I say leave customization out until the game is over then if he looks at the whole finished thing and feels it wont lag too badly he could re-add it in there if he believes it won't lag everything TOO much

Well, to be fair, some dudes fucking HATE pubic hair, like some others hate armpit hair. As a member of the latter group, I can sympathise with the former.

Actually pubic hair won't probably lag the game. You can remove the rest of customization but just leave the pubic hair options.

Although I still don't understand why it is so damned hard to have some sort of customization without lagging the game...

Pre-made appearances for Eva maybe?

I have to agree with webought on this one. It better off to focus on finishing the game first before adding things like customization considering there is a chance it will lag the game. Better off safe than get a bunch of bitching on how its lags when they try to fight.

On the topic of pubic hair, like Lucky said about how some people hate pubic hair. Would it really be fair to them to have the only customization option be the on they hate most?

Overall I say we're better off letting Gore go his own way cuz I'm sure he already has decided the right path to go when making this game. Suggestions on things like mechanics, graphics (not really), and bugs would probably help him more than the stuff you want added in. I probably seem like a hyprocrite cuz I did the same thing like a page or two ago but I realize that since Gore has things planned out already, it would be a nuisance to post things for him to add into the game. Unless of course I'm a complete retard and shouldnt ever comment on anything ever again of course. In that case feel free to ignore everything I say :)

Unfortunately it isn't that easy. The Eva you see on stage is a collection of animation clips. Those animation clips are a collection of objects on multiple layers over a timeline. Each object is composed itself of multiple layers holding information such as lining, shading, and color palette. All the thousands of layers and bits that make her up have little lines of code attached to them for customization. I can't just program in customization on that base layer then just simply "remove" it later. You have to build it the way you want the first time or else go back an deconstruct all of it later, which isn't really worth the effort!

Although, when I say no more customization I am mostly referring to color customization, which is running a script to recolor each of those pieces every time a new animation is loaded (basically every time you do anything). This is where the lag is coming from... Conversely, things like weapons, armor, pubes... graphic customizations actually don't cause too many issues and will probably stay in.

Also, I keep trying to summon a spirit mask, but it won't work... using a summon skill is pretty challenging in this game... :/

Bring back the classic Sayabusa please. This is far too clunky and just bad to really work. I liked the old rush style. It worked well, and I wanted to see how we were going to sex that giant worm in the 2nd level.

But anyway, the original version of Sakyubasu no Tatakai is basically a "demo" of the new game; and actually the new game is far better than the old, even if it is so damned hard.

Not going to happen, sorry! As I have said many times, Corta has pretty much mastered the old models so there isn't really a reason to go back to that style. If it is really that big of a deal, ask him to add the old Sakyu model to his Splatformer; I wouldn't care!
