playing out the battle irrelevant.

2) seems like a good idea, especially if the enemy sister happens to have a relevant lieutenant to command the opposing forces (although losing once would mean permanently losing the chance for a scene).

You have vanguards/elite gorgers against whatever elites the enemy has, only the boss battle would be left.

Just looked at it again and realised that your start is the statue in your dimension while the opponent uses the gate. Strategic battles are probably defensive.

Lol! Sorry about the lack of updates. Busy time of year for my job, and after that I am going away on vacation. It might be another month before you see anything, although if things are kind of slow in the next few days I might post an updated version of the strategy portion (it is looking awesome); I changed the mechanics around a bit so that if done right, you can subjugate enemies instead of killing them, which involves stuff I think you all will enjoy watching.
